This pharmacy is easy to use online, and delivery (to Canada) is extremely fast! (I ordered Saturday it arrived Tuesday) They are knowledgeable and I have never had an issue dealing with customer service. They are nice and understanding. I can only comment on the medication I order for my dog - but it is very expensive here in Canada almost triple the price this company saved me (&him) with the price of his med. It is at a WAY lower price here than anywhere and I am very impressed and pleased. I would recommend Wedgewood Pharmacy to others.

Incredible customer service. My dogs chemo medicine was marked as delivered but never showed up to my house. I called Wedgewood and they are going to send an expedited replacement at no cost. Thank you so much wedgewood for easing this dog moms concerns!

Please be sure to read all of the most recent reviews and you will see that what used to be a highly rated service is now much worse. I've been waiting about two weeks for a medication they've filled for my dog for more than two years. Called again today to have the automated helpline tell me it won't be ready for two more months. When I got through to someone they told me they'd had a smaller dose this whole time and I could just order those if I got my vet to change the prescription. Would have been great to know this weeks ago. Ridiculous. I canceled my order and went straight to Chewy, which has them in stock with auto refills. They spend a lot of time responding to these reviews telling us how time consuming it is to personally compound medications. They used to be able to do it reliably, so I don't know what changed on their end l, but I no longer trust them. It's as if they don't know how crucial these medications are, that we only shop there and pay these high prices because these are supposedly difficult to get. If they can't manage the one thing they're here, for then what's the point?Don't bother responding to my review, Wedgewood. You should have spent time responding to the medical needs of my pet, not trying to control your PR image online.

Wedgewood pharmacy was filling my prescription for my hamster’s potassium citrate which was used to prevent kidney stones. He took an extremely small amount and it was refilled every 6 months. Each time I received my shipment there was hardly enough to last him. They act like they are afraid to give you enough medicine for your pet. Both times I ran out before my new shipment arrived. I’m not sure what the issue was but I paid about $60 for each bottle and there was hardly anything in it. Plus, the medicine is known for becoming sludgy and sticking to the side of the bottle. I know to sit it in warm water and then remove it and shake it up well. I know to keep it out of sunlight. I followed the directions each time I received a shipment and yet each time the medicine would become extremely hard and stick to the sides of the bottle. Warm water and hot water would not unstick it. I called them for help and they told me to sit the bottle in warm water, as if I didn’t already know that. No help at all.

Edit:The USP changes mentioned were announced as early as January of 2023. If these are such massive changes, then why did Wedgewood not let their clients know about these changes and their impacts? Why were they not prepared to meet the demands? I ended up paying $30 for shipping to get half of what I usually do for my cat's medication to get it on time because it took over a week of back and forth to figure out the mess that Wedgewood created and fails to own up to. Customer service used to have lovely people who were willing to answer any questions I had about pricing, flavoring, etc. and now they have rude, passive aggressive workers. When I asked their supposed "specialist" why things were changing and if they had been bought by Zoetis he claimed he didn't know what that was! Clearly not the friendly, knowledgeable people they used to be. An absolute shame.Original:This is the second time in a month that I have ordered a compounded medication from them and am being sent a smaller quantity because they say it will expire before I can use it all. Oh, but it's the same price. I called the first time to point out how unfair this was and they claimed they don't set their prices so they can't give me the same rate as when I order in a larger bulk. The person I was speaking with said he would put a note on my account to compensate the shipping and that didn't happen. I don't know what changed over there. I was a provider who used them up until a couple of years ago and they were great, but lately their services have been absolutely horrendous. Corporate greed at it's very best.

I wish I had other options in terms of compounding pharmacies to work with. They are extremely slow and for three fills now, my cat has gone over a week with no thyroid medication despite ordering refills from the pharmacy before running out. I've paid for overnight shipping (extra $30) and it still takes over a week to get it. I am a retail pharmacist myself and wish I was able to just compound this at my pharmacy, but vet said they can only send it Wedgewood. I do not recommend this place and feel bad for any pet owners like me that have their hands tied and must resort to using them.

