Tanner's lives up to the name Canine Resort! I would never take my dog anywhere else. The grounds and Boarding Suites are spotless. The staff is loving and attentive to each dog's needs. They do a wonderful job of communicating with me. I have recommended Tanner's to quite a few people with excellent results.

Tanner’s is my dog’s 2nd home!!! We absolutely love this place!!!! The people here really love and care about all of the dogs and they are trained to work with dogs, unlike many other day care centers for dogs. Tanner’s has a big open yard for the dogs to run and play. They also have separate areas in the yard so that they can separate the dogs by size, temperament, and energy level. I like the fact that I can see the yard when I drop him off and I can see how much fun the dogs are all having! In the summer they have little doggie pools and sprinklers for them, and when it rains they have a spacious garage for the dogs to play in. As much as possible, though, the dogs are OUTSIDE, which I am so grateful for. I was not planning to have to go back to work full time a year after getting our puppy, but thanks to Tanners, my dog gets a lot of stimulation, socialization, and exercise while his family is at work/school. I am SO grateful!! We have also used Tanner’s for boarding when we had to go away for a week in the Spring. Since my dog was already used to Tanner’s for day care, I felt SO comfortable leaving him there as I knew he would be well cared-for and he would have fun. I cannot recommend Tanner’s highly enough!! Do not look anywhere else for daycare or boarding for your precious pup!

Shiloh has been going to Tanner’s for daycare, training and boarding since 2020 — and she still gets SUPER excited every time we arrive! Tanner’s is her “home away from home.” Recently, Shiloh boarded for 11 nights while we were away — and, although we missed her terribly, we had peace of mind the entire time knowing she was receiving the best care and having fun each day with her dog friends and people friends. What sets Tanner’s apart from others? Quite simply — love. ♥️

We have been to several places, but nothing compares to Tanners. The facility is first class with plenty of space for dogs to run and play, and they are segregated by size. It's impeccably clean and a very caring staff. They will take care of all your pets' needs no matter how fussy you are, medicines, treats, foods, just tell them what you want, and they will take care of it down to the smallest detail. The owner is fantastic and on top of her business and really cares. We love Tanners, but more importantly, Ziggy loves going there. We highly recommend them!

Tanner's is Finn's FAVORITE place to be when not at home!! He goes there for daycare and as soon as I turn onto Hopper Ave. he's so anxious to get there that he cry/barks until I get him out of the car at the facility The staff is always friendly, kind and very professional with both the animals and humans. I've had collies for 40 years and have always been very particular regarding their care. When I leave Finn at Tanner's I am confident that he is in the best hands possible (besides mine) and he will be safe and have a great day playing. Thank you Tanner's for providing my dog with such a wonderful experience!!

Our family LOVES Tanner's Canine Resort and we can't imagine entrusting the care of our precious pup to any other facility. Our dog attended Puppy Kindergarten at four months old. The professional staff was very helpful in working with her and in teaching us the best way to train our dog, always using positive reinforcement. Our dog is now nearly three years old and she attends daycare part time. She runs in every time and is eager to enter the yard to play with her "friends". The staff treats our dog with love and great care. They are also very good at communicating with pet owners when necessary. We feel very lucky that we found Tanner's and so does our lovely Labrador ❤️!!!

Teller, the beagle, loves Tanner’s! He’s a bit of an anxious dog, possibly because we adopted him at 8 years old and he likely wasn’t around many people or dogs. But at Tanner’s he really opens up.He has been an overnight guest at Tanner’s while my husband and I are on vacation since the summer of 2020. At first he was apprehensive but the care shown by the staff allows him to relax. These days he trots right in. It’s like he is excited to see his friends.We are so grateful to have a place like Tanner’s where the entire staff clearly loves what they do. We know our best buddy is in good hands.

I don’t have enough superlatives in my vocabulary to describe my thoughts in Tanner’s!! My gratitude is HUGE!! I have a now 10 month old French Bulldog (Ellie) who has been a regular at Tanner’s since she was 5 months old. She is at daycare twice a week which just makes me feel like a good dog mom knowing she gets such good clean supervised safe playtime with her friends each week and great exercise.Ellie has now also boarded twice for multiple night stays, and it gives me the most absolute peace of mind knowing she is again in a safe place, with all of her regular friends and people caring for her and her needs when I can’t be with her. The boarding facility is a 10 — total top notch — so clean and spread out and no crates at all, but rather separate little rooms.Suzanne and Tracy have been so incredibly kind and helpful to me since day 1 and quelled every single fear and totally accommodated my helicopter mom’ing as a first time boarder. I was able to FaceTime with Ellie whenever I wanted! Made my heart so happy to see her having a blast with her friends.The entire staff is so kind and accommodating. Sometimes my mom helps me out and picks Ellie up or drops off, and unfortunately she has a bad back and is unable to physically pick her up, the staff always come out to her car to get Ellie or bring her back!Both Ellie and I live Tanner’s!!

