Horrible service. Waited an hour beyond my appt for COVID vaccine. No one cared or told us what was going on or why it was delayed for so long. Pharmacist was much slower and more inefficient than any pharmacists we have encountered when administering vaccine/boosters. The “patient health room” needed a good cleaning.Such a disappointment.

So some Walgreens are excellent. I was going to one of them in egg harbor township and me and my wife kinda are taking a break so I’m in Toms River and being a 24 hour pharmacy ANY medication(controlled or no controlled should be filled at any time of the day) that’s one issue. The other issue Michael the pharmacy manager is rude and obnoxious with his slick back hair to think who he is is. Looks like he use to be a junkie himself and ANYONE who comes in with a controlled substance gets looked at wrong and it’s not right. Even my 60 year old mother. But this isn’t as far as I’m going. This is going to cooperate. And I’m in the customer satisfaction business myself and if nothing changes I will continue to call and call and call and call until something is done because it’s ridiculous. People need there medicine and they refuse them and do them when THEY decide they’re ready and it’s wrong. This will NOT be the end of me or my mother or my fiancé or my son who all use Walgreens

Esther K the pharmacist was amazing. My wife has a serious blood disorder and at bedtime on our first night in Atlantic city discovered she forgot her pills. We panicked and I thought of walgreens where we get her prescriptions. I found this, the only 24 hour pharmacy in the area. Esther was so understanding and offered to have us pick them up the next day in AC but one pill could not be missed so Esther did all the insurance requests and told us replacements were approved and we took the hour drive to pick them up. Our thanks to Esther K for saving our trip and my wife's health as well. Thank her.

Were very helpful! Just moved here and her goodrx didn't transfer? Bill was $294 but when the young lady asked if she had Rx, she went to pharmacist and he enrolled her on the spot! $74 was new total!!!

Not only were they incompetent, I was buying an at home covid test and the cashier thought it would be a good idea to tell me the government was just trying to control us with covid. It's not real! Just do your job and keep your opinions to yourself! Apparently the pickings are slim for qualified workers. I won't be visiting that branch again.

The Pharmacist here is refusing to fill a valid prescription because I live 16 miles away and there is a closer location to my home. Pharmacist is claiming it is walgreens policy to refuse prescriptions if you don't live in the Town and that they have been directed to do so by the DEA. The pharmacy were I live is out of stock of my medication and recommended that I fill it at another location.

If I could give this store ZERO stars, I would! I feel so bad for the staff working for a manager who doesn't know what he's doing. He also doesn't know how to talk to people nicely or professionally. I had to call the corporate office on this manager- Kevin. They were baffled when I told them my experience with this guy! He tried calling me after that... (I'm assuming after the corporate office had spoken with him) but I had no interest in speaking with Kevin ever again. I love Walgreens.... I'm probably one of their best customers! But trust me... THIS store is awful. Even other customers were having major issues with what was going on in there! Read the other reviews and that should tell ya how bad this place is ! 🤷

I travel a bit farther, past two pharmacies, to this Walgreens because I value the competency of the staff. I tried the other pharmacies, but did not trust them with my husbands complex needs. The pharmacists and techs really listen.

Something needs to be done about the delays and discord at this location. They are truly disorganized and even though the staff is friendly they are making too many mistakes. I dropped off two rx's before noon and was told 2pm. At 440 after being told my rxs would be ready ant to wait only one was ready. The other seemingly got put aside. Now I have to go back again. These were prescriptions that were needed today as soon as possible. I heard 3 other people who were also having major issues. I get most of our prescriptions by mail but in an emergency if we need a prescriptionall they do is disappoint. Something is not right at this location. They need to investigate why they can not fill a two simple prescription and have it ready in a reasonable amount of time. I am foolish for continuing to go to this location. There were some very ill individuals, a cancer patient and a caregiver away from her husband in there for hoursand had been forgotten. SMH so disappointed

Left 2 scripts on Friday@ 11am, was told be ready in 2 hours. No call no text by 9pm that evening. Called n was told was still not ready. Not bc they didn't have the penicillin but bc they were very busy..Hire more people!! Not acceptable

I used to work for this company… all I have to say is, what should take them a minute, takes them a half n hour. I have been standing in line, while their are hardly any techs working, with people behind me in line for 30 minutes.. it shouldn’t taken 30 minutes to input a vaccine input , I used to do this job. It takes a minute or two…. They are not properly trained CLEARLY or it would not take this long. I have personally done it and know how it works. They need to hire more people who are able to multitask , but apparently they don’t offer jobs to people who actually want to do the work.

Apparently if you live in Brick 20 minutes away they can’t take your prescription and fill it. You are considered out of area when I’m the same county? I guess they just don’t want to work. Can’t believe they would deny a prescription from a doctors office. Being that they are right outside of a resort area I would hate to see what they do to vacationers when this is how they treat residents in the same county.

Went with 2scripts to fill Christmas Eve from an emergency trip to Community Medical Center for my son around 8:45 pm. Was told the wait would be an hour and they’d text when it was ready. After no text, and numerous phone calls unanswered to them finally at 10:15pm someone answered after 10 more minutes on hold I was told both scripts were out of stock!! I told person on the phone this was unacceptable, someone should have called us and told us they were out of stock and discussed our options. She had just got on shift and wasn’t aware what happened. She called the CVS, thankfully they had both and transferred scripts to them. We picked up scripts and finally got home at 11:45pm and administered the meds to our son. Will NEVER go back to this very incompetent pharmacy again!

