It is, sadly, rare these days to have the opportunity to interact with people like the people at Discus Madness.From the moment I placed my order until I received the fish, everything was done to make my experience a positive one.The fish arrived in perfect condition and were the most gorgeous specimens. They were larger than I expected.I followed the included instructions to acclimate them to my aquarium and they began to swim and become active, immediately.I would highly recommend this resource for your ichthyological needs.Bill

They were the only store, locally or online, that had Red Tiger Severums available.Although they don't check their IG messages too regularly, that was how I communicated with them at first. Very responsive and professional. I could only assume I was chatting with the owner.I ended up purchasing six, overnight delivery and all fish were healthy and active!!Fast forward a few weeks later and all are thriving!!I will do business with then again!

Showed me the showroom and of course I walked out with 5 Gorgeous Discus fish. All healthy, colorful and energetic. I just purchased 4 beautiful and very healthy discus from discus madness March 18 2023 and let me tell you every fish looked so healthy and very colorful. The tanks are very clean and very well maintained. I highly recommend discus madness. I will definitely be back to buy more discus. Staffs very professional and kind and very helpful. So many beautiful discus to choose from, wish I could buy them all. It was so hard to chose, thats how healthy and beautiful they were. My 4 new discus are in a quarantine tank and all 4 ate the very next day and so far are eating any discus food I give them. That's a great sign of healthy discus. Thank you discus madness..MARCH 22 2023 - just went back to discus madness with my 2yr old grandson and my wife and picked up 4 more beautiful discus, that's how healthy these discus are. the first 4 I bought march 18 are doing excellent and are eating like piranha's. their so bright and colorful. I love the fact that staff are so patient and allow you to pick your discus...I am hooked to discus madness. I drive 40 minutes from Staten island and its definitely worth it. I'll be back next week to pick up 2 or 3 more..thank you discus madness.my tank setup is a bare bottom 150 gallon xtra high with a 40 gallon breeder sump. bottom of main tank is painted white and so easy to keep clean.APRIL 9 2023 fish are doing great and eating well. I had to go back to discus madness and pick up 2 more discus..I bought 2 WHITE DRAGONS and their so beautiful and healthy..

Hi . Just wanted to leave a review. Don’t do many at all so it is a rarity but want to say I ordered online a yellow maze discus pair and the fish were delivered perfectly . Packaged separately with plenty of water . Fish have been healthy and after a couple days already laying eggs . Highly recommend and are quick with responses .

Such high quality fish!! My discus are so happy and healthy! The coloring is also vibrant. Got these guys for a great price for their size. I won't buy fish anywhere else, especially Discus! Love this place so much. These guys also make their own food for the fish which is AWESOME!

Ordered a black ram and some nice plants online in Florida. Over night shipping was only30 dollars. Fish came triple packaged and wrapped very secure in a cooler. After acclimating for a couple hours , my fish is amazing , healthy , and very happy. Eating right away with the other rams . I swear these people picked one of the most beautiful fish they had, lots of mixed in colors and not a just born fish, but still a juvenile . Plants were also healthy and as described . Overall I’m really happy, I don’t really leave reviews but I just wanted to share that I gave these guys a shot , and they did a really good job. I will most definitely be back. Thanks fellas .

Excellent store. First time there and will surely be back. Great selection of healthy fish. The staff was friendly, informative and patient. They do recommend you let them know ahead of time if you're making a trip over. Store is well kept. They do not carry any African Cichlids at the moment.

Awesome! The facility is clean, will kept and very organized. The aquatic life they have is just absolutely impeccable! A wide variety of beautiful healthy well kept fish and other aquatic life. I recommend visiting then if you love fish keeping or aquascaping.

The customer service I have received here is absolutely top-notch. Constant communication, helpful tips and suggestions, very fast shipping, and all sorts of nice things to make you feel valued as a customer. On top of that, the Zebra pleco I received is absolutely gorgeous. I know ordering fish online can be a touchy subject. If you are hesitant to order a fish online from these guys, don’t be!

Got the discus bundle of 12 for my 125 gallon, all 12 arrived alive in Kansas City MO and are still alive nearly a month later, however there is 1 red melon that doesn't eat or swim with the others. I do have some peppering to some but that was expected with a dark substrate.

I ordered 5 discus from Discus Madness. One of them didn't ship well and I contacted them with pictures showing the fish. They didn't hesitate at all in sending me another fish with the next order which I placed 6 days after my first order. This was my first time ever purchasing live fish online for my tank. Mathias at Discus Madness walked me through every step, explained everything, I learned a lot. I purchased 6 Synodontis Lucipinnis bred locally. I felt very confident and even when Fedex was unreliable, shipment arrived in 2 days instead of overnight, the fish had been properly prepared, medicated & sedated. It was very obvious that they weren't at all stressed (unlike me). I followed the detailed acclimation process instructions included with the shipment and when I released them into the tank they dove for cover under the edge of the bio-sponge. But within 2 hours they were out and exploring the new tank and all the hiding spots. They seem happy and content with no signs of stressful behavior. Great experience!

I must say that Discus Madness provided me one of the best online discus purchase experiences I've had to date. Communication was excellent throughout the process and the delivery was spot on. I ordered: Large White dragon/ EX large Red Dragon/ EX large Blue Face San Merah / EX Large Blue Diamond / Extra Large Green Diamond. The fish arrived healthy and alert. After two days, they began to feed on blood worms and then pellets soon after. Now, I am happy overall and will use MADNESS as my go to Discus supplier in the future. Only positive things to say about Discus Madness! For years I have dreamed about one day having a large discus tank. With the time right, we did some research looking to setup a tank for our family car dealership in the Bronx. We were nervous about buying live fish online, but after looking all over, Discus Madness impressed us the most.They have a fantastic option to purchase 8 juvenile discus for $200 plus $50 to overnight ship them. Mathias was very hands on prior to delivery and gave us great information to put the fish in the best situation to thrive. You get to pick 3 color strains of the 8 you receive. We expressed to Mathias how important color variety was to us, especially with no yellow option available with this package purchase. All 8 fish arrived alive and healthy, safety packaged in an insulated styrofoam box, and MATHIAS INCLUDED A YELLOW DISCUS! The color selection is perfect and so diverse. Thinking I would get tiny <2.5 inch Discus, the fish were slightly larger and full beauties!I strongly recommend purchasing a large plastic container or secondary tank with a bubbler and heater to properly age your water for water-changes (Mathias #1 tip). This allows you to naturally perfect your water quality so your fish thrive. I also purchased a UV Sterilizer to combat algae bloom since my tank is in a bright, naturally lit office.Now a month later and our fish look AMAZING! No casualties, and all have a great appetite! They are the perfect addition to our office and our customers love watching them almost as much as we do! THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE TO PURCHASE DISCUS FROM! I made the two hour trip to get this place, and I was not disappointed. The COVID safety measures were on point and it was kinda nice having the space to review the stocks in peace.The tanks were clean and fish were very healthy. The staff especially Brian, were helpful, knowledgeable and really connected to understand my aquarium before I purchased.I found one of my dream fish San Merah and an extra find a Brilliant Blue.Totally worth the trip!
