Max loves Pampered Pets! He's high energy, very playful and mostly comes back tired after a daycare visit.. which is the goal! The staff are all so nice and professional, the environment is clean and safe. Max also had a great grooming session, he looked and smelled great! The only somewhat of an issue is the lack of live video to check on our babies throughout the day. It would be a great relief to check on them sporadically and Im sure will increase customer satisfaction in droves. I have spoken to other customers and it seems as though this is the main suggestion.Overall, We really do love this place, and appreciate everyone who makes it a great day for Max, even better for myself knowing he's getting socialized in a safe environment. Hi, I'm Maggie. I've been coming to Pampered Pets since I was six months old way back in 2013. I'm eight years old now and have met so many great friends. My favorite is dressing up for Halloween and pictures with Santa. Mom hangs my artwork on the refrigerator proudly. Come play with me soon!

This business runs like a well oiled machine. Very organized and professional with an emphasis on safety. I am new in the area and left my dog with them for 10 days. I will definitely feel comfortable leaving my dog with them again and highly recommend this business.

Great facilities for your pets. Terrific, caring people. There is one-on-one playtime available and they will administer any medications as well as feed your pets. We regrettably had to leave our dogs long term (seven days !) and we came back to happy, healthy pets ! Couldn't have been a better experience. Thank you Pampered Pets !

We've been bringing our Husky to Pampered Pets for boarding and grooming for 8 years. We have no complaints ever. Staff is friendly and the facility is clean. Our fur baby is very happy with them too!

Outstanding pet daycare.Vince runs a great operation.We have also left our dogs there for up to 3 weeks and they were very happy there.I take my dog in and he runs towards the girls who work there.She likes them more than me!Highly recommended.

We love Pampered Pets. It's local, clean, and the girls at the front are always super nice, BUT I do have one persistent dislike with them - they don't provide any photos or videos during a boarding stay with playtime! There's an area in their pet file for photos but it's always empty, even after asking for them. I've had to ask multiple times just to get a blurry picture from inside their room. :( We previously boarded our pups at Camp Bow Wow, where we were able to watch the playroom all day long. This is such a benefit and a relief while going away. We love to watch our dog play and interact with others. I've heard other pet parents that board and do daycare there have this same complaint as well. To the owners- PLEASE incorporate active photos/videos/text chats with pet parents. We pay good money to keep our pups with you and just want some photo/video reassurance that they are having a good time. I don't think it's too much to ask. Thank you for your services!

Our dog loves this place..runs right in when we drop her off.. staff is super nice .. rates depend on size of your dog / kennel needed but our reasonable for the area… very good with senior dogs show special attention and reach out with any issues

Have been going there for many years and have followed them everywhere they moved. My 3 dogs go for grooming and except for one misunderstanding few years back I have nothing but good things to say. I recommend it everytime someone asks where I take them for grooming. I have also left my German Shepherd for boarding many years ago n was very pleased

Pampered Pets Hospitality Center gets 5 PAWS!! I get so excited when my mom has a long day at work because I get to play with my 4 legged and 2 legged friends! The staff is super! They are always just as happy to see me as I am to see them! They even called to check on me when I wasn’t able to come to playgroup (I ate something I shouldn’t have at home )! My playgroup has dogs just like me (same size and energy level) and they have a playgroup for you too! The staff makes sure I eat my lunch each day and the even have special treats (puppy smoothies, carrots, treats and more!) for those days mom wants to spoil me! On days I’m looking a little “ruff” mom can book me a spot at the SPA! They always give me the perfect cut and tell mom I was a super good girl! Come play with me (or dogs just like you) maybe it will be a special theme day! Bubble day or water fun! Very nice staff, clean and no problems except their ridiculous rule that if you drop off your pet before 11am on the day you are boarding overnight at full prices you must pay an additional $20.00! Of you arrive at 10:40am or 7am $20.00. What is their cost for at worst 4 hours....none! 20 minutes before 11am $20.00. Owner emailed "rule stands" you decide. With that policy they get an additional overnights income and pet is away from home an additional night. Early flight....you pay!

