We were looking for some fresh cannoli’s and was told to check this place out, we were hungry and decided to stay for dinner. This is an amazing one stop everything Italian locale on the south Jersey shore. You can get fresh made heroes, salads, cold cuts, pizza, pastries and gelato, all to go , but what really makes this place special is that they have table service adjacent to the market with a full Italian menu. We were courteously seated and treated with very friendly and attentive service. We were first served some warm and fresh Italian bread, brought all the way from Staten Island, that was followed by an order of exquisite fried calamare, fresh, tender and crispy, served with a spicy marinara. For our main meal we had the fresh sautéed scallops with risotto which were cooked perfectly and, I tried the veal parmigiana which easily surpassed my standards for an Italian restaurant. There was no room for desserts but I will be trying the cannolis which we took home. I am sure that we will back soon to this solid locale.

Love taking a ride to dine here. Food service and atmosphere is always amazing and always leave with a good feeling. Owners stop by table to check on you but do NOT hang on you like somePlaces. Specials are also excellent! We even got an unreal sandwich for dinner because looked so good. Def worth a ride and try!!

Loved everything about this place. Server was on the job, friendly, attentive, and efficient. Ordered the best Italian wedding soup I’ve ever tasted. Chicken parm dinner included pasta, bread, and salad with balsamic dressing. All very good and authentic Italian. Prices are decent. Portions were large enough to take half home for another meal. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Also has a Italian market attached.

Had a wonderful family dinner tonight for my daughter and father-in-law's shared birthday. We were a large group with many family coming from out of state and the staff were very attentive, it was a wonderful experience. We order in from Zanos all the time or pop into the market; this was our first time dining in. Highly recommend the stuffed artichokes (mine and my daughter's favorite), the stuffed zucchini blossoms, stuffed mushrooms and calamari! Everyone's entree was delicious and presented beautifully, which on a super busy Saturday night was impressive. Our server Emily went above and beyond to make sure we had all we needed and even put a candle in the desserts so we could sing. One of the owners even came by to check on us, not once but twice. We knew we loved Zano's but this just sealed the deal. Highly recommend!

I just had an event catered from Zano’s, one word, delicious! From the antipasto to the chicken parm and everything in between. The food was amazing! I’ve only been to there pizza parlor, Manzano’s, that pizza is on another level! They delivered the order to me in OA , nice and hot. I’ll definitely be coming back with my family for dinner soon. Great experience, from start to finish.

Went for their 'new' pizza place next door.Oh my it was SO good.Service excellent, chef even asked how I like my pizza cooked ( go med well).Prices fine, parking fine, truly recommend.

Went for the first time last night amd was not disappointed. There is a market/deli on the left and dining room on the right. Ordered a cold antipasto which was amazing. Dinners were Zuppa da Pesce, Eggplant Parm, and Mild Shrimp and Pasta. The portions were huge and excellent as was the service. Will definitely be back.

This is seriously the best place for authentic Italian food. You can even get fresh bread from Staten Island. The best part is that I can order food online for my friends and family when I am in the area. The owner is there all the time taking care of his people and food. Highly recommended if you are in the area and need some Italian food.

Terrible! I just ordered and brought home a whole italian hoagie. The bread was rock hard and could not even be eaten. It should have made good bread crumbs. But Zanos sold it to me all wrapped up until I got home. Had to throw it away after cutting the roof of my mouth first bite. Couldn’t find the salami,nor the cappacola. Very poor ingredients, along with brown shredded lettuce.First time for zanos take out and was my last. Will not recommend to anyone.

We had no idea we could dine here. So last Friday night at 5:45 we stopped in to have dinner. They asked if we had a reservation. We were like for here? They said we can't seat you in the dining room but you can be seated in the pizza part. But you can only have pizza. We didn't come to have pizza. So decided to give them another chance. So we made a Reservation for the next Friday same time. Walked in and the place was empty. The food was just OK. And the atmosphere a little odd. Not gonna go back. Although the service was good.

Reminded me of being back in the Bronx! Excellent service with even better food!!! I got a couple different sandwiches for my family and each one was delicious and packed with meat between the fresh bread! I got The Paisan and I couldn't believe how good it was... the picture alone is making my mouth water. I can't wait to come back... Excellent authentic Italian deli and cafe, I highly recommend.

Have been going to Zanos since it opened. In the past two years the quality has declined. I pushed it off to Covid. Tonight the mussels were in a yellow sauce that had no flavor so I cannot tell you the ingredients. The chicken saltibocca was in a heavy sauce. It was edible but nothing to talk about. This will be my last visit to this store. Liked you when you first opened

I went inside to ask if they were serving outside that evening & the waitress was rude & looked at me with daggers in her eyes. She said no because I am not going in & out when we are short staffed. She made me feel not welcomed. She didn't offer for me to eat inside or takeout. The manager/owner heard & did jump in & apologized for not being able to accommodate me. Food industries forget that they are also selling hospitality. Attitude does make a difference.

Delicious food, nice portions, servers polite and attentive .Edit to previous review went here frequently until I was overcharged $21.00 for takeout. When I arrived home, I called to question the charges. A very rude woman said I was given a large size piece of eggplant parmigian . 5X5 for $21.00Tony lost me as a customer.