I used Wedgewood in 2017 and hadn't used them again until this week. I was really concerned after reading all the most recent reviews. But I had a very good experience. My vet put the order in on Tuesday. There was a mixup- not the fault of Wedgewood- I ordered the meds immediately, but my vet changed her mind and switched one out and canceled the first order. So there was a bit of a mess to clear up. I called and only waited for about 5 minutes on hold. The associate, I believe her name was Rachel, was courteous and professional. We got everything straightened out and I received part of my order Friday and will receive the other part on Saturday. So only about 4 days even with a problem which got solved painlessly. Not sure what is going on with all these recent 1 star reviews, but I cannot complain about my experience.

Wedgewood Pharmacy - 5 stars all day long!Exceptional Customer Service, 100% Expert Advice, great prices, wonderful staff who love animals, and they are currently formulating a medicine for my feral cat in an application specifically to meet her special needs. Thank you so much. <3

Great idea but poor website functionality and shipping times. Twice, while steadily going through the prescription refill, it timed out. Drop downs show nothing but won’t let you proceed without checking one. One script, took near 3 weeks. Make an app already or improve your website.

First time dealing with Wedgewood Pharmacy and it's been a terrible experience. Placed order on 2/18, website stated "typically ships in one business day". On 2/27 still have not received the medication. Called, on hold for over 30 minutes, response is there has been a delay. I never received any notice of a delay, no emails, no phone calls, nothing. They offered to expedite shipping, but then mentioned it wont ship for another 5-6 days. So another week is what I'm looking at now. And then you have the nerve to tell me to tell my cat you said hi.This is completely unacceptable. I wish I would have read the reviews before placing an order as failure to get medications processed and shipped seems to be an issue here.Instead of responding to my review, why don't you use that time to get my cat's prescription filled and shipped.

The medications arrived, but that's about the only positive comment I have. The prices seem high (although I haven't shopped around) and the fulfillment time is EXCEEDINGLY long. Definitely don't pay for fast shipping, because it's not the shipping that causes the delays. We've gotten three prescriptions through them and all of them took many days between placing the order and getting a shipping confirmation.

I love this company so much. Used them a couple of times. Fast shipping and easy ordering. Puts my mind at ease knowing I have a great pharmacy to depend on.

Would not recommend. There are WAY faster pharmacies. This one didn't try to help at all when my dog's medication still hadn't arrived 8 days after shipping. I didn't get an apology, nothing, no solution at all. Just a "yes I see it shipped out over a week ago, and yes we can cancel your auto shipping". As a new client with potential to get medication filled through them permanently, they should have done more to remedy this situation.Choose a better pharmacy that cares about it's customers, this one clearly doesn't. Chewy, a local compounding pharmacy, petmed, expressvets, hell even petco pharmacy is better than Wedgewood.Do better

UPDATE: Their response is laughable. Yes they did offer to refund the amount for the extra medication I bought to tide my dog over, but I was promised a FULL refund twice by the people I previously talked to at Wedgewood, not for the shipping charges, but a full refund for the medication and that's what I wanted. Their response it typical of a company that is failing, and wont make their errors right for any cost. I spoke to my veterinarian's office this morning and recommended they not use Wedgewood any longer because of their horrible customer service and shady practices. If more folks who are dissatisfied with their service recommend that to their vets, I'm hoping that will shake them up.If I could give minus zero stars I would. Do not give your business to Wedgewood. I see by reviews they used to be much better, but I think those days are long gone.I have a dog who has congestive heart failure and an enlarged heart. I have his heart meds compounded because liquid is easier to give him. He won't eat any kind of chewable at all. I started getting the compounded liquid May 2023. It seems to work out well enough until my vet changed my dog's dosage in December. That's when the congestive heart failure really started up. I'd submitted a request a few days before to have the prescription filled, but since the dosage changed I called them and asked them to cancel it as my vet was submitting a new dosage that day. And they did that. My vet submitted the new request and it went out in the mail on 12/27. That's where the problems begain.I called them on Jan 5th because Findley's meds didn't arrive in the mail. It was 9 days out at that point. I was told that if it didn't arrive at my house by 1/8 they would give me a full refund for the inconvenience. I'd had to also get a week's worth of Pimobendan from my vets office to tide him over till his meds arrived. The meds didn't arrive till 1/9, 13 days after they were sent out USPS. I sent Wedgewood an email requesting a refund. No one read it because no one ever responded.Early February (around the 6th), I called them, explained what was going on, and that I was promised a full refund. After being placed on hold the vet tech said they would process the refund but it could take up to 3 weeks to get back to my account.Yesterday the credit finally showed up in my account, but it was for the shipping fees only for a total of $10.90, not the $200 I was expecting. So I called again yesterday, talked to a vet tech who referred me to a manager, who then proceeded to give me the run around. Anything to avoid giving me a refund. I said the refund was supposed to be noted on my account, she states there's nothing there. I said can't you listen to the recorded call, she says 'we delete the calls after 30 days", and on and on it went, they can't control the mail, she wasn't authorized to give me a full refund (even though I'd pointed out that twice I was promised a full refund over the phone), she said she couldn't verify that anyone promised me a refund, I waited two months to call in (not true), she threw every lie at me she could think of, and in the end I hung up on her.I'm making it a point to talk to both the Cardiologist's office and my regular vet's office to make a suggestion they find another online pharmacy to work with. Wedgewood clearly doesn't care about taking responsibility for making sure you get your pets medicine on time. They don't do anything to solve the problem. They make it seem like it was your fault, I've seen them respond to other reviews with a "we'll look into it" and wonder if they every really do. Needless to say, I've requested a different compounding pharmacy from my vets office. I will go to every website I can find to leave them the most negative review I possibly can. The bottom line is they failed me and my pet in every single way, and there isn't anything they can say that will fix that. The damage is done.

