Trickery ice cream cake for 30 bucks. Disappointed in the quality of this item, labeled and placed next to the carvel ice cream cake, like it’s a similar item. Far from it. Biggest disappointment ever. After those slices and freezer burnt flavor, right in the trash. 👎

I rarely write reviews unless the service is horrible or exceptional, and today was the former, just awful.I have been a Loyal ACME customer for many years, but I will NEVER go back here. If you ever need clarification or have to deal with the manager, he treats you like trash.I wanted clarification on their gift card policy, and understand certain procedures are in place to ensure security, but I have been getting gift cards here paying via Apple Pay many-a-time, but only today was told this is not sanctioned, not allowed, even if I can prove I am the card holder with ID (which doesn't make sense additionally because I pay all my groceries there with Apple Pay no issues, and ACME/Albertsons allows you to buy gift cards online with stuff like PayPal)While I would rather pay with Apple Pay because it does not directly give the merchant my credit card and personal info that can be exposed in a security breach (which they originally tried to lie to me about), I was prepared to accept that I needed to abide by this policy, ...... but, the smug matter-of-fact, I-don't-give-an-F attitude the manager displayed, this is the epitome of poor customer service, I have no idea how such a person gets hired in such a customer service role, this is a poor reflection of ACME.The local ShopRite exhibits superior customer service than this, I will divert my shopping money there.

Very clean store . Great customer service . I usually only shop there once in a while Because it’s in Warren But I’ve found the employees to be respectful and friendly and helpful I usually have to ask what isles something in and One of the staff walks me to the isle The store manager is very friendly too .. And the guy on the carts is extremely sweet .I only have positive feedback from this store to say . Great job with training these employees and making customers feel appreciated

This the second time I visited Acme. The first time was about 20 years ago at the location not far away from this one. That one closed long time ago. In my impression, Acme was small.. This one at Warrenville is medium size, neat and clean. Not a crowded grocery shopping environment....

I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Im not going to bore you with it. Instead Ill give you a tip. This place has got the best flowers around. Great selection, beautiful arrangements. This is the service and dedication you can expect at this Acme location. Imagine the rest of the store. Thank you guys and gals. ;)

Just like other grocery stores, coupons are very tricky, I can never get the sale prices as in ads, even with app. Why not just be honest with straight forward prices.update. I really appreciate the manager's reply. I have no complaint about the store stuff. I just hope shopping there could be easier, not frustrating. The coupons are too complicated. paper versions, electronic ones, match flavor and size......very confusing 😕

I like this store a lot. Prices are reasonable as there are often good sales. It’s a nicely maintained store and if I ever need to ask an employee for help, they are helpful and knowledgeable.

While it's not quite the small neighborhood Acme that I used to have here in Middlesex, it still is a very nice store with nice people. I found everything that I was looking for. Some of the people are from the Middlesex store that closed some time ago.

Acme's response is amusing. After wasting time twice with Customer Service and not having the issue corrected despite being assured it was, I was told the matter was escalated and that I would get a call back. Of course, that never happened.Original Post:Digital coupons regularly do not "work", and repeatedly calling Acme's Customer Service to correct the problem is a total exercise in futility.Since I don't want to hold up the ever-present line of customers at the check out while the non-functioning digital coupons are entered manually, I've decided to stop shopping there.Acme's response is amusing. I’ve come here a couple a times a week to Acme Warren but I have to admit I’ll be taking my business someplace else. The people who work there are very unfriendly and are always in a bad mood. If I ask a question they look annoyed. And the cashier name MIKE is the worst. Always has an attitude. Ive tried to avoid him at all cost. But it never fails he is rude and condescending to all his customer.

