Definitely not my favorite CVS. Some of the associates are nice and friendly but there is this male associate that will ring you up and would not even bother to say hi nor thank you.

I have bronchitis, 4 hours after my dr prescribed my meds, still not ready! They never texted. When I called at 5pm; they said it wasn’t ready. When I went in person at 7:02pm, they’re closed. Google says they’re open! They changed their hours from 9pm to 7pm, yet they never updated Google. I called cvs barnegat, they said they couldn’t help me because waretown still processing my meds. I told the man who answered that I felt really sick. “There’s nothing I can do.” CVS: Unprofessional! Awful! ZERO stars!! Never again!!

Update 11/25/23 great people they work very hard to get things done give them a break they are trying to help you. Very friendly people back in the pharmacy. Clean store.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Jessica the pharmacist is one of the most uncompassionate health care professionals / customer service people I've ever met. I'm in my third trimester and she almost brought me to tears, twice, by being so nasty and uncompassionate. You can tell the other employees are overly stressed because of her as well - I switched to ShopRite pharmacy - like night and day. DONT GO HERE ITS AWFUL !!!

Incompetent and discourteous service by Ms Lopez RPH. Dr called script into CVS mid morning , with details left on pharmacy’s voicemail. By 2 pm CVS app and store voice prompt stated no orders in house. Dr called again at 2 pm. Made trip to store just after 2pm resulting in wrong antibiotic dispensed. Turns out the RPH nor staff neglected to get correct script off voicemail. Too busy to listen to voicemail for up to minute info. (Potentially dangerous practice).When I asked whether I should go home & come back,or wait, RPH angrily “I told you to wait ..,we can only do one thing at a time”.

My husband dropped of a prescription around 845 am. It was for my son who was just discharged from the hospital and needed his first dose immediately. They told him it would take an hour. He went back an hour later and it still was not filled. My husband said he would wait, but was told it was going to take another hour. His prescription was not filled until 12pm. We switched our pharmacy the next day. I also went a few days prior to pick up a few things we needed and went to get my 2 year old a metal car. The filth and dust was piled on the shelves. There was even a dead fly on the display stand, it was disgusting. I can say we will never go back.

You have the rudest cashiers! They seemed bothered when you wait for them at the register and then more annoyed if you use the check out register and it calls for assistance. Today,(Christmas Eve) the line was long and thinking I would be a help, I would use the self check out, I was totally wrong. The self check out wouldn’t register the items I was putting in the bags and keep saying standby for assistance. Your cashier ( older lady, blonde, and smelled like she just got off her cigarette break) was super annoyed and had an attitude. After the 3rd time, I apologized for the inconvenience and said “ just thought me getting off the line would help and give you guys a break.” She said “ Next time don’t try and help us!” You might want to re-evaluate and change your process on hiring.

The woman behind the pharmacy counter (has tattoos on her arms) was beyond unpleasant. She was rude and yelled at me over the speaker phone. There’s NO reason or excuse to yell ESPECIALLY when your pharmacy said my medication will be ready in 45 minutes and it wasn’t. ESPECIALLY when you’re dealing with ILL people. Shame on you!

CVS is the best. People there are kind and very helpful. Store is kept clean and well stocked. Prescriptions are filled quickly and accurately. I think all the employees there for being such hard workers and always going out of their way to make your shopping experience better.

Every time I go to the pharmacy I call before hand because they never have my stuff. They always tell me my prescription will be ready in about 45 min to an hour. I go to pick it up and every single time they tell me they do not have it and I have to wait another 45 min to an hour so I have to go home and go back and pick it up. I just do not understand. Waste of my time.

AWFUL. They filled with generic even with a prior auth on file and then left me on hold for 40 mins just to have the woman hang up on me and then tell me to hold all over again when I called back. I had to call another cvs to get through to Waretown. I had to switch to CVS for insurance purposes and OMG....!!!!

I would give no stars if I could. The pharmacy is just absolutely awful. Definitely do yourself a favor and pick a different pharmacy, save yourself the time and aggravation.

Unfortunately never seem to get my prescription correct. Its' been the same prescription for the past 2 years and I ALWAYS have trouble renewing it. Why, I have no idea. Not the best of help i presume !!
