Sometimes they have what you need and sometimes they don’t. Sometimes staff is helpful and sometimes they aren’t. Usually crowded and has a line to check out, but it moves fast. It’s worth setting up a free pro account if you are a pro. They have a good app that detects when you’re in a and switches to a mode where it helps you find your way around that particular store. Prices might seem good and some are, but beware they get you on some things. Always check prices on your phone before buying anything more than a few dollars.The Union Vauxhall location is their flagship store, so if you're going to go to Home Depot, this is the one to go to (although if you go to Newark sales tax is reduced by 50%, but you will suffer a little for the savings). I was told that it's the largest Home Depot, period.If you're spending money on power tools and it's during the day, there are actually sales reps for the different tool brands (from my experience, they're always young women). The reps are actually helpful in navigating the features and capabilities of various models. Even better, they will help you find discounts and promotional pricing for what you need.Lumber -- there are better places to buy lumber, but in a pinch or for just a few things, they're OK.Steel -- do not buy steel from Home Depot (go to Newark Steel and Ornamental).Automotive -- I have found their pricing to be competitive with most retail auto parts stores.Electrical supply -- Not the best pricing, but acceptable for small orders or if you don't have time to make another stop at an electrical supply store.

My husband and I had a great experience at the Home Depot in Vauxhall Union New Jersey. We picked out our washer and dryer within a half hour! The facts Were presented to us, pros & cons And it was very easy for us to decide. Thank you toPauline @Home Depot Design Ctr in Vauxhall and Shemeka who also gave us great advice on the warranty and so much more!

Worst Home Depot experience myself and my husband have had so far. Online said item was in stock, called and confirmed that item ***was in stock.*** Drove over an hour because they claimed to have this specific item. We urgently needed this item to help mitigate further damage to our home, so we did what we could and traveled. Arrived, couldn’t find item on shelf, asked from help from an associate and they completely ignored my husband. The associate walked away as fast as they could. We tried to get their attention thinking they didn’t hear us but to no avail, they looked at us and continued to fast walk away from us, completely ignoring us. So- we had to find another associate, and they weren’t able to help. So they called another associate. While they were helping search for the item (said 5+ in stock), another customer interrupted us, and both associates just walked away to help the other customers, leaving my husband with absolutely no assistance. Absolutely bizarre.Needless to say, we will never be returning to this location again. I’ve previously worked for The Home Depot at another location and am appalled by how we were treated, especially my husband.If you can find another THD, make sure to go there. This place is an absolute mess and the lack of assistance in a SUPERSTORE is beyond frustrating and disappointing. I’m glad we don’t ever have to frequent this one. As someone who is physically disabled, It was an absolute nightmare to navigate as well.Edit:: We also had the manager call us and they ended up finding the item we needed after all and once we went to another THD and already bought the part. They apologized for the employees, but we still will never go back there because of what a mess it was ti deal with it all. I usually leave places 5 stars, and rarely if ever leave a 1 star - but these guys really dropped the ball when we really needed their help.

It's very clean. People were helpful, I was able to be in and out in 7 mins. It's home Depot husband seems to take hour or more there, does anyone else's for just a screw, haha.

This is absolutely the worst Home Depot. I went in to purchase blinds that needed to be cut and NO ONE in the entire store was trained to do this at the time I was there. After being told to ask different people who all called over the intercom, I was finally told that “the person” who did that left. Seriously?!!! Not one of the many people sitting around looking at their phones was trained to do this. This is absolutely unacceptable. You can do it, we can help…no not really.

Home Depot lies about its prices. The store clearly marked that water softener salt bags cost $8.07 (instead of the $8.97 regular price) if you buy 6 or more. I purchased 6 bags and was charged the full price. The store employees explained that was deliberately intentional to me and another customer who did the same. $6 is a small amount but now I cannot trust that any of the prices are correct and will be honored by the store. It seems to me that Home Depot should either (i) change the price tag so that customers are not deceived about the bulk price and buy more bags or (ii) let customers use the bulk price, even if that would slightly reduce the company's $16 billion of annual earnings.

