My husband & I used to Board(when we had to go out of Town/State). As Well As, drop our Louie off @ Doggie Daycare. Now, this DID NOT HAPPEN ONLY 1 TIME! (Please keep that in mind)Louie is our “Child but, with PAWS” I’m going to Protect that lil Shih-Tzu with every breath I have!PLEASE, if you love & care for your dog & I know you do, BRING them somewhere else! I BEG YOU! If you are BOARDING YOUR DOG! TURN AROUND!WHY WEREN’T THERE ANY CAMERAS EVER OVERNIGHT? WHEN THEY HAD CAMERAS? & THEY WERE WORKING…!!I can guarantee you that your dog will come home to you with their own Poop all over them (YES! for DAYS & DAY!!)if you pick them up early from boarding, guaranteed!! I PROMISE YOU.FACT! You know what so Funny??He offered me the $200 & something Dollars back for the Boarding. 1stI LAUGHED @ him & simply said, you are a horrible & would be a terrible businessman. 2nd I declined. Keep your $230.00 who is going to pay for her salary, the lights on, etc. etc. payroll. Here’s the funny part, turns to me & says, do you want me to clean up your dog for you?Should that even be a question??Of course I declined again. Goes to show of why he would be a horrible businessman in this field. Names are going to be withheld.So with that said, this was not the first time, my dog has come home with Sh$Ton him! Why would you bring your dog there overnight?Also, I have an apology from the owner Sean on voicemail saying how WRONG HIS HANDLER WAS blah..blah..blah.. Also, I have a text message from Sean (cause we didn’t reply to the voicemail of course) I can post that as well.Anything to Prevent anyone going there & Mostly, Protecting Those Precious Paws 🐾!

1000/10- Dog Boarding- The Madison Dog resort and Spa Wayne- They were wonderful and my dog thought so too! My dog has a lot of health conditions so I was nervous about finding a place that could accommodate that. Our vet is the one that recommended this place. They were incredibly personable, answered all my questions, were very thorough in paperwork and prep. They have cameras throughout so you can check on your dog. They are very clean and organized. They also do a behavioral test to make sure your dog can handle being handled by people and play with other dogs. You can tell they truly care about the dogs.

The Madison is the best place you can bring your dog. Shaun the owner is incredible! My wife and I had an emergency situation and needed to bring our child to the hospital for a few nights. Shaun stayed past 10pm and took both of our dogs. He was fully booked that night and cleared out an office so that my dogs could have a safe place. Shaun and his staff truly care about all the dogs that enter their facility. They go above and beyond for them and the people who leave their beloved pets in their care. They will always have my business!

I was recommended the Madison dogs resort & spa by a friend. I was very impressed by being able to see my dog in the playroom with all the other dogs at any time as I was able to install the app they told me about. My dog was there for 2 days. I called one day to ask about her and they had no problems telling how she was doing. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family. A+++ service!

We have been clients of The Madison Dog Resort & Spa Wayne since 2015. We board our dogs there but never took advantage of the daycare service until 2022 when we added a 2nd dog (puppy) to our “pack”. Now both “fur kids” visit at least once a week. They get to play and socialize with other dogs and come home EXHAUSTED. This has especially helped improve the younger one’s behavior as well…he’s just too tired to act out, lol. It’s a win/win for everyone. 😉

We have brought our dog to a lot of different groomers around the area, but this is by far the best place where he has come out looking his best. Great place and friendly staff!

Every time I drop off Cynthia, she can't get out of the car fast enough to burst through the front door. Lately she barks at whoever is behind the desk to hurry up so she can play with her pup friends. Everyone is super nice, and always seems interested in Cynthia or whichever dog is being dropped off. Very comforting to know they're all being taken care of so well.

My dog was injured on day 7 of her planned 8 day stay at the Madison, either bite by another dog or hooked on something in the environment. No one saw the injury occur, and infection had set in so she was probably injured and not noticed for who knows how long.. While I originally was understanding and I felt the proper steps where taken to get my dog help immediately after the discovery of the injury, the lack of accountability for the weeks of aftercare needed to pack and bandage my dogs wounds every two days is disheartening to say the least. After initially promising to take care of the aftercare my dog needed, Sean has not returned my messages as my out of pocket expenses for this injury are adding up. For two weeks, we have had to return to the vet every two days to have the wound repacked as it heals. She has, unfortunately, experienced a lot of pain due to this injury, and has just started another course of expensive antibiotics to treat the Infection that set in after injury.Very unfortunate situation and a blatant failure to supervise and provide a safe environment and lack of accountability by the owners.

Update: my girlfriend also left a poor review because we both had nothing short of an awful experience. And her review has since been taken down. Makes me wonder how many other reviews this owner has had removed Stay away from this businessHad an awful experience bringing in my 10 month old puppy, super unprofessional. So glad I found another doggie day care that actually takes the time and actually cares about the dogs they host

I did alot for research and it took me a while to find a place I knew I was going to be comfortable leaving my baby with. My dog absolutely loves coming here. All I have to say is "day care" and shes running scratching at the nearest door in my house ready to go. Its great for her to socialize, play, get some energy out while I'm at work. All the staff is absolutely amazing. You can see their love for the dogs. I recommend the madison to everyone I speak to who has dogs!

The Madison is Fantastic!! My dog, Murphy, loves it here! He always has so much fun and gets excited to play with his friends each day! The staff is excellent! They are all really friendly and wonderful with the dogs. I know Murphy is well taken care of whether he is here for day care, an overnight stay, or to be groomed. I highly recommend The Madison Dog Resort and Spa in Wayne!!

