Jalil here in Watchung was incredibly attentive, kind, and able to immediately help.A short story: I pulled into the pickup parking spot and was having trouble with the app and logging in with the pickup details. He noticed and quickly came to my rescue, found my order and brought it out to me minutes later.So if you’re keeping track, he’s doing his job quickly, by KINDLY and gently making sure that people aren’t incorrectly using the pickup spot, keeping the spots clear for other folks to come pickup. He also recognized a customer and took care of it in record time.Walmart please take notice, this is the guy you hire, promote, and make the face of the organization if you want positive impressions.

First time at this location and was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. Purchased some items, one being a streaming device for a TV. Called an employee over to get one of the cheaper streaming sticks since they’re locked in a case. I paid for it and continued my shopping. The box made a lot of noise, which I figured was just the loose device and didn’t think much of it. Finished my shopping at Walmart and went to other stores around the area as well. Went back to my hotel around 8pm or so, getting ready to put this to use. Upon opening I get my own surprise. Apparently I purchased an overpriced flavored liquid enhancer. I tried calling the store’s electronic department, which took about 7 calls on my phone alone. Once the employee picked up, I told them about the situation to which they said if I came at the time, customer service may be closed already and to try the next day to return it. So I go back to the store the next day and they go check their security footage and basically tell me they can’t do anything since it was locked up and it would have not been possible for that to occur. It just surprised me that they would think someone trying to fool them in a return would tell them of the item inside. If that occurred within a locked case, I’d be more concerned of the type of employees working. Unfortunately, I learned that once you cross that door and something similar occurs, you’re probably already at a loss. For products like that, I learned to open before I leave the store.

I absolutely love Walmart. It's the only store I'll volunteer to go to with the wife and kids. My wife spends an absurd amount of time in every store while I like to get what I need and hit the check out isle.

On Christmas Eve the store was supposed to close at 6:00 pm, was posted on the door, and on the website. This manager in black and red and his cronies behind him stopped letting people in over 10 minutes before closing. Shouldn't they have been helping customers inside rather than playing security at the door? They had no regard for customers trying to grab last minute things who went out of their way to get there before 6:00 pm. A store should allow customers in until closing and then lock the door. It was the worst customer service I ever received, tryin to get into a store 10 minutes before closing on Christmas Even and being turned away after trying to explain how unfair it was the door was locked.

This is a pretty good location. Although it is not one of the 'super centers' it still has a lot to offer and a good selection of different items. It opens early and they close late so that helps when trying to avoid large crowds. The workers keep it pretty well stocked and it's a relatively clean store. The workers themselves are helpful and knowledgeable in their areas. If they aren't then you either have to come back or try to find someone else. The lines move pretty well depending on what time of day you get there. Prepare to wait a little longer on the weekends and during the evenings on weekdays. The selection is what you would expect and sometimes you get great deals here and there. Overall not a bad store and I would visit again.

I did my very first curbside pickup. The staff at this Walmart, lead by Simone is nothing short of exceptional!!! They are literally in the trenches with Pickup Drivers yelling and carrying on, and impatient customers! This staff stayed calm and professional. I had a 20 minute observation, but would absolutely go back during a quieter time during the day.

I just came back from this Walmart. They have taken multiple safety measures to make sure people can walk inside the store and shop without any problems. Their customer service and the quality and variety of items is extraordinary. Cuddles to all employees and managenent!

There are so many things you can get here like clothes for kids women and men, holiday decorations furniture pans microwaves, nice electronics they also give you school supplies party supplies,snacks, candy, food frozen food, drinks ice cream they also have bikes games for kids and balls for any sport, thru sometimes have fishing rods , and they also have watches chains for everyone car supplies for cleaning and maintenance like windshield wipers, gas tanks, tire cleaners, soap and much more, all of they're workers are very nice and helpful. They have self checkout lines which are pretty easy to use.

It might be that it's not a "Supercenter" but it doesn't have a lot of products you find anywhere else. Some things as basic as fruits are missing without saying other lack of stock. In addition, the staff had the worst behavior when I was asking about products, bad customer service. And even its Subway had the least flavor I've tried with the brand. Look anywhere else if you can.