I have been coming to this Home Depot for a decade, and have done business with Home Depot brand for decades, this Home Depot has gotten really bad with the customer service, the employees they have hire in the recent few years, I have never experience such terrible customer service, from when you ask employees for help with something and give you nasty attitude for asking help, they look like they don’t want to be at work, as a customer the customer experience a business gives you determines if you want to continue to comeback to do business, definitely will be cutting ties with Home Depot, would rather do business with their competitor, this Home Depot needs to retrain all their employees on friendly customer service.

Went today 2/10/.24.Had not been there in a looong time.I was pleasantly surprised, I was told correct lane my object was..I even saw several workers ask me if I needed help.And found product ,I never found at Lowes..Several ppl at self checkout that were ACTUALLY helpful. I think I will go there from now on for my hardware/cleaning products.Surprised me in this world of stores with poor customer service..Keep up the good job

So, apparently, according to Modern Marvel's, this is the largest Home Depot on the planet.. but it is also in a flood zone. Which isn't the problem. The problem is that corporate never replaced the lock keying machine that was ruined in the flood, and I couldn't key my door knobs, so with that said, I didn't even buy them.5☆'s for the employees. 3☆'s for corporate! Shame on you. Replace their damaged machine so you can sell doorknobs again.

The poor customer review scores on here make total sense. I only stopped at this Home Depot because it was close to a Target where I ordered something online for pickup. All I needed were copies of keys for my new apartment and screws to hang curtains. I find the screws aisle and the first employee I see, before I even open my mouth, tells me they don't work in that department. OK thanks. She did offer to find someone after a minute or so of me struggling to find what I was looking for, but she couldn't find anyone after several minutes.So I get my keys copied from the machine by the entrance. I made 2 copies of the same key -- ALL were brass and $2.98.I went through self checkout and all 1 of the brass keys rang up at $3.98. The self checkout attendant called over the manager and she examined the keys and told me that the barcode on one is different, makes sense. It said it was a painted key, when it was clearly brass. I thought at this point she would override the charge but she insisted there was nothing she could do it was obviously correct (as if machines and the people who replenish the key supply of said machine can't make a mistake)?I gently pushed back saying that doesn't make sense, they're clearly the same key but she was not budging so I went ahead and purchased the keys, but needed her to void a few since she had rescanned them to see what the issue was. She was so condescending when it came to removing the extra keys and acted like I created this massive inconvenience (trust me, ma'am, I didn't ask for this). She proceeded to shout to everyone in the self checkout area how this is her last day for 2 weeks as she's getting on a plane tomorrow and going on vacation. So clearly she was checked out and I was caught in the crossfire of her bad attitude.I know we're only talking $1.00 here, but it's the principle of the thing. Good news is I took it to another Home Depot and they saw it was clearly an error and they rectified the situation.Including a picture of the keys below for reference.

The biggest Home Depot in the country what's not to love!! This store really is a sight to see with all of the displays inside. If the local Home Depot or Lowe's stores don't have it, this store will! The sheer size of this building is unbelievable and the amount of tools is insane. Definitely worth a drive to check this place out!

Worst experience. Placed an order for 6 items for store pickup. Supposed to be ready within 2 hours. I came the next day, only 2 items were ready. One was showing available but actually not in stock. I was told someone was picking other items but an hour later, they were still not ready. Nobody knew what they were doing. Will never trust this store again.

Can someone help me get this lattice down? It’s in aisle 37, bin 21. The shelf is empty, you do not list online, but it’s clearly sitting up on a shelf. I came to the store and spent an hour begging multiple workers to help get this down but no one would help me.

This particular store never has what I am looking for. But today was different. I needed a large order of drywall and the store employees were quick to arrange for a forklift to load my order along with a rental truck. And did not start charging for the truck rental until I was completely loaded and pulling out of the parking lot. So today I will give the store 5 stars. Hopefully they can keep up the good work.

Found what I needed though there was a very small variety. Went to self checkout and told the worker there that "I got it" meaning I could do it myself since it is SELF checkout. She told me there's no more self checkout, she had to do it. Mind you, there were two other customers there doing self checkout themselves. If they're so concerned with people stealing, they need to do a better job watching people and actually checking recipts at the door.Also fix the card machines so that people can pay with their phones, I should have to use my card

Loved that the pick up is so easy when you order online. The store is always clean and the employees I've encountered are amazing. The signs in the store are big enough so you can find the things you need easily.