Zero stars. Negative 1000 stars.Too long, didn't read: don't use Wedgewood, use Mixlab instead.I usually order my cat's meds through Wedgewood Pharmacy - never again! About 3 weeks before we went on vacation, my vet sent in the script and I processed the payment on the same day as usual. We wanted to make sure our cat did not run out of meds while we were away. I usually submit the payment and then the order is sent to us within 7-10 business days. While on vacation (15 days later!) I realized I had not heard anything from Wedgewood and I logged into their system only to see that our cat's meds were still in the "processing" phase! This was never communicated to us by Wedgewood. No one called us to say there was an issue. I had assumed we were all set after I sent payment and unfortunately, did not have a chance to check up on the order every step of the way. After a VERY frustrating phone conversation with Wedgewood, they said the soonest they could get us our cat's meds was within 5 business days but they would offer me free 1-day shipping. Welp - how is that going to help my cat who would have been out of meds by that time?! And why had no one from Wedgewood communicated that there would be an immense delay in receiving our cat's critical medication?! He doesn't just take the meds for funsies! If he doesn't get them he gets a severe urinary blockage that requires a surgical intervention to remove and then a minimum 3-day stay in the hospital. To say I was enormously disappointed and frustrated is an understatement!I frantically called my vet and they sent the RX to mixlab. I received my cat's medication within 24 hours. Thank god! It saved us a potential $4k trip to the hospital and saved our cat from a lot of potential pain and discomfort.I will only use mixlab moving forward for all of my pet's prescription needs.Beware of Wedgewood!

I've had a script for my cat on autorefill since July 2023. It typically ships within 1-2 days. This time, it's a week later, and it still hasn't shipped and now I'm down to 2 pills left. Customer service blamed this on increased customer demand due to USP changes. That's fine, but Wedgewood should NOTIFY THEIR CUSTOMERS instead of letting us rely on our autorefills like we have been. How hard is it to send out a mass email letting us know that we should anticipate extra delays and perhaps move our autoship dates up?

Absolutely poor customer service, zero sense of urgency With filling prescriptions. Our vet called in a prescription on Feb 24th. We paid extra for expedited shipping. After multiple calls and multiple excuses as to why it was delayed. Now here we are March 13th and I still haven’t received the medication.Every time we spoke with a “pharmacy tech” we were told it would be filled and expedited shipping. After multiple calls a week and no sign of the prescription even have left the building I had to cancel and use a local compounding pharmacy. I’m not sure of Any business, where an order should take almost three weeks to fill let alone something as urgent as a medication, Regardless, if it’s for a human or a pet.

