People seriously need to boycott this store. First of all, the employees are miserable but I’m convinced that’s a requirement to get a job there. The biggest issue is the prices. They’re not just price gouging, that store is literally robbing people blind. Charging $8.00 for a regular size jar of mayonnaise? $14.99 for a squeeze bottle of Chipotle sauce? Are you kidding me? This is blatant greed on the part of greedy owners who are capitalizing on a bad economy and also banking on stupid people who will continue to shop there. I will party for a month if this place ever closes down.

Good for a quick trip. Not a favorite. Staff is always the same grouchy people. Not customer friendly for refunds or rainchecks or assistance in the store. Very slow customer service. Sometimes you feel invisible when they are talking and make you wait. Some of the staff have been there too long. The older women behind the counter are not friendly nor helpful.

Gnats swarming outside and Inside bread stand In viewing range of deli employees. Rotten cantaloupe with fruit Flys and gnats all over them along with peaches. Even the onions were covered in them. Definitely won't be buying produce here.

I bought prepackaged meat from the deli and when i got home, it had a strong weird smell and the salami was grey. The label said it wasnt expired but it definitely was left out somewhere and put back.When I returned it to the story, the customer service lady just made a face when I told her the issue. Didn't say anything to me and just gave me a refund. I had issues before from this store. I only go here because its close to my house and I honestly hate shoprite but they need to check their products. Not the 1st time I bought expired food from here.Edit: Jan 2024 I found milk that had expired in Sept 2023 along with pudding that expired 2 months ago. Also their employees are creepy. There was a guy barking and hiwling as he was putting away the eggs then got mad cause I handed him the exired udding while letting him know it was expired. If you have to shop here check your dates.

Always go to Hamilton Square Acme happen to be in area of Yardville and stopped there. I buy Ground beef all the time. labeled 85 % Did not look like 85% cooked it was so full of grease had to be mis marked.Dog treats marked in red 75% off got to register sale price did not come off. I was in hurry told cashier just take it off. Person in back of me- same thing sale price on his item did not come off. I was bagging my purchase and girl came out from office and was nasty to that customer!I will avoid that Acme going forward!!

I love their app and curbside pickup service. Very fast and friendly people. I can shop from my couch, pick up my order in about an hour and they come out with my groceries in less than 5 minutes.

All I want to know is why this Acme is laid out just like a ShopRite. I came here specifically to avoid that kind of nonsensical layout.I just moved here and now I'm sad.Also my boyfriend asked me if the produce was always like that. I had to tell him that, yes he didn't just come on a bad day. And now he is sad.

Never minded paying a little bit more here because the employees are super helpful, the meats are always good and the meat department always go out of their way. Up until very recently the produce department has been top notch but the past few times it’s been very sub-par. Dried out spongy asparagus, less of a selection, brown Romaine lettuce, etc. I haven’t seen the normal lady who works there so maybe that’s the problem but today I had to leave and go to Shop Rite for what I needed because what they had was so bad. Hope this changes before I have to switch for good.

No fresh fried chicken ever and they always close the ghat section early. Ghe associates kept us waiting while they worked in the back. Just rude. ruined my dinner plans more than once. I guess I'll call first to see if thier hot foods department is open at 3pm before I drive over

Worst Acme I've been in. Cashier had an attitude from we got to the counter because my 5 year old wanted to know the correct price for some ice pops. Then gave her my Acme card to scan on their phone app, had issues so I entered phone number wasn't going through. So nonnof their discounts were applying to our purchase. The manager came and it still wasn't working and she just said: "I don't know why it's not working, call the 1 800 number, maybe they can help" took the products and placed them behind the counter and said "have a nice day" just dry like that, no offer to assist any further, no let me apply discounts manually, NOTHING 🙄🙄

This Acme Supermarket was in Yardsville + completely out of my home area. Was visiting with family. In comparison with the metro area that I come from (North -Central) Jersey this store was a 'hick' store. Couldn't believe that the foods I always took for granted they just didn't carry at all. I guess they cater to the tastes of the locals. For one thing - at the Deli counter the selection of roasted turkey was limited to the store's brand + one other. Next, I hoped to get a couple of popular brands of frozen entrees. They just had Nothing even remotely like it. I thought ' This store doesn't seem to believe in carrying good name brands'?Bake shop wasn't too bad - a box of Nabisco Grahams was 5 bucks. I got a bag of frozen Organic spinach + was out of there. ..to each his own, but there 'are' advantages to living in the crazy, hectic North Jersey towns !

I've given 5 stars because there is the nicest, kindest, most helpful employee in the produce department! Every time I go there he's smiling and ALWAYS willing to help! Last year he filled my daughter's birthday cake, cookie and dessert order, this year, they were out of fruit platters for her party and he went straight to the back and made one fresh while I waited! I wish I got his name, he deserves employee of the Year for sure!!! My ONLY complaint with ACME is that they're more price than the other grocery chains and don't carry some of what I shop for.

This particular Acme always seems a bit disappointing to me. It is an older store, so smaller in size... which means it must limit stock because of limited space. I understand this.But it means that every time I have visited, there were things on my list that I could not acquire here. This makes me want to avoid shopping here any time other than when I might need a very few basics and happen to already be in the area.There are other larger, extensively well stocked markets that I am willing to travel outside my own town for shopping at.Otherwise, this store seems clean and organized.Probably a fine and convenient location for locals who need the basic pantry staples.

This was a great visit as I was looking for holiday food. I found some pies sweet potato and apple pie which went good with the ice cream that I bought I also found the meatballs which I thought were good for the football games that ensued after the Thanksgiving meal and overall it was very pleasing I'm very satisfying and the store was clean. The staff was very kind everybody was in a festive mood despite having to work on Thanksgiving Eve. The price was economical it wasn't too expensive I brought everything and came in under $100 so I thought it was a good expense for the holiday.

The only place besides Costco I buy my frozen shrimp! There's always a sale & they have great taste! Love my shrimp scampi! Bakery cookies are also delicious 😋

Good selection of products. Both organic and conventional produce. Seasonal items and floral shop. Opened until 11pm (10pm Sunday), Pharmacy, 9am–8pm. Good service, and if you need boxes for moving, customer service will save them for you.

I can't do 100% of my shopping here, but it's near where I'm living now, so I stop in to get a few things. But I leave frustrated often. Friendly staff. Prices trend higher here, unless it's something on sale or discounted. I tend to stick with those for the most part. Their organic fruit and vegetable section is the only organic food in this area. As with many other supermarkets, it's hit or miss.

This store has become masterful in disrespecting their customers. I shop early in the day to avoid the crowds and the management at this store has not only removed the self service checkout, but also reduced the check out staff to one. Anyone else is hiding out of sight and management is invisible. Today, I left my basket on the ground because I had had enough. Shop Rite at least treats you as though they want you as a customer.

My favorite place to shop. They redone the produce section and they added presliced meats and cheeses for pick up and go. That's a plus. I noticed the up dated the eggs, by putting them in doored refrigerators. Better improvements.

It's OK. Just a quick place to get a cpl things. In and out. Usually one or two lanes open. Even when it's a busy day. And forget about getting fresh fried chicken at 6pm. I Usually go to the acme in Bordentown for fried chicken.
