What a gem! Food was amazing, portions gigantic and prices very reasonable. Their early bird specials are a great deal. I ordered roast beef with mashed potatoes and string bean caserole. Came with salad and fresh made bread that was amazing. Literally twice as much roast beef as local restaurants charging way more. Vegan options for my wife and daughter made them just as happy.

Such a delicious breakfast! I’ve never seen such perfectly cooked over easy eggs. The toast was fluffy and had the perfect amount of butter. The red skin potatoes were exquisitely cooked.

What a great place to eat. Very friendly staff and meticulously clean establishment. The food was excellently prepared and everything was fresh and delicious. The portions were huge for a reasonable price. My compliments to the chef who I understand is also the owner. We went for dinner and we will definitely be going back. BYOB.

This place is seriously THE best. Went to the mad batter that was famous for breakfast and was severely disappointed. Here they have everything you're looking for. Great prices. Great food. Great atmosphere. Food came quickly and was delicious. The staff was accommodating and sweet. Really cannot say enough good things about this place. Highly highly highly recommend!

A fantastic little restaurant for breakfast or lunch! Large, spacious dining area and very friendly staff!Three eggs sunnyside up, tater-tots, scrapple, pork roll, and a side of white toast made for a filling and delicious first meal of the day! Castaway Cafe is definitely worth a stop!

Tonight we placed a take out order. Placed order for specific pick up time. Order was ready at time requested. Ordered Prime Rib special and ham dinner. Choice of soup or salad along with two sides. This place is well worth the money. Never been here before and both me and my mom were impressed. We thought that it would be your normal run of the mill diner food. But when we got our soups (I had Chicken Noodle, mom had Cream of Asparagus). Both soups had REAL INGREDIENTS and were not out of a can!When our dinners arrived, there was just TOO MUCH food to eat! Mom’s Chicken Parm had homemade sauce and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The turkey had REAL GRAVY, not the cheap yellow “gravy” that every other diner in the county is trying to pass off as “real gravy” and was cut to the perfect thickness.5/5 DEFINITELY coming back again.

Paul, the owner, is a great man and his daughter, the cook, is absolutely phenomenal at what she does! The breakfast is top notch and priced fairly. The servers are all polite and efficient. The hot roast beef sandwich with the au jous Is one of the top 10 food items I've ever eaten! They are very busy on the weekends, so call ahead for a reservation!!

This place was recommended by my sister and I knew as soon as we got there it was popular because of the line. The portions were perfect! My husband got the meat lovers omelet and it was FILLED with meat. Even though they don't advertise chocolate chip pancakes, they gladly made them for my four year old. I got the pictured cream cheese stuffed french toast and it was the best french toast I've EVER had. The waiters and waitresses were all so sweet and great with my son and all the babies seated near us. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

I'm a server here so it would be unfair of me to comment on the food but I will say the portions are huge and the owner is very accommodating to customers wants. Sometimes there's a long wait but trust me, you will not be disappointed with your food.Wheelchair accessibility: There aren't any steps so wheel chairs can get in the door just fine. We have had many customers that have come in and were in a wheel chair.

I cannot recommend this restaurant. I tried to be patient knowing that there are many challenges businesses face due to the pandemic. Best I can say is pack your patienceSat for 40 minutes before being approached by wait staff. The people seated immediately before us ate and left before we had our drinks. As did people sat after us. It seemed that the wait staff was not organized. My food was room temperature and not cooked properly - the yolks for Eggs Benedict are supposed to be runny. I sent my meal back and it was taken off the bill as requested. The waiter was apologetic. Mother said her food was good and not cold but she never got her toast.

My friend and I both cut the turkey platter. We thought it was a little bland. I barely use salt, but I had to keep salting it to get some of the flavor. The service was excellent. The place is nice and clean. My friend thought maybe they cater to older peopleWho may be on a salt restricted diet? Not sure. No complain about anything else.

Ordered an omelette and a cream cheese french toast. Food was cold when it was brought out but otherwise the flavor was good. Waitress didn't bother ever really checking in so we ran out of coffee and tea that was supposedly supposed to be bottomless. Fifteen minutes after we were done eating the waitress was still MIA so we had to go to the register to see if we could pay. Wasn't very busy so not sure what the excuse could've been. Wanted this to become our new breakfast spot but for $25 hard to justify coming back for cold food and poor service.