During the past year and a half my cat has been diabetic and recently was diagnosed with a thyroid issue. She also was on and off with eyedrops for feline herpes. It sounds like a lot, and I'm sure it was, but she was the sweetest kitty ever! This online pharmacy has been amazing to deal with. Angel finally crossed the rainbow Bridge. I called to cancel her medication. The person who helped me, I swear, had tears in her eyes. About 2 weeks later, I recieved the sweetest sympathy card. I really can't tell you what that meant to me, and I can't say enough about their customer service. They are amazing!

We love Wedgewood Pharmacy! We have been getting our cat's prescription medication here for many years and have always been 100% satisfied with the service, the consistency of the medication itself and our transactions. The pharmacy communicates online, through phone calls, emails and text. The pharmacists go out of their way to answer any questions or concerns you might have about your pet's medication and prescription.Recently, our cat's transdermal medication has had a change and we were notified of the change by multiple phone calls, texts, and emails from the pharmacy. We called the pharmacy to find out more about the change and spoke directly with a pharmacist named Steve. He answered each of our questions thoroughly which was very reassuring to us. Steve even suggested a better way to apply our cat's transdermal medication to make it more effective and in turn much easier to clean the ear flaps.Last summer, there was a change in our cat's prescription and we also received multiple emails, phone calls and texts from the pharmacy to inform us of the change and what we need to do next. You can have your pet's veterinarian call in a prescription, then you approve it and pay online (or by phone) and your pet's medication will be shipped directly to your home. There is an monthly auto renew option to receive your pet's medicine in a timely manner. You are notified of how many remaining refills you have and when you need to get in touch with your veterinarian to call in another prescription.Wedgewood Pharmacy is located in Swedesboro, New Jersey, has more than 40 years experience and over 40,000 prescribing customers. They have a lot of customers for a very good reason.Any business can have some hiccups, but if you keep the line of communication open, you will always be satisfied. We will continue to use Wedgewood Pharmacy now and in the future. They definitely get a thumbs up from us! Thank you Wedgewood for your outstanding service, keep up the fantastic work!

After being a long time customer both with my own dogs and the national rescue organization I am with, I'm so disappointed in my last orders. I ordered Pimobendan and spoke with an agent on March 8th. I was told the order had to be reduced in number of tablets--which also causes the price per pill to increase--and that my order was confirmed and would be on the way. Today, I had to call twice to get a live person. The first time I called, I opted for an agent to call me back, confirmed the number and waited and waited for a call. I called again this afternoon only to be told it will be several more days before my dog's heart medication is even shipped. They checked to see if they had it in another dosage that would work. They did, but they would require the vet to change the prescription with them. Yet another step to put me through and I'm sure an even more expensive route. I'm almost out of meds for my dog. Why wasn't I told on the 8th that it would take so long to get the prescription filled?? Customer service on this call, at first, was very kind and caring. The 2nd person I spoke with in the pharmacy was nothing but rude and uncaring. There are so many dogs needing this heart med. There are so many of us that order it from Wedgewood. You'd think they'd be better prepared and proactive with their customers when they might be facing shortages for compounding. I will be looking for an alternative source.

This is the second time I've had a bad experience with the pharmacy. My vet has confirmed the medicine and I receive a text message saying your order is confirmed. Why is something canceled afterwards? I also see in my bank account that the amount has been posted. Why is something being canceled? Do you know that my cat needs his medicine? I've just been on the phone for 15 minutes. Why does it take so long?I have now ordered the medicine again. Please send them out now. Our animals need medicine. Can you imagine that animals are dependent on medicine?Without this, the animals could possibly die. My cat has needed his medicine for days.I'll come by your place tomorrow. It's not that far to drive. if I can't get someone on the phone right away. Our animals need the medicine. It's now been an 1 1/2 that I've been on the phone….Update: Still waiting for Brandon’s Medicine. The order is still in progress and hasn’t been shipped yet. Unbelievable!

This is my first time ordering from this pharmacy. I wish I had read the reviews because I am also not impressed. Their website states, "fast delivery." That should be removed. I placed an order on 12/14 and if I did not check on it the status this morning I would have never known it's been delayed, but I can call for other alternatives......If medication is going to be delayed, have a better SOP in place for communicating with the customer. My cat needs this liquid medication as trying to get a pill in him is almost impossible. You need to do better.