Tanner’s Canine Resort is a home away from home for our fur babies. We don’t worry about leaving the country because we know they are in great hands. They love our babies and take care of them like we do. We have great peace of mind and appreciate the care. We will keep leaving the doggies there.

Took our puppy to tanners from the beginning. They accepted her, seemed to understand her breed and energy. We paid for the puppy kindergarten and were seemingly disappointed in the "promises". They didn't follow through on their end of the deal with teaching us as owners and I don't know if my pup actually was given what we paid for. As soon as those lessons were completed, we continued with regular daycare because we have a small baby and the dog just needed lots of energy release. Our 7 month old dog is not aggressive, just very high energy. Tanners didn't complain about her, took her and our money repeatedly until we started to ask questions then the tides changed. She was coming home with more energy than normal, she wasn't tired and seemed cooped up despite hours in the play yard. Well come to find out, they were keeping our 40lb high energy dog in the small yard with the small dogs (which was extremely over crowded to start with) because "they couldn't handle her in the big yard." That she would run around too much and then get scared when corrected so they kept her out. Isn't that the point of doggy daycare? They made me sign a death release waiver because she was jumping from one yard to the next - cause she's not a small dog! She's a sporting dog with energy! You were holding her back and blaming her! Ultimately we removed her from their care. We live in town and there have been 2 dog deaths there in the last 2 years - one of which they denied when I asked but was confirmed by the neighboring vet,, the other is posted on a review here. Friendly enough staff but competency in dog care and training leaves much to be desired. We won't be back and we wont be recommending.

My 5 pound dog has been going to tanners since tanners opened its doors. He lights up every time he sees the place and it was his home away from home. His favorite part of the day was seeing Yvonne- His second mom. My heart breaks that he's never going back there.We just received a call that Tanners was kicking him out for behavior issues. Not a single warning to try to help him. After speaking to other clients we realized that lately they have been finding excuses to kick out many dogs. Maybe they're taking on too many puppies at once? Maybe they're staff isn't trained appropriately? I don't know.All i know is that they keep blaming all the dogs and it's NEVER anything tanners is doing wrong.How can we have our dogs do well at tanners when they themselves are not helping our dogs by letting us know theres a problem to begin with.The owner called me to let me know my dog wasn't a good fit. Her excuse was he bit a client last week. My husband witnessed other dogs fighting in the yard and the employee holding my dog, without thinking, handed him very fast over to a client. with good reasoning, my dog reacted and got scared with everything going on around him. How can you blame my dog for that? He should have never been given to a client!! Forget the fact that my dog was just mistreated and reacted to your employee. They blamed my dog for the inappropriate handling of my dog.I had time to think about it and called and spoke to another owner who said that was the icing on the cake and he's been snipping for a while. Im sorry but obviously my dog keeps reacting to what's going on in his surroundings.Tanners claims after the fact, that he did it often. In his 2.5 years of being there he had only ONE write up, but they still kicked him out. If he was such a problem, shouldn't there have been more?Im not saying my dog didn't do those things...im saying that tanners didn't tell me about it until AFTER he was kicked out.Tanners is great, until your dog gets kicked out...

My 11 year old dog just spent 2 nights boarding at Tanner’s and I couldn’t be happier with his stay! I am always hesitant to send my dog anywhere to be boarded, I did extensive research and it is clear why Tanner’s stands out as the best! The staff was so thorough upon dropping our dog Roman off, they closely noted all of his instructions and medication administration, and the items we sent him with. I felt at ease leaving out their door and that is a first for me being that I have an older dog with some health issues to watch out for. Upon picking him up he was so happy, he has been sleeping since he came home! A happy pup is a tired pup! I love how clean the resort is, how professional the owners are, it is obvious all the staff loves these animals and takes great care of them! They get a 10/10 for safety factors and securing the property and I love that there is someone always on site and it is right next to a vet in case anything ever happened. If you are looking for a safe, clean, loving place to send your dog look no further Tanner’s is it! Thank you Tanner’s!

Tanners is great. The owners are great. They send out so much meaningful information via email. Which really sets you up for success for when dropping off your dog. Make sure you know how much to feed your dog when dropping it off for boarding, as it allows their staff to take proper awesome care of your dog.

I was so nervous about finding a place for my puppy to stay while we were away on vacation. This was the first time we would be leaving him and I wanted to find the very best place. I definitely found that in Tanners! From the very first meet and greet you could see how much they truly loved being around dogs and loved what they were doing. While away they sent us pictures and updates and made the whole process of leaving him in their care so much easier. We have already booked Maui’s next stay with them and will use them for day care just to give our pup a chance to see his friends and get all his energy out. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place that will love your dog as much as you do.

