So I purchased online and only went in for a store pick up. As soon as I walked in looking around, I was greeted with a smile, good energy, and a little snake. I checked out within a min. It was such a speedy process and great energy, I don't remember the store associate's name, but he had glasses and a ponytail. He was great !

Please report this store. The state of the reptiles in this establishment is deplorable. I think the pictures speak for themselves. I believe the staff doesn’t even notice that these creatures are in discomfort and basically agonizing in their enclosures. They’re full of waste, critters are bleeding, and some are petrified with stuck shed. I have reported them and so should you.

Scam artists who do not honor online pricing. Additionally, the manager Christine was rude and offered no assistance. They have more then 10 in stock but stated they cannot update the order in stor and I have to wait 3-5 business days for a refund. Never again, only Petsmart moving forward.

My husband bought me a 40 gallon tank for my birthday and so we went to this petco yesterday to pick it up. In checking out with the tank and my new pet shrimp, the cashier Amanda was awesome. I explained that my hobby fish are pea puffers and she gave me some awesome recommendations that I am excited to potentially include in my new gigantic tank. Additionally, the ghost shrimp I was getting was accidentally marked as a rainbow shrimp and instead of charging me the high price for the rainbow shrimp, she went and double checked the price of the ghost shrimp and charged me the actual price which came to one whole dollar. She was honest and kind. Amanda really made the experience awesome and she is an asset to the store. I’m not normally one for chain stores but this Petco is doing it right with the customer service.

I placed order ONLINE—FOR. DELIVERY TO THE HOUSE. I DID THIS BECAUSE THE STORE WAS OUT OF STOCK OF ITEM ACCORDING TO WEB SITE. PETCO cancelled the order without explanation ON SUNDAY. The credit card was valid. So I then RECHECKED STORE WEBSITE and saw the item was now in stock. I placed ONLINE ORDER ON WEDNESDAY MORNING. It went thru. I arrived at store 8 hrs later to discover the order was not received by store. I wish I could say this was the 1st time this happened, but sadly it is not. It is the reason, why I have cut the amt I order from Petco, by 50%. Perhaps I have to sacrifice the small discount and go with another store/company. Remember, you asked about my experience.

The staff here are nice and helpful. We also come here for puppy training classes with Shante. She really knows how to read each dog's personality and needs. We love Shante!

They look for any excuse to not do a grooming. Laziness. If the dog has mats or a knot, they won’t even look at them. They just want to shave them down like a rat to avoid the work. Never going back here. They kept rejecting every dog in front of me as well. Any reason to not take them. Then when they go out of business people will wonder why.

Kind of rude employee, I wanted to buy five goldfish, she coldly asked how big is my tank, then coldly said she can only do one (maybe because my 2 gallon tank is too small). Then I asked how about the smaller fish, she said “ these are minnows, you don’t want these”, fine, I’ll just leave

Sales associate joey was very rude. During my purchase for new cichlids for my second aquarium. It was both my fiance and Is day off so we were in no rush. We approached Joey (who was cleaning a tank) and asked if whenever he had a chance he could help us grab a couple cichlids. There was only one other gentlemen looking around in the aquatics aisle. I went to browse other sections while my fiance waited for the four cichlids I picked out. When he came back I noticed the only all black cichlid in the tank, I chose was not in the bag. I asked my fiance (who realized Joey was not happy to help, and just wanted to get out of the store) if we could just go back and ask for the black convict cichlid because we live a distance from the store and may not have the opportunity to come back right away. He then asked Joey once again for another fish to which he (cleaning a tank) didn't even look up at my fiance to acknowledge our presence and angrily said, "Which one?" When we showed him what we wanted my fiance kindly asked if he could grab the two biggest cichlids in the tank to which he replied in a monotone manner, "I'll do what I can." I immediately left my fiance standing with joey to ask for the manager Tim, the cashier a young lady unsure of her name was sweet and very apologetic (even having done nothing wrong) but mentioned perhaps joey was just having a bad day because someone called out. I don't think this excuses ANYONE to interact with others like that. He never even bothered to ask what other fish I have in my tank if they would be compatible tank mates did not care about well-being of the fish. NOTHING. Never once saw Tim the store manager after having asked for him. Extremely disappointed. However I love my cichlids and they have been getting along just swimmingly with my parrotfish (pun intended)

I don't know what's going on here.The store and the pets are in need of attention, not sure if the are short staffed or what, but the fish water looks green on the first tanks you see when walking into the store.It is sad, but I don't know what's going on ther.

Highly disappointed and dissatisfied with the Grooming services at this location. Not a good representation of the Petco brand. The wait time for my pup to be seen and groomed was extremely long even with an online booking. When voicing my concerns, the manager’s tone and resolve was rude, passive, and ineffective not to mention my pup was not groomed according to the additional services paid for and specified on the site/in store. We’ve visited this store prior, which is why we returned, due to great service before, but this recent visit was rough and caused major frustration and anxiety.Petco needs to do better training its employees, fix the online booking to be reflect more accurate and efficient times/availability and show more compassion and understanding for the customers and pets they service just a little more.

Bought a catfish. Had to wait as there was no one attending the department. Once I asked at the front desk, somebody from the back room did come. I would suggest that dead fish be removed from the aquariums first thing every morning.

Very nice place and the workers are very helpful. I went there because my dog wasn't feeling well and the dog trainer apparently knew what she was talking about. The product I bought for my dog was the right thing he's feeling much better.

The store was difficult to navigate with a shopping cart. Many aisles blocked/ clogged with empty boxes, stacks of unpacked boxes, hand trucks, etc.The main aisle up the middle was blocked by an employee with a big cart/ dolly chatting with customers.It was pretty ridiculous. I don’t recall ever being stressed by not being able to maneuver a shopping cart at nearly every turn.I took pics to post on Yelp but didn’t have the energy to waste more time on it.

Horrible treatment of animals. All the reptiles were in poor conditions; droppings all over, crickets running around, and most of them were housed in calcium sand, which should be known, is very bad for some lizards, especially leopard geckos, as you can see they just leave sickly and dying leopard geckos on display (not to mention half of these animals were all housed bunched up together without many hides). Hamster wheels full of droppings, and bird cages uncleaned. I am very dissappointed and feel bad for all these poor animals.

Good experience. Cat needed food and I was hungry. Panda Express is right next door so I got my food and then went here. Things are getting pricey. Yikes! I decided to try their "house brand" called Wholehearted. Looked up reviews which are pretty good. Very reasonably priced and there are several flavors in minced,morsels, pate and dry. 1st time at this location. Shelves well stocked and orderly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Hope my little guy likes the food.