I called to get a prescription refilled and they were having ‘technical difficulties’ and were unable to do so over the phone. The tech could not even find my account so that I could try to place the refill online. I asked to speak to a pharmacist and she just put me on hold for a long time and never transferred me. She came back and told me I could try to call my vet since it was sent in by them. If she can see that information why isn’t she able to fill the prescription? I’ve never dealt with such horrible customer service and incompetence. I will not be getting my prescriptions through them anymore.

I see that there are a lot of low reviews, but I had a good experience with Wedgewood. My vet called in the prescription on February 16th (a Friday), and my order was delivered on February 23rd (the following Friday). That's a reasonable amount of time for processing, compounding, and shipping.

The first time I ordered I was sent medication that would expire before I could use it all. I had to have my vet call for Wedgwood to refund me because when I called the customer service person told me it wasn’t a big deal that I was only losing a few pills. I was never given a call to ask if I wanted to reduce the quantity or anything. The second time I ordered they didn’t have enough of the medication in stock and wouldn’t be able to ship it for another week. I was told they have 6 pills in stock. I called 7 days before the medication would expire. They don’t recommend using expired medication, so my pet has to go without his cancer medication. The only suggestion was to order a smaller quantity, which doesn’t help when the pharmacy only has 6 pills in stock. They also couldn’t tell me if this new batch would expire before use date like the last one had. It seems disorganized and I will be looking for another compounding pharmacy.Edit: about an hour later I ended up calling back and cancelling the refill as I found another compounding pharmacy that has the medication readily available and they let me know the medications expiration date is 5 months out so I do not need to order a smaller quantity.

Another customer waiting on medication. They have to do better in shipping as they wait til almost the due date to ship then it gets stalled by the carrier. Mine was scheduled to arrive April 1 and today, April 4, I still do not have an ‘out for delivery’ notice from USPS. While I realize USPS is the problem now, it wouldn’t be a problem if Wedgwood shipped in plenty of time to get it to the customer. I believe autoship is part of the problem. I am switching compounding pharmacies and will also change a normal 4 week autoship to a three week autoship. Part of my reason for this is I left a chat message with Wedgwood on April 1 and they promised to get back with me in 24 hours. ANOTHER JOKE. STILL WAITING FOR MY ‘chat’ back reply. Seriously? Obviously customer service is not a priority over making money.

I've been ordering from Wedgewood for a long time for my cat's medication, and it's been expensive but at least consistent - recently, however, the customer service has gone downhill and so has the consistency. I ordered a medication for my cat and was told it would take no more than 5 days to process before shipping - 10 days later, the order hadn't even started being prepared. When I called the pharmacy, they said that the medication was out of stock and wasn't going to ship for another 13 days. I find it really concerning that a pharmacy wouldn't notify you at the time of your order that the medication you ordered is out of stock, and wouldn't bother updating shipping times or even sending an email to update you on when the medication is supposed to arrive. This isn't some trivial order, these are medications that animals require in order to live. I'll be moving over to Chewy, as the same medication is 40% cheaper and ships for free within a couple days. It's just not worth paying $10 shipping and $20 extra on the price if the service isn't better.

Michelle Lerch

2024-03

The meds tend to be out of stock. Delivery dates are only suggestions and tend to be delayed weeks. Customer services lies about when shipments will be made. Other drug compounders will take 2 days to do something Wedgewood may need 7+ weeks to complete. They are unable to provide solutions and you must make the suggestions which they will shoot down. The customer service is lacking, unprofessional, and in knowledgeable.

Melinda Leonard Smith

My only explanation for my experience with this pharmacy is that they secretly hate animals and hope that by withholding critical meds, your pet will die. My prescription says "DO NOT ABRUPTLY STOP" in all caps, yet Wedgewood has twice delayed my order without notifying me. I only find out by going to their website to see why I didn't get a shipping notification. I called twice to see when the meds would be shipped and was promised delivery dates that they have twice missed. I've been trying to get an order since 2/18, dealing with them misleading me about it since 2/21

Do NOT pay for rush shipping!! Rush shipping says 2 day on my receipt but they send it regular UPS ground and keep your money. They will refund me nothing. I have to wait until next week for meds my dog is out of. I'm now stuck with this over priced rip off pharmacy because it seems no one else can keep potassium citrate in stock. Wedgewood is horrible. Avoid.
