Went there for our first time yesterday with my daughter nd grands what a wonderful garden center ! The new owners Adam nd Heather are so wonderful, nice nd knowledgeable prices are so reasonable we will definitely go back ! Oh nd the grands had a great time ! They can’t wait to go back , we highly recommend!!!!

I went to Popes' for the first time to attend a container garden class. It was very fun and it won't be my last! Joan was friendly and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions. The tables were spread out and the flower choices and colors were plentiful. I made a beautiful container garden that will attract butterflies. They have a very good selection of all kinds of flowers, herbs, and shrubs to purchase. The prices there were very reasonable.

I have been shopping at Pope’s for almost 20 years. i love their vast knowledge of everything they sell. As well as their treasure trove if native plants. I just ran there today in hopes to find a shrimp plant. Which I did!! Thank you guys for being my go too flower place. I appreciate your hard work and value your expertise.I highly recommend checking it out if u have never been. You will not be disappointed!

I've been going to Joan Pope's for years. She is a wonderful, friendly and most knowledgeable person and they promote family outings to their nursery and small animal farm. Her husband Jim is always Mr. Busy but he keeps a well organized and safe environment at their property. Their plants are always in great shape and their small store is well stocked with garden accessories.

Well I was told this JoanHas Retired by one person who was working the Regester today,Unlike Joan I asked a question where a certen plant was the reply that I got was, I DON'T KNOW YOU WILL HAVE TO Look, well I am Handicap and I can't walk to far I thought to myself. I love this place! It's close to home. The prices are great & there is always a special on a lot of flowers buy one get one. Daisy coupons was a very nice touch. Infact I'm headed there right now for some mums.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Plants are extremely well priced, definitely recommend over a chain store. They also carry and label native plants. They may not have the species commonly sold at the big stores but they have beautiful and interesting alternatives.

Excellent Nursery with so many beautiful plants, shrubs, etc to choose from (hard to find plants as well). I'm beyond pleased with all of the flowers I purchased from Popes and I can't even begin to express what a lovely, knowledgable and helpful lady that Mrs Pope is. Always greets with a smile and works so hard with everything she does. Popes is the ONLY nursery I'll go to and well worth the drive. Plus, they have the most adorable farm animals to visit, including the gorgeous and friendly goat, Daisy. Love it here and so will you... don't forget to visit with the animals and happy plant shopping to all!Barbi Marino

I have never been to Popes' Garden and called to get more information about their "petting zoo". The woman on the phone was so dismissive. I wasn't even on the phone with her very long (< 1 minute) and she said "I have customers. Bye" and hung up. I will not be coming here after that. You don't speak to someone that way, period. Especially a potential customer. I would give zero stars if I could for ignorance.EDIT 5/12/2022:"One star for something free seems excessive." I wouldn't know that the "petting zoo" is free. I called for information and was rudely rushed off the phone. It's not about if something is free or not. I rated Pope's Gardens based off my only encounter with an employee from this business. From your reply it seems you are either the employee I am referring to or it's the company culture that's an issue. What's the saying? The fish rots from the head down...

Haven’t been in years. I found them pricey and some of plants for 3for $12 quite small. I felt bad for chickens stuffed in small cages, it was sad that o me. They also have coupons on line and no one asked. I won’t go back again.

Beautiful flowers and great prices. They have every type of flowers, plants, shrubs, vines, etc you could possible want. Also, there are many animals so take your kids with you and enjoy.

Visit Popes to find traditional and unusual annuals, perennials, shrubs, hostas, fruit trees and fruit bushes. Great selection and low prices. The owners are knowledgeable and helpful. They have unique animals on display that the kids love and two sweet labs to pet, or not pet, as suits you. A south Jersey treasure.

Thank goodness popes is still open during covid!!! I went yesterday hoping to find a not so common blue salvia and they not only had it but great sized plants in 4” pots that were pinched back and will explode in my garden. THEY ALWAYS HAVE WHAT IM LOOKING FOR, even when its uncommon. Great annuals, lots of sweet tender perennials, i even got a black kale variety ive never heard of, thats surprising as im a mean plant nerd, lol. They are worth the drive every time, A REAL GEM. MUST CHECK THEM OUT!!!

Their prices are way more expensive than other places and their customer service is horrible the old lady and old man were the worst miserable old couple I've ever seen if you hate your job that much just go do something else.. but you're probably be miserable at that too. This place was much worse then the last owners!! To bad!! Don't bother going here!!

This place is absolutely worth a visit. The prices are very reasonable but the VARIETY is awesome. They also have an assortment of super fun livestock to visit.