Love this place (so do my dogs). Clean, safe, and friendly environment. The staff know my dogs well. Video monitoring is available for you to check up on your babies. Vet tech and groomer on staff. We've boarded my dogs twice and had a great experience. I only trust these guys with my pups.

I love the Madison!!! Very clean and staff is always accommodating and friendly. I bring my 1-year old lab mix here a few times a week and have never had a problem! I boarded her over the Thanksgiving break (Wed-Fri) so my sister and I could shop and cook without having to worry about running to take her for walks and to do her business. It was such a relief knowing that she was running around playing while my family and I hovered over the stove for 2 days.

We have been bringing our dog here for a while now, the groomer Dana was amazing! When Dana had left they had brought in a new groomer who was not professional, and cut my dogs hair so uneven as well as cutting him down to the skin making him bleed. I had posted a review about this and the owner immediately responded to it and apologized and rectified the situation, previous groomer is no longer there and he had us come in for a grooming with the new groomer Natalie. My golden retriever has never looked better, she did a great cut and got no where close to hurting his skin! We will definitely continue bringing our dog to Natalie! Kudos to the owner on the integrity move and helping us fix this situation!

Always a pleasure and always a great staff. My pup goes there at least 1 time a week so I can get stuff done. He has a cage but why not go have fun. Its clean. He comes home tired and he actually looks forward to going since he knows the route when in the car. The second I pull into the parking lot, he goes crazy with excitement. Besides being very clean, well maintained and all the other good stuff, he really does have a good time. He tells me lol.

I took my dog there to run, and play, and socialize. We had a whole conversation about this, I'm not forced because work or any other reason. So he had an incident. Which was his fault. (I'm not denying that), so they kept him isolated. My PROBLEM!! Is that they should have contacted me as soon as it happened, the only way I found out was by watching on the camera.. But they knew I would stop bringing him there. And they would lose a customer. VERY VERY UNCOOL... I was bringing him there to play, not be stuck in a corner.

Our dog loves going to Madison! It's great to watch them on camera all day and you can really tell they all love dogs. I've watch them pet the dogs, hold them and play with them. The dogs are always attended to supervised. They clean up any messes right away. Other places have the dogs crates all day but not at Madison. My husband and I highly recommend Madison, it is the best place for day care and overnight boarding.

Every time we board our dogs here, they come home sick (either from eating something, or most recently with kennel cough). When it first opened, The Madison was immaculate, but now it's just stinky and rundown.

I have to say I’m really disappointed with the Madison. I was very happy to find a place that was clean and allowed me to watch my pup play while he was at doggy daycare. Here are a couple of red flags that brought me to write this review.On Monday I notified the employee that my mother in law was picking him up. I left his bag with toys, dinner and treats. I simply told the employee please give this bag to her when she picks up my pup. There was no directive to feed him. I received a message from my mother in law saying that his food and whole bag of treats were not in his bag. She called the Madison and they said they fed him lunch and he ate all of his treats. #1 Why are they going through his bag. #2 Why would you give him lunch at 12:30 and feed him ALL of his treats! Most dogs do not eat 3 meals a day. I get there’s certain circumstances, but I never told them to feed him.He’s a 10 Month old Mini-Aussiedoodle. He was going to the Madison for about 2 months. I found that he wasn’t very excited to go. I began watching a little more closely. There were many times I couldn’t find him with the pack and wondered where he could be. On Tuesday Around 8:30AM - a half hour after I dropped him off - I decided to watch a little more closely. He wasn’t with the pack. I looked to right where the kennels are and I saw his head popping up and down. Thought that maybe he needed a break and that’s why he was in there. ( not sure why because there were only 4-5 pups in it at that time anyway) Then it turned into 45 mins he was in there. I called immediately and told them I want him with the pack - he’s there to learn to socialize not be kept in a kennel. I was told the staff wasn’t able to be with the pack because they were cleaning, he has a lot of energy and needs to be watched. Isn’t that what I pay for - shouldn’t they always be supervised? Also, if my pup is having issues with the pack, I should be made aware. Each time I picked him up I was told he was great and such a happy pup. The owner called me directly and heard my concerns, but did not offer a solution to the situation.Again, I am really disappointed and was really hopeful to find a state of the art doggy daycare. He will not be returning.* UPDATE* How unprofessional ! What was just stated by the owner was NEVER communicated to me. If my puppy was showing ‘aggression’ - which he has never done before- why wasn’t I told? Never ONCE did anyone say he was ‘mounting’ other dogs. Had I known this I would have contacted my vet immediately.I’m sure this ‘behavior’ you speak of could have stopped if the dogs were being MONITORED, WATCHED in a pack and TAUGHT the right behavior. Not just leaving dogs to play on their own for hours. Just like a child going to daycare. You are there to learn from example, not from ISOLATION. If you don’t have the staff to watch the pack because their cleaning - hire more staff. That’s what we pay for. Thanks for making my decision even easier to not return AND to never recommend.

We recently rescued a dog with an unknown past. She is super sweet to people but does not know how to act around other large dogs. The Madison handles her social difficulties and is able to give our dog the activity that she needs when we cannot provide it.

Our dog has not stayed here, because when we visited for doggie compatibility testing, no one wanted to show us the facilities. No one seemed proud of what they had to offer, and 100 pct of the staff we saw appeared high school aged; no experienced dog handlers were visible.
