My dog loves going to the Madison (or the "bark bark" as he knows it). Whenever I mention that we're going to the bark bark, he gets so excited and is ready to bolt out the door. I know he plays hard and has a great time because he takes a big nap on the ride home. The humans at the Madison are great, too! They also do grooming, which is so convenient and my little guy gets to have some playtime before he gets his haircut. Definitely recommend!

We absolutely LOVE the Madison! We board our Boxer puppy here when we go away. The owner Ryan went above and beyond for us ..being the first time we were so nervous to leave her. Highly highly recommend the Madison for your pup! Great experience overall!

I am so thrilled to have found the Madison for my dog, Bowie! This was my first time boarding him since rescuing him last year, and I was more nervous than he was! When I picked him up, he was clean from his bath, well cared for, and had an absolute blast playing with his new doggie friends! I can’t recommend this enough for any dog owner. Thank you Madison Dog Resort & Spa for taking such amazing care of my boy. We will absolutely be back!

I love the Madison - it has been a Godsend when my dog is full of energy and I don't have time for a long walk, or if I am out for the day - so much nicer for them to be with other dogs and people. They supervise the dogs and give helpful feedback. It is clean and the people who work there are consistently friendly and not a lot of turnover so they are familiar faces and really get to know your dog. Kelly and the grooming staff are also really great - one of my dogs is really difficult to handle for baths but Kelly is always able to do it and never complains about her! Victor who runs The Madison is a really great person - cares very much about the business!

I absolutely LOVE the Madison! The staff is wonderful and caring! I feel completely confident in their dedication and love for dogs. The facility is clean and the staff is always taking such great care of the dogs. My dog gets so excited when we turn the corner heading to doggie daycare at the Madison! They have become like family!

Absolutely love The Madison! My dog has been going since he was old enough. He’s grown up at The Madison and enjoys his time there. The staff treats him like their own. They are so nice and very knowledgeable. I’ve learned so much from them . Being a first time dog owner, they have been a huge help . I recommend The Madison to everyone I know . I love being a part of The Madison family!

We had a great experience with sending our dog to The Madison in Hawthorne. The staff took great care of him! There is always someone with the dogs and make sure they are playing appropriately. They offer grooming which we took advantage of a few times. We mainly used it for care while both my husband and I were at work. One thing to note is that our dog had issues with his paws getting worn down on the floors causing us to not be able to bring him there as often as we would have liked. Overall I would highly suggest using The Madison for your needs.

My dog has been going to the Madison for over a year. He loves it there! He loves the staff and Sean, the owner. They are attentive to my dog and it's great, because he comes home tired from playing all day. Sleep overs are clean and comfortable.

Love The Madison! My dogs are always happy to go to there for boarding, and the groomer is great. When I left them for boarding at the vet, I left 2 healthy dogs and came home to 2 sick dogs. They were so stressed out they became ill. Then I found The Madison, and it was a totally different experience. I'm never worried when I leave my dogs there, which makes life a lot easier for me.

We are extremely happy with The Madison. We board our dog while on vacation and bring him in to be groomed. Our dog loves playing with the other dogs and he loves the people. The staff is very friendly and they all remember my dog by name, even if he hasn’t been there in a while. I can see he is well cared for and happy.

I have taken two of my Golden’s to the Madison since it opened (one at a time). When the first one died of spine cancer they were very sympathetic and supportive. Our present dog Booker loves to go here. He plays all day and is always exhausted when he comes home. He has come for day care and stayed as long as ten days. He always pulls to go in and when picked up almost seems sad to leave. The staff and owner are great people. You can’t help but be happy and feel secure when you bring your dog here.

Have been to a few different daycares over the years, but no one compares to the Madison! Our pup is a bigger dog, very vocal and likes to play play play! A lot of other dogs get intimidated and we noticed after a stay at another facility her nose and elbows had scabs (after what we guess being locked away the whole time). The Madison was kind enough to take notes , writing to introduce our dog slowly to the pack on a leash before feeling comfortable. She runs to the door when we bring her and we know she’s excited to play with her friends now ! We also reserve the couch room so she feels right at home overnight and the staff is patient when I call and ask a million questions if we have to leave her there over night. It’s the only place we trust !

