Had a horrible experience at the quick check in Washington,NJ. I was purchasing from this store and they gave me a hard time with regards to purchasing some cigarettes and the sad part is they weren’t for me. Now several other people came up afterwards and the cashier didn’t question them with regards to not showing an id, I am A.A. and everyone else was white.When I asked further they shared its a policy to card everyone and when I pointed out that while waiting for my food I observed several purchases no ID required, the manager said that she may have known the other three or four people. Now I’ve been to this store several times and it has never been an issue. When I spoke to two separate people the policy changed and Katie shared they can use their discretion which is different than what was shared. So when I asked if I could see the policy due to how many different things they all were saying she said not wasn’t posted in the store or on the website. So I asked her for corporate number and guess what she said that’s it no point because it only going to get kicked back to me. I said ma’am I would just like to see the policy that says that the cashiers have discretion…. She was very cocky and snarky. I am sure that the policy says everyone should be showing ; I am following up and I’ll provide an update….. I’m curious to see what this policy says, I doubt that’s the language…

Never have issues here. Friendly staff and awesome subs.Update 2024: Come on, who does this? The sandwich making skills are really lacking. Never had a problem before, but lately, it seems as if these newer employees are super lazy. Very disappointed.

This quickchek used to be good. But never purchase food or specialty drinks from there past 10pm. Every time i order, my food is always messed up in the wildest ways possible. For instance, just ordered a frozen shake from here about 30 minutes ago and at the bottom, i found 5 giant icecubes that had not been blended into my drink. Awful.

What company sets up an interview for someone, has all your information in front of you, show up and they tell you we aren’t giving it to you, because you had an interview a year ago and couldn’t do those hours….way to waste my time and my gas…..worst of all it wasn’t my interview but my car and gas was used. These companies can do anything they want, cuz we are numbers and not people…..let’s not shop here and shut the place down. Oh but it’s quickchek so that’s won’t happen.This shows negligence in knowing how to run a business from the standpoint of Donna Kain. She is fired or I bring civil suite. Thank you.

This place has the worst deli I have ever seen. I've never seen so many consistent messed up orders than I have from this store.Here's a picture of the sandwich i got. I tried to pick it up and it just fell apart onto my plate and floor. Tried to make it somewhat presentable

Gas is low tier. Turns check engine lights on. Sparse choices on what they have. And the sandwiches...pffttt go some place else because they are either falling apart or not made correctly. This place is not quick. I think this is the worst quick chek I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. 000/10 do not recommend

Who puts huge whole slices of tomato on a hot dog? I also asked for ketchup and it barely had any ketchup whatsoever... if you can't prepare a hot dog correctly, something is wrong. Watch out what you order at this quick check. Yikes

Wish we got a Wawa instead! The coffee bar is disgusting and is never restocked! I have to walk across the store to the fridge to get my own creamer! I’m not lazy but C’mon it’s called 𝘘𝘶𝘪𝘤𝘬Check!

Best employees ever at this Quick Check location! Everyday this people make my morning! All the time polite and caring! Thank you guys! You are doing a great job!!!P.S. After new owner took over this QC went down the hill! First of all all great stuff left this place and now it’s all new employees here who have no idea what they doing, cursing at work right in front of customers, have no clue and care what they doing! Every order messed up! Super dirty! All the time out of a lot of things like lids, straws, bread, milk. I have no idea who is the manager there but this is just ridiculous and this person should be fired!

I’m a daily customer at quick check Washington. This is literally the worse location by far. All self check outs are card only. There is one cash lane which is also the lottery lane you will sit in line for at least 5 mins minimum waiting to pay cash. This location has just remodeled and it is actually worse as far as checking out. There is nothing convenient about this place. Employees are rude and never even offer a alternative lane.This is the same both early morning and dinner time. Shelves are rarely stocked and will remain empty for days. Pepsi products are generally out of stock. Hot sandwiches are either cold or burned and this has nothing to do with covid either has been that way for years. I literally choose an alternative store most days if possible. I am very disappointed and do not recommend this location

Coffee bar is missing things half the time. They only have 1 register for cash paying, lottery, cigarettes etc. There can be a huge line and they never open another register. Then the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. They have a sheet that says it was checked but it was only checked off. No soap in either dispenser, towels empty, paper all of stalls and toilets disgusting, floor not mopped. Just horrible

I went there a few weeks ago and ordered cheese fries. I don't eat red meat or bacon. I made sure I didn't get bacon on them put when I was about to eat them they had bacon on them. I then went there today and ordered my usual Caesar salad. When I took my first bite there was onions in it and I don't like onions. Then, there was spinach when I ordered it with romaine lettuce. But then, I took a bite and there was a hair.