This Acme store is not a honest business. I purchased some food items that’s on special. At the checkout counter I show the cashier my cell phone for her to scan the membership card, she hesitated and said it’s no needed. I asked without scanning the card , do I still get the sale prices? She said yes. But when I come home and check the receipt. I found that some items was charged regulate price instead of the special price shown in the store. In the store they have pineapple on special for 99 cent each with digital coupon. My wife loaded the digital coupon to our account. Also they supposed to deduct $1 off for any produce, $1 off any organic product. The receipt doesn’t show any deductions. So I called and talked to the manager Joe. He refused to give me the refund on my credit card. He insisted that I have to go back to the store for refund. I told him for a lousy $3.50 , it’s worth my driving back and forth. I would not buy from this Acme store anymore. Their prices are mostly higher than other supermarkets.

I want to ask you why your prices are so high? 4 days ago I bought 4 hamburger from your store . It was $9.99 . The two top one was fresh but the two bottom one was black, I through them out. Today I bought hamburger from Trader joes, all of the four hamburgers are fresh and price is $6.99.I am close to ACME but I try not to buy from you unless I am in a hurry. And its not just me everybody I talk to, they say your prices are high and your merchandise are not good.

Having lived in the area for over 50 years I have visited this store in its many reincarnations. I shopped here today and checked the ACME app for digital coupons and save quite a bit -$1 off on any produce, and manderines were on sale too, and $5 off any order over $5- can't beat that. My favorite cereal Grainberry was on sale too. Unfortunately they were out of stoc on another favorite Signature Java chip ice cream

Seven registers but always only one ( 1 ) that is open with 4 to 5 Customers waiting with full carts ready to checkout. I understand the self checkout for a few items but not cart full of items. I guess I am missing something! Customers want to do their shopping and then checkout, not waste time waiting and this is certainly not the first time that this has happened to me or other Customers.

The Acme in Warren, NJ is in a great and easy location to get to with a HUGE parking lot to make access to the store within a short distance for those who can not walk far. This store packs a lot of options - it is not a small specialty store. The store is clean and the checkouts well managed.

I go here every Sunday to do my shopping for the week. Bagels are the best around even better then local bakeries to me anyway. It's never to crowded staff is friendly and pretty fair prices especially for the area.

Workers are nice and I’m usually happy with this store. The cashier forgot to pack 3 items I paid for in a $200 order. I called the store immediately when I was at home putting away my groceries. Nothing was found. And they did not offer anything to rectify this.

The one in Middlesex was better. This store is always low on stock for many items and atmosphere is not nice! Very snooty negative vibe!!! But there are a few employees there that are nice

Rude deli person, I asked to see the meat I was purchasing and she holds up a plastic bag instead of showing me the cut side so i can see how lean it was. She was rude when i asked for the price and she cut alnost 1/4 lb more than I asked for on both items i requested.Cashier woman was very nice.

They always seem to have great sales.The hours recently changed. It is now 7am - 10pm everyday.If your are getting something from the deli make certain you go there before 7pm even though they advertise open till 8pm.

This store Is 5min.from my house so I love the convenience. Store is clean and items are easy to find. The staff is extremely helpful and there certainly is ample parking. The one complaint I have is that Acme seems to push their products. They give you one or two at the most of other products to choose from.

2 cashier's. 4-5 people waiting in line. Cashiers very slow. Waiting 10 minutes Issues with expiration dates in this store. Watch your dates! Oh produce: Check your yellow onion. They sat there so long they are starting to grow! Back on 5/9/19. Expired yogurt. Left at courtesy. Poor quality control. Stopped in 11/1/19 for a few things. Cashier was blowing her nose then proceeded to start scanning my items. Had to wash everything when I got home! Really! Learn proper hygiene! Disgusting!

I was at this location last week and was surprised that as sound system is urging customers to be courteous and wear a mask for those who aren't vaccinated or have immune issues an Acme employee walks down the aisle loudly proclaiming her joy of not wearing one as she walked behind the counter of the bakery section. That caught my attention. I heard another employee speaking but when he emerged from the back he was not wearing a mask or hair net for bushy mustache. I put my bakery items back. I later contacted Acme to find out their policy and was told my concerns would go to the manager as well as corporate. Very disappointing to not hear back from either. I don't mind employees not handling food not wearing masks but an employee that handles food should at minimum have a hair net for their facial hair. That's just basic health code.