We switched to camp now wow because they couldn’t “help” my anxiety ridden puppy! Tanners never complained about him once they accepted him immediately and my baby loves day care now! So does my older one but he always loved camp! Finding tanners was a blessing!!!UPDATE: I DIDNT CANCLE WITH IN THE 14 day mark I called on the 12 days before-they charged my card wo speaking to me first 200 dollars. The owners were completely not concerned that I had an emergency surgery date thst needed to be changed I couldn’t bring my pups in on the days I requested boarding. The staff was wonderful with the dogs but the 2 women tbst own that place are a nightmare and are highly rude!!! Apparently a dog just recently died there too. I would think twice about bringing your dog here unfortunately because the women want to run this place like a human hotel. The prices are not fair and the customer service is horrendous

The staff is incredible kind, caring and terrific that we knew our puppy was in the best hands!! We are so happy we found them and can’t wait to continue using them!

We’ve been going to Tanner’s 3 weeks after they opened and have been going back ever since. Our puppy has stayed twice for 4 night stays and goes frequently for doggy day care and training. Our dog literally runs out of the car and into the building which makes things super easy for us. Suzanne and Tracy are great and really get to know you. You aren’t just a number they take the time to get to know you and your dog. Tracy has helped our puppy with obedience training which has definitely helped. Can’t say enough great things about this place. The kennels are super clean, safe, and state of the art. So lucky this place is in my town. I trust Tanner’s with my pup and you should too!

Tanner's is fantastic! I absolutely hate boarding my dog as I find myself wondering if Ginger is doing ok. We needed to board her for 1 week as we went on vacation and the staff all took wonderful care of her! During boarding, our dog had a few episodes of bloody diarrhea and they promptly notified me and were even able to take her to her regular vet. I felt she was in the best hands. I highly recommend this facility for boarding -unlike many other facilities in the area, they have an outdoor yard- which is good for our dog since she is trained to use the bathroom outside. I also got pictures sent to me while away and didn't even request for them -those really made my day while away :)

Tanner's Canine Resort is amazing! Both Tracey and Suzanne are doing an excellent job running the place. Moose, my 8 month old golden retriever LOVES coming here and is exhausted after a long day of playing at this brand new, state of the art facility. This morning I was in a serious bind with work and they took him happily and without a second thought. If you're looking for a wonderful new facility to send your pup with friendly, flexible people this is your place!

Tanner's is a great place to bring you dog(s). It is a very clean, spacious facility that offers a great time. Our dogs came home wiped out from their day of fun! They are quick to respond to your questions and are very accommodating and understanding of the different personalities of the dogs. Highly recommend.

Our 10 year old lab stayed the week at Tanner’s Canine Resort. We were so nervous, he had never stayed away from us in the year since we rescued him. When we returned to pick him up, I don’t think he wanted to leave!! The facilities were amazing and the dogs, big and small, were appropriately monitored and stimulated throughout the day. They even sent pictures of him for us throughout the week. I highly recommend Tanner’s Canine Resort, it was a wonderful experience!

Tanner’s Canine Resort is great for all dogs but especially active dogs. With a huge outdoor play area, the employees are engaged with the dogs and give them plenty of mental and physical stimulation. When it’s time to rest, the dogs each have a private indoor suite that’s modern, clean and comfortable. We can’t say enough good things about Tanner’s- highly recommended!

Tanner's is the PLACE to trust leaving your fur baby at, whether for a day or a week long holiday! Be aware an initial meet & greet is required before leaving your pet there. It all begins with having the opportunity to meet both co-owners (both are great in their perspective roles). Next you'll be given a tour of the spacious backyard play area, and newly built indoor kennel area. Both are impeccably kept. If anyone feels nervous about leaving their pet behind rest assured, Tanner's will make sure your animals are well attended for. Thank you ladies for all you do! Charlie will miss it there, but we know where to go if or when we come back to the area. 😁

This is the second time I’ve ever written a review about anything, but I’ve been so impressed with Tanner’s that I felt compelled to write one. I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and my dogs are my life. I’ve always planned vacations around my dogs and have never entrusted them to anyone but my best friend. I never, ever imagined I would board them; that is, until I found Tanner’s by happenstance. From the moment I walked in I knew I would, for the first time ever, give boarding a try. The facility is brand new. It’s immaculate, which was extremely important to me! I was also sold on the fact that the dogs are in the yard playing most of the day instead of being locked up in the kennels most of the day much like how other boarding places operate. The yard is huge, with plenty of room to run, play, rest under the tree, swim in the pool, etc. I always saw at least 3 caretakers outside with the dogs. Unfortunately, my dog has neurological damage and was intimidated by all the dogs playing and running. The owners, Suzanne and Tracy, who are amazing, told me not to worry and they would do what was best for my dog. After two day trial runs, they decided that Sawyer was most comfortable and happy in his own bed right in the front office with Suzanne. And that’s where my baby spent most of his days during that week —-but they still made sure that he got enough outdoor time. Suzanne texted me almost every day giving me updates and sending me pictures. I can’t recommend them enough. It was our first time ever boarding any of our dogs and we will be going back in a couple of weeks. I can finally vacation carefree.

Our 4 month of Lab mix has been at Tanners for about a month now! He absolutely loves puppy kindergarten and so far we have seen so much progress and we really feel at ease knowing our puppy is in great hands! He practically jumps out of the car every morning when we pull into the parking lot!
