Actual scammers. I booked the appointment online for my small/medium sized cavapoo and it said it was supposed to be $64 for bath and haircut. When i go to pay, they charged me $77 as if he was a big dog when he’s medium at best. Additionally, Kimberly took the Liberty to charge me $15 extra dollars for “demating” my dog but they shaved him so that makes no sense. I ended up paying $100 when I have paid max $70 at other places. I came here because I needed an appointment asap but now I can see why they have so many available spots.

Sam is the friendliest and most helpful associate I've encountered at any pet supplies store! I'm usually a Petsmart shopper, but for convenience landed at this store today. He was able to point out the perfect product for me, and it saved our new couch from permanent stains. I would return again because of the positive customer service experience.

Was told I could do a walk in with my dog and next day and when I arrived they told me I was booked for tomorrow although did not have a appointment . I told them I was a walk in and again insisted I booked it. Told I would go someplace else and the attitude was who cares. When business sales drop they should look at the staff and this staff is horrible and will spread the word to avoid this place.

DO NOT SELECT KIM!!!My dog had to get his beautiful coat cut very low because he was matted in certain areas which I understood. However, when they returned him, his cut was completely BUTCHERED. The ears were uneven, I had to even it out when we got home. The whole cut looked horrible! I understand cutting his hair short was needed, but the fact that they couldn’t at least even it out is very bothersome. I could’ve done it myself blindfolded and would’ve looked better than what they did. NEVER AGAIN!

The store manager is very attentive and professional. Please note that the clinic is only open on Saturdays. If you have questions, like I did, you storks call the hotline. Unless you can wait for the in office Saturday hours. Overall, it is very affordable [vaccinations] with a wide array of products and BUSY!

Every Petco should be managed by Heidi. We started coming here about a year ago when we moved to town and we haven’t been to another pet store since. Our kittens stopped eating their wet food and Heidi turned us onto a new brand that they’ve loved ever since. Heidi has helped us with everything from toy suggestions to pet insurance recommendations. Heidi has gone above and beyond to ensure that Petco will fulfill all of our cats’ needs and provide them with as healthy and happy life

I love taking my dog to the groomer at petco. His groomers name is Kimberly and she does an amazing job with him and truly listens to how I would like his cut to look like. She takes care of him and he looks amazing every time. For your purported I have provided a before and after picture :).

We are very disappointed with the service we received yesterday we brought our puppy there to get cleaned before that's why we returned.Im still in shock every time my granddaughter look at our puppy and it brings tears her eyes she angry and she sad because she trust them. We had an appointment for her to get groomed you know "the works" she had an 9am They called my daughter about an hour later to come get the puppy they were not able to work on her because she was bitting the groomer. This is a 5 month old cockapoo weighing a grand 5 pounds. Teeth can't pierce anything yet. When my granddaughter arrived her puppy was shaved and unevenly her head and face wasn't trimmed at all. My granddaughter didn't notice how much was cut because they had her coat on and put her in the crate when we got home and took her coat off her body was totally shaved you could see her skin , parts of her legs shaved some parts not , her head her ears not at all her hair is so long you can't see her eyes. She looked like someone abused her and left her out in the cold. Thank God they didn't cut her or didn't her nails...We will be taking our puppy to west orange going forward.

I've been putting off bathing my ole lady because of the strain it puts on my back. This Petco has self grooming stations where you can bathe your pup. She's always easygoing during bath time so this was fun. Shampoo, conditioner, tools, and towels were provided. I do wish that the dryer blew warm air.Update: 5 star review now 2 stars. 1/3 bath tubs work and the dryer hose was full of water. 15 minute wait for shampoo/conditioner... and was only given shampoo. I don't know what happened in 4 months time but fix it!

Terrible experience at their Verona, NJ location. So ashamed of what I witnessed, my puppy was also terrified.Is it true what they say about the dog groomer there? I think It’s Kim. The pictures people talk about definitely weren’t appropriate to have with animals, especially when you’re a dog groomer. It would explain why my dog was shaking when we entered the store. Never again.

Same day delivery is a lie...the website will say same day with a time window and then email you with a delay. I tried to cancel the order and was told I would receive my money back within 48 hrs. It ridiculous Petco took there money instantly but now I have to wait. No more same day delivery for me.

I was so disheartened when my dog was returned half groomed. I was informed that my puppy bit the groomer. I waited 20minutes with another customer for someone to even come out to the front desk. When they did no one explained how or what happened they just handed him to me and walked away. I wish Petco hired people with patience who really care about dogs and give them breaks. Today he was groomed by an amazing groomer who fixed Petco’s horrible shave. She said he was so sweet and not once did he bite her or anyone else in the facility.

Just got a long-haired cat. This is the first place we tried. Immediately was greeted by Heidi. Thank you sooooo much! Very personable, helpful. She has cats of her own, so she was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations. Can’t wait for this new journey to begin!

Not very sure the vet here knows what she was talking about. What kinda vet tells you your dog test positive for Lyme disease and doesn’t prescribe antibiotics, as well as refusing vaccines due to paw licking from grass allergies. Things aren’t adding up according to another veterinarian I spoke to.

I love the grooming staff at Petco Verona. They handle my doggie with love and care and every time she comes out of their salon, she looks awesome. I am happy and she is too. This is our go-to grooming place. Have been there several times and will go again. Thanks.

Had a 2pm appointment and didn’t leave till 3:45. Dr didn’t seem knowledgeable. Nurse was calling all the shots.We left there still not knowing what our dog has. We Won’t be returning to the clinic anymore. Waste of time and money.

Even better since the expansion a few years ago. Always clean and well stocked. The associates are super nice and knowledgeable. The one associate carried 2 giant bags of dog food to my car as well as in the cart when I had to check out. Very clean. Always enjoy seeing the cats and the birds!

Do not go to Kimberly (groomer). She does not listen what so ever. I think I got about 2 decent cuts from her where my dog looked OKAY. Which makes sense why she’s always the only groomer available and not booked. Every other time she did exactly what I asked her not to do. Not to mention the last appointment I had, i called multiple times to let them know I was running late. No answer, of course. Just to get there and the lady at the front desk told me my appointment was canceled. Who cancels an appointment without even notifying the customer? So unprofessional, definitely will not be going there anymore and won’t recommend anyone to go there because I had more bad experiences than good.

Yesterday I brought my 7 month old Toy Poodle and only one single knot was found, because of this the stylist decide to completely shave off his entire body when I had brushed him daily to solely prevent this from happening. The stylist also told me that the dogs face would not have to be shaved due to him not having any face knots, but they still shaved most of his facial hair. But hey it takes more effort to completely shave off a person’s dog rather than giving them a proper haircut so I understand. Pathetic.