The absolute best around. Our 2 boys LOVE coming to Pampered Pets, whether it be for daycare, grooming or boarding. They get so excited! The facilities are spotless and the staff kind. We are very lucky to have such a great facility in Toms River.

We love our paw some time at Pampered Pets! Mom brings us here when she needs someone to watch us. The humans there take such great care of us and give us lots of belly rubs and lovin! Sometimes we want to be with the furry friends and sometimes a girl just wants to be alone, so we get private play time with the humans. We run around non stop and then we get our own private rooms to relax our exhausted paws. What more can a girl ask for! We love it there and if we’re really good maybe mom will get us a spa day too! This was my dogs first time at Pampered Pet, and I am very happy with the whole experience. The staff was very friendly from the beginning and he obviously felt comfortable there. When I came to pick him up he looked very happy and clean! Smelled so good and looked 10 pounds lighter from the deshedding program 😀 Definitely will be back

During a recent family emergency I was able to board my dog on short notice as well as have her attend daycare on her none scheduled days. The staff was very accommodating and allowed me to take care of my family while knowing that my dog was being well cared for by her “second family”. She loves going to daycare regularly. We love watching her play football with her playgroup and are happy with all the Facebook posts. A big thank you to the Pampered Pets Hospitality Center of Toms River. I’m so glad I found you!

Hi! This is Harvey & Leo! We are 2 dogs that have a favorite place to go when our parents need to leave town: Pampered Pets Hospitality Center!! Harvey (me) is 7 years old and a VERY handsome Labradoodle! My little brother Leo is a 5 year old Portuguese Water dog, & he is quite handsome as well! Not only do we love spending a weekend with them, we LOVE getting groomed there, too! In fact, all of the dogs in our neighborhood always comment on how handsome we look--all because of Pampered Pets Hospitality Center! But don't try to look as good as us without Pampered Pets Hospitality Center--they have the magic!!! Woof woof!

We had bought both our dogs there because my husband was having heart surgery at Morristown Memorial Hospital. They stayed from Tuesday to Thursday when we picked them up after they both were suppose to get baths. Our 8 1/2 year old dachshund got a bath but our 8 month old German Sheppard didn't because they couldn't handle her. You are suppose to be able to handle all kinds of animals. Friday night i was up every hour with the dachshund who got the runs and also had a really bad cough. This went on for 2 more nights. I took him to the vet on Sunday and i was told he got a virus and kennel cough from your place. He didn't eat for a week after because of the kennel cough and the bug he received from your facility. The 8 month old had the same symptoms but recovered better because of her age. I also agreed with other people Amber at the front is very rude. I can just imagine the way they are with the dogs since they couldn't handle a puppy. I would think twice about bringing your dogs to this place.

It has taken me a while to write this review, because I had many different feelings. Both of pets had been going to PP for many years....grooming and boarding. Our last experience there was horrific. After taking them in for what I thought was a "routine" grooming, one of my dogs (a maltese/yorkie mix) almost died. There was a new groomer and something definitely wasn't right with him. As soon as I got him home, he was having breathing issues, in distress. After rushing him to the animal hospital, the vet had to sedate him and go down his throat. He had a lot of swelling and said if I hadn't gotten him there when I did, he would have died. There was some type of trauma, obviously caused by the groomer. He stayed overnight on medictions and thank God that doctor saved his life.After speaking to the owner, he was more defensive than anything. Was not sympathetic or never followed up to see how my pet was. We have been good customers and entrusted them with both our dogs for many, many years. The girls at the desk have always been kind, and I felt comfortable leaving my dogs there. It has been a few months, and as I said, I had mixed feelings about writing this review, but I feel it should be known because it could happen to someone else's pet.It is very upsetting to know that no one ever followed up after I made phonecalls to let them know what happened. Needless to say, they have lost my business for good......have since found a mobile groomer who is wonderful and will have my pets taken care of by someone who truly cares.**So after reading owner's response, I will just say this. Not surprised at all at his "defensive" response. Also, never was told there was an investigation, never said my pet had an "allergic" reaction, had asked owner if there could have been different products used and he told me absoloutely not. Even told the owner that the strap used in grooming process could have hurt him. (As per the doctor who treated him...)NEVER pleaded to bring my dogs back. Best of luck to you...as you stated, been customers since 2008, and that is how you treat your longtime customers. NEVER a follow-up with any concern.