Its almost like the person who made my sub has ever made a sub before let alone eaten a sub. All the onions were clumped together at the end of the roll, same for the pickles but at the front, finally my spinach was sprinkled on top with no effort to put it in the sandwich. I usually love quickchek but this def made me realize not all quickcheks are made even.

Qc has turned down the wrong road. Management sucks and is extremely rude. Store managers shouldn’t have a job. They don’t care about the customer and get flustered and yell at customers. How they are “managers” I don’t know. Various people I know by name there are extremely rude. They actually get angry when you want to be checked out by someone rather then using the fast lane. Once a regular. Won’t go back. Wawa is better.

I generally like quick check I went to this quick check yesterday and ordered a custom fresh made salad I'm giving this one star only because the salad made me deathly sick for 2 days and I've never had that problem before.

Horrible to say the least, I drove 5 miles to the quick chek on Saturday 6/24/17 @ 6:45pm and ordered a sub sandwich when I got home I opened it up it fell apart, the bread was ripped apart into pieces and tasted like it was a day old, dried out. The meat was not fresh cut that to was dried out, she just thru it together. They make the stuff behind a counter that hides them from your view, had I was able to see what they were doing I would have told her to shove it up there your know what. Very poor quality, I will not be going back there. Horrible, horrific and horrifying that they could serve something like that.

Just got a sub and I’m not sure if I’m just being picky but the roll was quite dry and stale tasting. It fell apart so I just gave up. The sandwich’s are a hit or miss with this store. Assuming it depends on which employees are working. I’m not lying when I say I miss the old quickchek!

Walked into this quick check and the music is blasting employees singing and using the microphone phone that they use to call another employee as a microphone to sing along just totally floored me!! The store is managed by young immature employees!! Sad because elders and disabled go into this store and don’t need to deal with that garbage !! I understand having a good time but please remember you are not at home!! Disgusting

I went to the actual cashier to be rung up instead of the self serve machines. Sometimes I like to talk to real people. The cashier explained to me that I can ring myself up. And I said I’d like to be rung up here. And then she told me that when she’s busy doing something else I should use the self serve machines. It’s unfortunate that your employee was too busy to help a customer. The customers are ones that keep your business booming. I won’t be going to this quickchek again.

I'd give them no stars if I could. They're rude and disrespectful. They make fun of people with disabilities. The managers don't care when the fast lanes go down as they've yelled "nobody cares" when the person up front calls for someone to come up to fix them because it owes a customer change. It's a very corrrupt corporation.

I have been going to QuickCheks for over 20 years. During the past several years, while ordering an Original Sub, I ALWAYS ask for the pepper ham to be replaced by boiled ham. Yesterday at this location I was told my the manager on duty that this was not allowed or "I (manager) would get fired". I pointed out that the pepper ham was more expensive so I was actually saving QuickChek money, but he still denied my request and restated that is he did this he would get fired. I will not use this location again. Do yourself a favor and choose the White township location on Route 46!

The staff here were a pleasant surprise, friendly and helpful. The subs were made just the way I wanted and the billing and checkout systems were super quick. Pleasant surprise indeed!

Gas attendants constantly block off the end pump lanes and diesel pumps with cones because they lack the help or are too lazy to walk. That leaves just 2 diesel pumps in that station which is ridiculous and no place for trailers to access. And every time I come in with a trailer I move the cones myself so I can get fuel...the attendants get mouthy now that they have to walk an extra couple feet. Get your employees in line or get rid of them.

Don't even attempt to get any of their hot food customized, they won't do it. Huge waste of money. But at least they have a bathroom you can use while traveling.