I USED to dread going to Watchung Walmart because EVERY employee had an attitude in which they treated me like complete garbage, any employee was unapproachable and made you feel like you were bothering them. But I decided to try to shop here again for Christmas this year and see if anything changed. And INDEED, it DEFINITELY DID!!👏💯👍🤩🤗 Hopefully they started taking some of their reviews seriously and decided a complete change NEEDS to happen. I went to this location on or about December 20, 2023 and it seemed any employee who I encountered that day was courteous, polite, attentive to my needs or concerns, anxious to solve my issue or locate employee/manager who could help me. It felt like a completely different place than I've ALWAYS shopped at for many years, where customers had to accept the horrible service because there isn't a whole lot of choices in nearby Walmart locations, without driving a long distance and in a lot of traffic.So I'm absolutely thrilled that they finally made a change for the better!! I'm now able to shop here once again and not be afraid of asking an employee a question without getting scolded like a child. Now I feel great knowing Watchung Walmart has hired energetic, competent, compassionate people who really care about the customers. Great job, Walmart!!☺️🛍️🛒🏷️💪🌟👌

It's an absolute zoo I believe the animals that are in the zoo are more civilized. Seek out a different Walmart where they don't have nasty and unintelligent people working and shopping there

I went to purchase dog food today and when I got to the register, I had to swipe my card three times in order to purchase my item. The lady at the cash register said that it had to be swiped three times in order for it to go through this seems very unusual, and the lady in front of me was even alarmed when she was told to swipe her card three times. This is unacceptable. The store manager is never in the store there’s no assistant manager there’s some young kid who doesn’t even have an ID saying that he is loss prevention. Everything is ran so unprofessional the employees don’t even know where their manager is. No one knows anything this is unacceptable and poor customer service . The store does not even deserve one star but unfortunately, in order to leave a review, you have to click a star. I was very uncomfortable making my purchase today.

It's a Walmart like anyone would expect. They have plenty of items and a lot of stock, however we're trying to navigate to the store is a pain because there are so many associates putting together orders get more often than not you're running into them instead of customers.So you think "Fine well they're helping customers so they're doing the job that needs to be done." And yes well that is true the the problem really becomes apparent when you get to the registers to find out there wasn't a single human cashier available!! Every single time we use these stupid checkouts there's always an issue!!"Please remove item from bagging area,""Please do not remove item from bagging area.""An associate will be here to help you in a minute."Why don't we just start with the associate and skip the self checkout!

I find my way to this store on a regular basis these days! I appreciate how well stocked this store is, and helpful their staff is. The app on my phone makes it even easier to get the items I need.

Very clean and organized Walmart, always pretty stocked and fast checkout time, only gripe is the prices are a bit high, might just be inflation. another issue is the layout of the store leads to a lot of congestion esp w people w their carts, the main food/beauty isles are the in the middle and use the same passageway as the entrance and the checkouts so it gets messy, also the asile space to walk through is way too thin, it’s hard to get around people because of the carts etc, I think that’s a high level issue that makes the experience stressful. I end up going to the target nearby because of this usually.

Update. I won't be returning to this location.... im.not sure why but eveytime I come here tge last 2 week electronics has been a mess... I wanted ink and it was innthw wrong spot the store manager had to walk with me to make sure I wasn't lying... and I wasn't I took pictures and she had a meeting with the team that worked that section. Happened again on Sunday wrong spot. This time he didn't wanna give it to me but it was the stores fault again.I've been here 3 times and I can say this Walmart is more organized than any other walmart ive been to except 1 in Ny... With all that is going on you get in fast and everything is in place and the workers are nice they don't have attitudes like you asking them something is a problem.

Coach Derrick was incredibly helpful in helping me find materials for my daughter school project (that’s due tomorrow might I say!😬😱). He made finding everything I need painless and quick. Even gave me a few ideas . I would definitely recommend everyone to come here because the customer service was great and the shelves were well stocked.

This walmart here is very unorganized. Im a former walmart dedicated driver but this store. This store had me waiting over 3 hours to get loaded. they only had one worker to load me alone.but management had over 6 to 7 workers to unloaded a walmart trailer.