Horrible experience. I told them I did NOT want my Maltese mix dog shaved, just clean up beard, eyebrows and bathe. Nails too. I explained that he was a rescue and to please be gentle because he had bad past experiences with grooming. They shaved him and kept him in a nose muzzle for the 2 hours he was there. When I picked him up he looked naked and scared to death. They claimed his hair was matted. I brushed it everyday. It was overgrown, but clean and shampooed 2 weeks ago. Now my dog is freaked out. All the care and trust I worked on with him is gone. I lost it for $58, trusting that they would do their best as they were recommended by a neighbor. I wish they had just called me to take him home if he was difficult. Zero animal compassion. PS. I had to bring him to the vet the next day. They told me his ears and rear were never cleaned, and it's in the package. Total cost: an additional $87.

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The place seemed clean from what I could see. They have a few different options for rooms, like a hotel would offer. My dog needed medicine while he was there and they gave it to him with no extra charge which was nice. They also have him a bath free of charge. I would highly recommend taking your pets there. They offer grooming services too for an extra fee.

Feel very comfortable leaving my family member here. We've been using this service for one year very frequently, both overnight and for day care services.I've had three dogs in my lifetime and utilized many dog services. This is the best by far. Very easy drop off pickup and the personnel love their customers. Professional.

One of my dogs is very difficult and scared. I was very nervous boarding him for the first time because we always had a pet sitter. He did well and runs into the waiting room every time. My boys come home exhausted and happy and we are able to enjoy our time away knowing they are in fantastic care.

We have been bringing our older dog a boxer bloodhound mix, Dixon, here for years for boarding a few times, but mostly grooming. Now Dixon has a younger brother, much to his dismay, a mini Goldendoodle puppy, Chewy. The staff here are consistently friendly and caring. Dixon can be a handful and they seem to love him and handle him well. His nails grow very long and are difficult to trim, but they have no issue. Chewy had his first grooming yesterday and he looks great. I had heard doodles can be difficult to groom and I should be careful and find a good groomer- pampered pet nailed it. Thanks! When my paw-rents adopted me, they took me to PPHC to get my first real bath and hair cut! 🛁✂️ Since then I’ve never been anywhere else to have a spa day! My Levi is a 140lbs Newfoundland who we desperately needed to get cleaned and cut for our wedding ceremony— obviously with COVID-19 many people have been overbooked and I made the mistake to settle with Petco (who got the review they deserved). I was called by Petco two hours after dropping him off being told that Levi was struggling while getting blow dried, while non-aggressive, and had made them fearful of him “knocking the table over and hurting himself”. I was told to pick up my soaking wet dog who hadn’t been completed.I called Pampered Pets and received nothing but CARE and COMPASSION. They definitely validated how outrageous our previous experience was and assured us that Levi would be taken care of. When my fiancé picked him up, he was happy and beautiful, and without any doubt hadn’t given them ANY trouble. He was comfortable there and we are so happy with the service we received— this is the only groomer we will be bringing Levi to.

I’m Melvin and some would say I have issues.I’ve been coming to PP since my mom adopted me 10 yrs ago.I’m a yorkie mix so I’m stubborn.I went to puppy school at PP and mom said I came home a different dog. I don’t really know what that means but I think it’s good. I like Pamperd Pets because they treat me really good and they make me look really handsome after a bath and a groom. I love play time and I get so excited when we pull into the parking lot because I know I’m in for a fun day. I even like staying overnight in my cozy cabin. I can bring my Blankey and my bed and it’s really fun at night when we all start barking. Oh and the parties are lots of fun when we get to take pictures with Santa Easter Easter bunny and for Halloween. I even won a prize 1 yr for a scary costume.I love all the girls there and I miss everyone when I’m not there I hope to see you guys soon.❤️ Melvin
