I was next door at DMV today and noticed this shop. As soon as I came i noticed the vast assortment of fish and how well taken care they were. They also had a nice assortment of plants and frozen food. The person in charge was super nice and helpful. This store is definitely a must for any aquarium enthusiast.

I've been here a couple times to get plants and had a great experience. The plants themselves where beautiful and high quality for a good price. The owner is also a really nice guy and super helpful, both times I was there he answered all my questions and then some. They have a huge selection of fish and plants, would recommend people check it out.

Exotic Aquatics is an amazing store if you’re looking for fresh or saltwater fish, tanks, stands and supplies.Miguel and his mom are extremely knowledgeable people.They ordered me a new 65 gallon tank and stand and it came in on the day it was supposed to.They walked us thru step by step how to change from our 20 gallon salt water tank to the new one and it worked out perfectly.They have a nice store with everything you need to enjoy the fresh or salt water hobby.Thanks again exotic Aquatics

Very helpful store. When I originally bought my fish on Wednesday June 22nd I ran into some issues caused by me being a first time fish mom. And I lost 3 of my Cardinal Tetras, which the owner offered to replace for free. The owner was very helpful and informative on how to fix stuff for the future which was very helpful. The following day June 23rd I came in to replace the couple fish I lost and get some new ones. The manager on duty Michael was very helpful and explained more in depth of how to acclimate my fish properly. Definitely will be coming back. Very happy I was able to support a small buisness that actually cares about there fish.

We have frequented all the aquarium stores in this region. We regularly travel an hour plus to some of the larger shops with more variety. But not anymore! This store is fantastic. Their livestock selection is truly impressive. We know a lot about fish keeping and we were looking for some unique fish for our large freshwater tank and this store offered us some amazing options. The tanks are spotless and all is well maintained. We selected two fish and they are both thriving. I recommend this store 100%. Also, the owners Mom was watching over the store the day we came in and she was awesome! Friendly and really thoughtful in bagging up the fish and getting them ready for the ride home. I could tell she really took pride in the store and making our experience top notch. I, for one, love family businesses!

I love this store. The selection is fantastic and everyone is always friendly. I came in today to browse and Turner talked to me while working on the tanks. He was so friendly and I ended up having him help me pick out a snail and a hermit crab for my saltwater tank. I can't wait to go back and have him help me pick out more fishy friends next time.

Super Friendly staff. Went in looking for a specific filter and was guided to a different one, which I am very pleased with (keeps my tank super clean). The manager was very helpful and friendly and definitely has a lot of expertise in this field. After my purchase I went to just walk around and look at the fish and they have so many unique fish that I have never seen before. I highly recommend going here.

This place is simply amazing!!! The tanks are immaculate!!! The fish are healthy! Took fish home and put them right in our tanks and they did great, didn t even quarantine them. The owner and his mom are fantastic! Helpful, knowledgeable and thorough, what more could you ever ask for?!

Michael the manager was super helpful and knowledgeable. The entire staff was fantastic. They are experts and had tons of patience helping me understand what I needed to setup my new 75 gallon tank.Their fish tanks are super clean and they have an amazing selection. All there tanks are individually filtered to avoid cross contamination which is pretty standard in most pet stores.This is the only place I will purchase fish from now on.Highly recommend.

Mom was super friendly and so helpful both over the phone and in person. We drove all the way from PA for some desperately needed brine shrimp eggs for our baby axolotls. They have a great variety of both fresh and salt water fish. Everything looks clean and well cared for.

Decent selection of fish, but the prices are kind of insane. I ended up buying the fish I needed online from a reputable online fish retailer and even with shipping costs I still saved $40 than if I bought them here. Also saw a few dead fish in the aquariums.

Always have a great experience shopping at Exotic. Miguel (owner) and Mike (manager) are both friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and helpful. They have helped me plan out and stock both my 29 and 75 gallon tanks. The selection is great and if they don't have what you are looking for they are usually able to order it. I initially checked out the store based on a friend's recommendation and I plan to continue shopping here for all of my fish and aquarium needs.

The fish are beautiful and the place is really clean but they’re charging $10 for guppies that you could buy for two dollars at Petsmart. We got to the register and didn’t even realize how expensive the fish were and the owners response was well you should’ve checked the price. We won’t be back

I'm so happy I found this store! I originally came in looking for some aquatic plants for my first planted tank and was blown away at the selection and knowledgeable, helpful staff. I was honestly expecting a few varities of plants before I came in, but loved that I had a lot of options for healthy plants. The staff were also able to answer all my questions about lighting options and plants that would thrive with the level of lighting I was going for. All their fish looked very happy and healthy, and after letting my tank cycle I got some fish from here. The staff was super helpful with my stocking questions, too, and all my fish made it home and are thriving. This is my go-to fish store from now on, and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for fish or aquatic plants.

The absolute best tropical fish store there is! The quality of their stock is unsurpassed and the staff are not only amazing but very knowledgeable. He offered to special order and ship fish, food (including frozen) and whatever else I needed to my front door, even though I’m only 2 hours away. I was very happy that there is an aquarium fish store nearby. Support small business is so important these days. I decided to restart a tank after 15 years. I didn't forget everything but, needed to be updated. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They have an array of different saltwater and freshwater fish. If they don't have something in stock they do order it. I've also contacted the store via email and had a response in less than 24 hours. Thanks for a great job.

Exotic Aquatics has a very good selection of fresh and salt water fish, and healthy live plants too. Also, they're willing to order what you're looking for. Glad we have such a nice, local aquarium store.
