I have a very difficult high energy dog and they do a wonderful job handling him, making him comfortable and he always comes out looking like his best self.I got there a little before he was done today and was able to peek at him (just a few peeks so he did not see me through the window) and they were treating him with such kindness and he seemed like he was enjoying the groom as much as he could. It made me feel so happy to see him being taken care of in such a kind and loving way.

i brought my dog buddy he’s a 19 year old Maltese and i was looking for a place that would be able to take good care of him. Thank God i listened to my neighbors recommendation and brought him here! The staff was so welcoming and nice and gave him such a good hair cut. i’m so thrilled to have found a place that makes my little old man happy and handsome ;))

LOVE the scheduling process. All online. Other than that- the front desk staff is so sweet and polite, take detailed notes and seem to really like the animals. My girls always leave here looking fantastic. I hope they never change these groomers. Thankful to have found this place ❤️

We took our old dog here a few years ago. Unfortunately we had to put him down two years ago.We finally got another dog two months ago and this was her first grooming. She is only 5 months old and we were a little concerned about how she would do. She did great and her grooming came out great. She smelled great and she had cute little Christmas bows in her hair.They gave us a cute little gift bag with treats, poop bags and a toy for her.The price was right and the service was great. We will be bringing her back.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. The receptionist is not friendly with dogs, dragged my dog to the back without any concern for his anxiety, red flag number 1. Vivi had my dog harnessed and muzzled - when he doesn’t bite. He was absolutely losing it in pain with her and she didn’t seem to pay any mind, rather, ignored him entirely. Extremely sketchy that after 3 hours they wouldn’t finish my dog with me standing there watching him. Horrible experience. Do not go here. Agreed with the other reviews. As an update- as you can see below, the owner is clearly gaslighting the situation. I was seeing him writhing in pain from the street, and they refused to finish him with me standing there inside the lobby. Stop lying to your customers.

We loved it! First time taking our dog there and not only our dog came out looking gorgeous but also she didn’t have red eyes! Sometimes when we take her for grooming in other places she comes out with red eyes because the leash is way too tight on her neck!! But not this time and we’re super happy about it. Also you get a 10% off if it’s your first time with them. Daisy is so happy!

I have been bringing all of my dogs to PYP since we moved to Montclair 9 years ago (5 dogs in total). The staff is always so accommodating and nice, and they do the best job grooming. They especially took such great care of my very senior dog who could barely stand. The facility is clean and welcoming. Highly recommend!!

My 5 year old Aussie tends to get reactive. She’s been coming to this location for 4 years now! The staff are very friendly and super patient with all their clients. They accommodate my dog and she’s always happy going and leaving. Location is clean and open that you can walk by to check in. I’ve gone to other groomers and this place by far is the best. Much so that I’ve moved 45 minutes away and I still take the drive just to bring them here.

Thank you so much Pamper Your Pet for taking great care of my fur baby and doing an excellent job everyone there was so nice and polite it feels like a good and loving environment soon as you walk in vicious was going to another groomer in Staten Island I was driving 30 minutes or more just because I didn't think I would find someone or a place that would take care of vicious and cut his hair how we liked it I can't tell you how many reviews I read and places I looked at before finally taking a chance after getting tired of taking that drive every time he needed to be groomed and I'm really glad I listened to the reviews and went with my guts instinct I will definitely be bringing my fur baby back to see you guys you have a new loyal customer now I'm sure vicious is very greatful for you guys also he has alot of anxiety and trust issues unfortunately due to the lady that had him before me but he seemed very comfortable with you guys thank goodness she only had him for a couple of months and he's been mine for four years now I don't know if I saved him or if he saved me sounds cheesy but it's the truth again thank you so much for the AMAZING job you guys did!!!! 🐩🐶

THE GOOD:the wash & cut, pup smells and looks great.THE MEH:A little disagreement on the cost/pricing (they honored their word-but shouldn’t have been an issue to start with)THE YUCK:Not so friendly. We found ourselves having to change groomers, and Pamper Your Pet was in our area and had good reviews here, so we thought we'd give it a try. I am so glad we did! Our Gus can be a handful, but after his initial hesitation, he warmed up to the lovely staff, and we left him in their very capable hands. They treated Gus with care, and they asked me and my husband loads of questions about the type of groom we'd like to see. I was delighted to see so many people working on dogs, and there was a vibe of professionalism and love of dogs that permeated the visit. Gus was happily resting, quietly, when I came to pick him up – we will most definitely come back.

The ladies at Pamper Your Pet handle my crazy puppy amazingly! They are so patient and go at his pace with what he is comfortable with. He got the most amazing first full body cut today at 7 months old. I know it was no easy task as I brush him every other day, but he looks so handsome. I couldn’t be happier!

This place is amazing been coming here for about 7 years now. My dog was injured at his old groomers and the groomers here especially the owner she takes him in even though he's a little snippy at times and she takes real good care of him. she is the only groomer that my dog lets groom amazing place highly recommend it.

January 9,2023 was the first time we used Pamper your Pet Grooming services and will not be the last. The place was clean. The receptionist was friendly. She responded to all the questions we asked making us comfortable with our decision.We picked up our dog , Cooper- Toy Poodle , smelling clean, soft with a great poodle cut and thank you to Emilia,the groomer for a job well done.We got everything we wanted and peace of mind knowing he was safe and treated well.

Friendly, professional and always accommodating! We have a 1 year old 60 pound Labradoodle who has a lot of energy and isn’t the easiest to groom but they do a fantastic job! He leaves happy and so do we. Highly recommend If you’re looking for a great grooming salon in town.