When I needed medication at 2am, I was able to get great service from this location. However, I have been transferred at least 5x for a prescription that's meant to be home delivery that no one can seem to find or provide me information about. Very unsatisfied.

I understand this location is busy and short on staff. However, after having a wisdom tooth extraction, the pharmacy would not fill the RX and said it would be a few hours. 7 hours later I called the pharmacy and they said pick up in 20 min. Only 1 of 2 RX were ready and I was told the other would probably be tomorrow. Really? I can get an Amazon delivery in less time. I will move my drug plan to a different provider. Walgreens does not care. Very poorly run location as most Walgreens now seem to be.

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars and not 1 is because the doctor who gave me the booster was very nice and answered all my questions.I waited an hour and a half to get my booster. My appt was at 2:45, I was next in line for 35 minutes waiting to check in, and once I checked in I had to wait another hour. The pharmacy was backed up with prescriptions. If this is the case, the staff should be upfront about it. If you plan on getting your vaccinations here, don't expect them to be quick about it.

Super helpful and cheerful staff, my refill wasn’t covered by insurance and I really needed it. It’s not my main pharmacy but they had me in and out of there and helped me to save over a hundred dollars on medicine I needed right away. I left a negative comment on Google about the Walgreens in bayville today so I feel it’s important to leave a positive one here and give credit where it’s due. I may go out of my way to come to this pharmacy from now on

If i could Give 0 stars i would. This pharmacy gives the worst experience every single time. My son has the flu, doctor sent in a preparation at 9 am and i called At 4 pm to see if it was done. “It will be ready in a half hour”… went that night, 10 cars in the drive through. Sat for 15 minutes and not a single car had moved yet. So i left. my husband went back this morning to get the prescription… and now they’re saying “we don’t have that medicine in stock” after telling me it would be ready for me to pick up! Awful pharmacy.

THEY MAKE SO MUCH MONEY THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT 1 CUSTOMER. I have been a customer for 10 years - switched my insurance and clerk was too busy to give me 30 seconds to help. My companies benefits coordinator told me they recommend our employees DO NOT USE WALGREENS because there is always a problem (over 1000 employees). They called the store and this clerk told them she was too busy to get on the phone with the insurance company. When people are too busy they make mistakes - I don't want my pharmacist making mistakes. I will never use them again

I’m a frequent shopper at this Walgreens location, and never have any complaints. Staff is always friendly, courteous & professional.Tonight, Dave, (who appeared to be in a management position) went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my service received.I ordered prints online from the photo department, & when I arrived (3 minutes after the quoted pick up time), they weren’t ready. Without hesitation, Dave offered an apology, as well as a discount for the mishap, and promptly prepared my order.Customer service like this is few & far between these days, & I feel like it should be recognized & applauded. So thanks again Dave, & Walgreens on Rt 37 😊

Went in to pick refill on my husband's insulin. It normally cost us $45 after insurance. When the woman told me $235 I said there is manufacturer coupon that should be applied. She looked in the history and told me there wasn't. Well apparently there wasn't history because they gave him a different medication without his consent or knowledge! Now we are out $190 & unsure of the different medication. When he contacted the store they told him there was nothing they could do. I WILL find the proper agency to report this to. They take forever to fill prescriptions in the 1st place now they give different meds without so much as even telling you!!! Not like they let you check it before you pay for it either!

It seems that this location does not have enough staff in the pharmacy department since going 24 hours. It took almost a day to have a new prescription filled and I had to call twice. There is always a line in pharmacy both inside and at the drive-up. The staff in pharmacy has become grumpy and unfriendly probably due to the working conditions. Wake up Walgreens. Management needs to access the situation and make improvements.

By far the most poorly run pharmacy I’ve ever been and whether it’s this location or the one in brick you don’t get out of there in less than 30 minutes absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable I’ve since moved all my things to CVS and it’s no issues they really need to get it together. Drive thru lanes literally take 35 minute minimum. And to make matters worse the pharmacy staff has to be the most unapologetic and nasty group of people

I got boxed in at the Walgreen drive through pharmacy, on hwy 37 in Toms River, NJ for over 30 min, on 12/30/21. The pharmacist allowed a woman to wait for her scripts to be filled. I couldn't back up to have a chance to leave or go to the other aisle. There were at least 7 cars if not more waiting in both aisles. When I got up to the window they were smug and did not care.

This started new years eve. They lied to my parents, which led to mother with copd being without her steroid inhaler for 3 days now.They are a pharmacy. They know you can't abruptly stop taking steroids. They offer no solution. To say they are inept is too kind. They are criminal. Did mom's fall yesterday come from coming off inhaler? Too soon to say.Believe me when I tell you that after 2 years of covid and being a nurse, we are tired. We are all tired. But if you stop doing your job right and complete, and leave the elderly out to dry, then maybe you shouldn't be pretending to care about people. This pharmacy is dangerous and they are liars.

These people have no sense of respect, responsibility or customer service. They have the worst attitudes especially in the pharmacy department. Their pharmacy department treats you like garbage as if you came to ruin their day. They need to replace that whole department. There’s no need to be mad at people for showing up and god forbid you have a question. I believe this place is the worst.
