I made the decision to stop into this quaint shop on November 2nd of 2023. I made the best decision of my life that day, the scallops were serendipitous. The lobster was the freshest I’ve ever tasted in my God willing life and the broiled combo was simply heavenly. My step aunt Sally decided to try the coconut shrimp, and she will never go back to any other form of shrimp. It is coconut all the way from here on out. I recommend to everyone who ever loved to eat fish as a child. Consistently good food. You can either take out or eat on their covered outside patio. Right next door is an ice cream stand and miniature golf for the family. We love it here!

Always delicious food. I come here every time I go to Cape May. Crab cakes mushrooms are A+ and so is the popcorn shrimp. We also got the seafood broil and added a lobster tail. There is usually a long wait, so call ahead!

First time here, tried the broiled stuffed shrimp, delicious. Came with sides which were good. Tried the fried mushrooms, they were very good . My favorite thing was the prices were awesome. Very reasonably priced. I will be back .

Hands down the best place for seafood in the area! Although if I’m honest…we hardly went anywhere else. We ordered multiple times while there on vacation. Some of our favorites were the coconut shrimp and crab cakes. On Friday night we did have to wait quite a while for our food but it’s completely understandable considering how good it is.

We’ve had takeout here multiple times thru the years. People may not like their system? But it works! Good is always great, along with items you can take home and cook yourself. If you’re not willing to wait for some of the freshest tastiest seafood around, get a Filet O Fish from Mickey D’s.Great food whether it be takeout or cook yourself. Personal favorites are the Scallop Dinners, but the Baltimore Crab Cakes on a griddle lightly browned are the best.Good job Fish and Fancy!

Great place to get take out seafood. Everything is always fresh, cooked the way you want and the prices are very reasonable compared to other seafood places in that area. They do have a place to eat outside but it is mainly just picnic tables. Their business is mostly take out. Call early if you are ordering on the weekends during the summer because they get very busy. Enjoy!Parking: About 10

Wife said she will not go into the store again. Staff not friendly, no eye contact, no hello, no thank you. called her name brought someone else's order up after she was there much longer. Hell yeah, man. Cheap place, and you sure as hell get your money's worth. Same meal at a different place would run you 5x the price. Absolutely delicious food with a very cooperative staff. Only complaint is there's not enough napkins to compensate with how quickly we destroyed the food.Vegetarian options: Vegetarians: This place ain't for you, though you probably gathered that from the name.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of mild seafood options like popcorn shrimp and flounder.

I sat down for a meal after working all day, so needless to say I was starving and thought anything should have tasted good, but I was way wrong. The food quality was dismal and most certainly frozen fish. Mushy and flavorless with a hint of water. No bathroom and rude staff gets this establishment 2 stars only because I didn't have to pay.

This is my family’s go to when we want seafood. Fair prices and always great food. I usually get the Seafood Fra Diablo which is a nice healthy portion of shrimp, scallops, clams and mussels over pasta. This could easily feed two people or one hungry slob like myself. It’s really just that good😂

My family has been customers since Fish and Fancy began, 30 years ago. I have seen the service decline so much over the years because they have failed to expand your kitchen, which makes weekends/holiday demand more than can be fulfilled in a reasonable time frame. On July 4th, I placed an order of 2 six piece coconut shrimp and I asked if 45 minutes would be OK. The lady said the earliest would be two hours later at 7:20. I agreed that I could wait two hours for my order to be completed. When I showed up at that the time she gave me, I was told "It is still going to be a while until we get your order made". I told them how disappointed I was that they couldn't make me 12 shrimp in over 2 hours of time and walked out... Never thought things would get this bad at one of my family's favorite traditions.

Very good food! Kids love the popcorn shrimp, even though there not popcorn size! More like regular size! The coconut shrimp were extra jumbo and fresh breaded! The onion rings and petal sauce were awesome. But my favorite was the homemade coleslaw! If they had hush puppies I think I'd be in trouble!Prices are very good for fresh seafood from around the area. Make sure you call ahead, its usually a 30-35 minute wait, but it's well worth it!

The food is just phenomenal, easily the best crab cakes I’ve had any where in NJ. The staff is polite, but the wait times are long. If you show up when they tell you to, you can expect to wait in line on location for another 10-15 minutes. They only allow 4 people in the shop during the pandemic (which is great) but each time I go, they seem to have a lot of food ready for people who are not there, and the 4 or 5 people who are there all seem to have to wait between 10 and 15 additional minutes.

I am a local. I go here every week in the winter, and embarrassingly often in the summer. Be sure to call ahead so you don't have to wait while your food is being prepared freshly for you. Everything is cooked to order. Nothing tastes fishy, it's so fresh. Coconut breading is awesome, and the dipping sauce tastes like you're on a Caribbean vacation. Check out the blackboard specials on their website. They change every week. The service is fast, professional and friendly. There aren't enough words to explain how awesome this place is. I would give 10 stars if I could. Easy to find - great location.

Lobster bisque had hardly anything in it besides tomatoes and cream, definitely no lobster meat. The shrimp and scallops over linguine had a good portion of linguine, but not much shrimp and only a few scallops. Plus, the meal was bland. Had to doctor it when we got home. It wasn't terrible, just wasn't all that good.

A rare find for us! We could not have been happier! A last minute trip and unexpected great weather really helped out our seafood fest! Great prices on the little neck clams we took out and the shrimp was colossal! We were impressed and will be back for some of the delicious things we smelled cooking!
