I dealt with Robin, and at first she seems friendly, but she’s rude and loves to talk about people who help her, behind their backs. Who does that? She’s very mean spirited. I’ve rescued many dogs and cats in my lifetime, and I tried to adopt a dog that I had personally rescued, even offered her $2000. for the dog, after 4 months of getting bit and finally making him “adoptable” and out of spite, she took the dog away from me and would not let me adopt the dog, no matter how much I begged her. Even her volunteers thought the dog should’ve stayed with me. This left me completely depressed. I will never deal with this rescue until the day she’s gone from there. Too elitist as well.

Ellen was beyond rude and unprofessional to me. When I called to explain that my landlord does not answer due to having 100+ tenants and oh that it was Hanukkah she screamed at me saying “you should have something in writing” and “do you think you are the only adopter” I literally called to explain and ask a question about a dog in need... it was so disrespectful and people like that should not work in that business if they can not handle people calling to ask a question. Oh and apparently my written document was not good enough or my Rover with numerous reviews and photos of my apartment. This bully and “god complex” mentality has to end with rescues. It discourages people from adopting. There was no reason for her to speak to me so disrespectfully and no person trying to adopt a dog should ever be spoken to like that.

Caring, compassionate rescue. I've seen dozens of others come and go through the years, but Robyn's determination and love of animals has kept Pet ResQ's mission alive for two generations. Highly recommend.