Gemini is my first dog and I was clueless with where to take her for grooming, so we took her to PETCO, well the groomer informed us she couldn’t groom her because she was too matted however she suggested we take her to Kelly at Madison. Well that was three years ago and we are so grateful for the referral, the staff at Madison are always friendly, courteous and professional. We’ve taken obedience classes, used the boarding services and of course will only trust Kelly to groom her. The best place for fur babies, I totally trust them with her.

The Madison dog resort is the best. Kirby loves going there and playing with all of his friends. It’s a great place for him to work out all of his energy, he is always tired after a full day of being there. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I’d recommend them to any dog owner.

We have had two different dogs, both with anxiety issues, and used the Madison for years. Our dogs are calm and relaxed in the open play area. When there are problems, and there have been with both of our dogs during overnights due to there anxiety, the staff is completely transparent helpful and do everything they can to get to know your dog. I wouldn’t put our dog anywhere else.Although it is a little pricier than some overnight boarding, it’s worth every penny!

I have used The Madison for over a year for grooming. They are always friendly and the facility is clean. Plus, the most important thing is that I feel comfortable leaving my dog with the groomer. They know just how to handle my slightly crazy pup. It has been a wonderful experience dealing with them and I highly recommend the Waldwick location.

We used Madison for our dogs when we went to our daughters wedding in Chicago. One of our dogs got sick and we didn't want to leave her but they took good care of her following all our instructions. They have cameras so you can see your pets to see how they are doing. We really liked the place. They also do haircuts. We had it done twice now and we love the way they are cut. A little more pricey but worth it. 👍

Our two dogs have had wonderful stays at the Madison. We are able to see them on line, and enjoy watching them play with other dogs there. They are fully responsive to their food needs. Grooming and baths make their visits all the better.

Gary visits Madison when we have to go somewhere and he can't be with us. He is part of the Family but he can't always come along. He loves his visits to Madison and he always come back healthy and clean. He never has that kennel smell and they don't spray him with deodorizer before we pick him up. We have tried other places but we like Madison the best.

This is by far the best boarding and daycare place we have ever had our dogs. We have used many over the years and the owners take care of our dog Winter like she is their own. They are knowledgeable about the care of the dogs from feedings, medicine and adequate play/rest time. I highly recommend this facility for all of your dog boarding and grooming needs.

We love The Madison! I drop my greyhound Indy off for daycare a few days a week and he loves it. He is always excited when he sees that he is getting dropped off and he always comes back home tired from playing all day. The staff loves watching him and they are always very pleasant.

We have been with the Madison Dog Spa since they opened in Waldwick. For awhile our dogs went to doggie day care regularly and boarded there on a few trips. They were very well taken care of as if they were there own. We used them for grooming as well. While our job staus’ Have allows us to be home more, we still bring our 2 loves there from time to time for day care and grooming.I’m very particular about our dogs being treated better than people ;). You will be well served by putting them in the care of Madison Dog Spa.

We used The Madison to board our dog during our vacation and had a very positive experience.The owners and staff showed a great interest in the dogs.They made sure Elly (a patterdale terrier, who is a rescue) was familiar with the place prior to us dropping her off for our vacation by having her for 2 day sessions.Elly came back in fine condition and happy with her stay but also happy to be back with us.

Love bringing my pup here when I'm in town! Took her for daycare and boarding over a weekend and Olivia loved it! Love that they have cameras available too which helps give us a peace of mind and be able to check up on her! Def will be going here whenever we are in the area!

We have nothing but great things to say about The Madison. They’ve been extremely patient and caring with our two Airedale Terriers, Skylar and Ace. Our veterinarian suggested that we try them and we have had zero regrets since. They’ve going there for almost a year now. What’s truly amazing is how they actually take the time to work with your dog and help with any bad behaviors. There’s always at least 4 staff members in the dog area because they care about the safety of the dogs. They also give them outdoor potty breaks too, so the dogs aren’t just going to the bathroom indoors. Everyone has been truly amazing and would absolutely recommend them. Thank you!

I've been bringing my dogs Abby and Foster to the Madison in Wayne NJ for a few years now. I even moved outside of town and I refuse to find somewhere closer to home because of how wonderful they are! They treat my dogs so well, the owner goes out of his way to let us know that they are in great hands! They are also always accommodating when we have to make last minute changes or are going through some hard times at work. There is no place like it! I cannot say enough good things! I wish I could give more stars!
