I used to shop there ever since they opened big shoppings two times per week not anymore! Shop Rite has much better prices. I see the place is empty and probably will go out of business! Just like the one in Oakland the same story. Horrible prices. They think they are Giuseppe? 😂

Everyone we met who works there was friendly and helpful. There's a huge selection of fruits and vegetables. The deli has great selections. The guys selling fish are so kind.

I have been going to this store since it opened 2-3 times a week, it was great, in the last few months the produce prices have basically doubled so i have stopped going i now go to the produce market in Glen Rock who have the prices of the old Giant Market

Not sure what happened with this store. Used to have good prices on their veggies but now they are the same price as a regular grocery store. Also I could overlook the sometimes poor quality of the veggies but now the prices are the same as regular store but the quality is still poor.

**update** manager took my concerns very seriously and in the last 4 months they have not had one issue of rotting fruit or vegetables! Prices are great and they keep this up it will be a great successLet me start by saying I really wanted to like this place and have often ignored the many times my produce was in bad shape within 48 hrs.Today I went in to buy 4 small pint sized tomatoes and pitted kalamala olives. I noticed nearly all of the containers of the brand Golden Bright Tomato Medley tomatoes were moldy and when I got home the olives were inedible because they were spoiled and the cherries I bought were about 50% brown with soft squishy spots. When I went to return these items (same day) the manager pointed to a register and told me to get in that line. I said please don't make me wait in this long line I still have to go to another store to replace these items. He had a big smirky smile and he said to the cashier in Spanish, work slowly so she has to wait longer. One of the shoppers on the line told me what he said. I looked at him he started a mocking laugh and slowly walked away. I had to wait over 20 min on a line of shoppers. Also, 4 hours later they still did not remove the rotten olives or the 4 shelves of moldy tomatoe pints even though the manager said they would remove them immediately.

Such a refreshing change from the "giant" generic supermarkets in the area. Amazing produce, incredible seafood, and overall excellent selection and prices. Living in the area for more than 25 years, and thankfully, we finally have something new. Highly recommended

Incredible produce, beautiful meats, reasonable prices (for today's market). Store is expansive with lots of selection. Some of the produce is super-sized. Everything is very fresh, and some of it is grown locally. Definitely worth checking out, wish it was closer to where I live.

I mainly go here for the fruit and sometimes other items. I wish I could say it’s worth it but every time I get fruit, it’s soggy or moldy within a day or two. I thought it was worth it to save a trip but at this point I would rather spend a little more money on quality fruit that lasts longer in my refrigerator at ShopRite. I’ve given myself many times to see if it happens again, but it continues to happen with most fruit. I waste half my raspberries or strawberries cause by day two and three they are mush. If I get my fruit at ShopRite I don’t have this problem! It’s unfortunate because it’s so reasonable but it makes sense why! Doesn’t help that their prices recently went up and can sometimes be double than a regular grocery store! It’s worth taking the extra time to go to your normal grocer and pay a little more for quality fruit.

They have no idea how to keep fruits and veggies fresh. They always put water on them, wasting all the veggies because they rot due to their idiotic process. It’s very sad, and definitely stay away from their fish section too.

I've been purchasing some produce at this market and seem to be tossing out more than I am able to eat. I believe this place buys their produce on the cusp of becoming badand if you don't use it within a couple of days, you need to throw it out. All of the tomatoes I had purchased, needed to be tossed, including the watermelon.I have a great organic indie market in town and quite frankly, I would rather pay a little more to get produce that's fresh, than to get a bargain that needs to be thrown away.

The gentleman wearing all black maybe he is a “chef” came to me to tell me I’m disgusting for brushing some rice on my cup off the cup and was repeating to me how I’m disgusting . I said well do you have napkins or something I can wipe the edge off an he said go ask someone else .. this man is a disgusting human being who should have zero contact with public with an attitude as disgusting as his he shouldn’t even be able to work near public . I won’t ever be back after 7 years of patronage . Never again

Don't waste your time, it's not what it used to be. This place used to be amazing, but it went downhill over the past few months. It's produce prices are no longer cheaper than the nearby supermarkets. Their selection is also significantly smaller than what it used to be. There's so many empty shelves.

The veggies and fruits were very fresh and especially well priced today! The prepared cooked food at the salad bar looked very appealing and appetizing! Very personable staff keeping store well stocked, helping customers at register and keeping place clean.

Very bad service, very rude, they have problems with the speak English language, the staff only speaks Spanish, the prices are higher than in other old and immature supermarkets. I do not recommend this supermarket

Used to love this store. Now shelves are half empty. Many of the vegetables are bad. Picked up several red onions only to find them bad and several flies emerged.Bought ice cream in Sept only to see that it expired in June.Giant doesn't clear out expired items, so be careful.

This store used to be great, but it has recently deteriorated! I went a few days ago and all the fruits and vegetables looked old and the selection was very limited. I wanted to buy some frozen items and I noticed at checkout that they weren’t even cold! The staff is rude.Even though I live a few minutes away, I will never go there again.

A very nice marketplace of vegetables and fruits! They have a nice hot bar and salad bar. The food is very good. They were open for Christmas Day which was extremely helpful for those who did not get to shop the day before. A lot of international food is available for those that are looking for something different. The flower mart has fresh bouquets ready for pickup. Inside the farmers market is a Japanese sushi area where you can pick up a lot of different types of sushi or have something custom made for you. A fresh meat department where they have a butcher on hand. The giant farmers market is highly recommended, clean and the people that work there are extremely nice.
