I really liked Dr. Charlie and Dr. Julia. They are both wonderful doctors! Unfortunately, Dr. Julia left and the front desk staff has been extremely rude to me on more than one occasion. I left the practice and took my cats to a different practice because of the rudeness. No fault of the doctors...it's the front desk staff that lack customer service skills and compassion.

Staff very nice and friendly. Good front desk personnel is so important. I have only dealt w Dr Zydiak as I followed her from Harlingen and she is the best. Very kind and attentive and just a good person and vet. (Harlingen lost its quality since it went corporate) I also want to add that the pricing is more reasonable. Well worth the extra drive.

I can not say enough wonderful things about this place!! Dr. Charlie is phenomenally warm & smart. She has a marvelous way about her! So sincere, cheerful & very realistic. Just took my third cat this week for their check ups and each visit was timely & honestly enjoyable! We just love her.

This is a business dedicated to making money. It is NOT a veterinary medical facility dedicated to helping injured animals.My dog cut his paw. He was refused treatment. That's right, a bleeding dog was refused treatment!! It was more important that he had been to the clinic before, not that he was in need of immediate help. Beyond that, they wanted an "emergency fee" even though I called between 9am and 5pm.I don't know what kind of vet school they went to but it would appear that they got an MBA not a DVM.

Dr. Charlie has been seeing my fox red labrador since I brought her home. Dr. Charlie's knowledge, ability to explain and her amazing bedside manner are just a few of the reasons we love Stockton Vet. We are always treated like family at this top of the line Vet hospital. We switched to Stockton Veterinary Hospital after we began to feel that our existing vet may have taken on too many new patients to continue giving satisfactory individual care.We felt an immediate difference; the attention Stockton Veterinary Hospital gives each of their patients is outstanding. Each visit thus far they’ve taken exceptional care to try to make our anxious dog comfortable. The waiting room is clean and has some very nice amenities. The office staff are polite and organized. The doctors and veterinary technicians demonstrate a competency that goes above and beyond any other animal hospital I’ve been to before. I couldn’t be happier with the service and my dog is healthier because of it.

Dr. Charlie is amazing. She has been taking care of my pets for over 10 years. We drive 45 minutes to see her, as she is extremely knowledgeable and has the biggest heart. We know that our pets are in the best hands. What can I say? She is amazing!!!

"I DIG DR.CHARLIE"! Would have given Stockton Veterinary Hospital TEN stars if it allowed me! What an enthusiastic, welcoming and friendly team! The gorgeous new place is super clean, modern and obviously well thought out. Dr. Charlie remains every bit of caring, knowledgeable and passionate about her furry patients and their humans! There is rarely a wait time before you are taken back to a crisp, clean, exam room and scheduling an appointment is super easy and convenient. The new high-tech way of sending emails/ receipts/patient communications is very much appreciated. Do not hesitate to take your beloved pet here and go see for yourself why Dr.Charlie and her team are loved & appreciated by so many!

Dr. Julia was fantastic, she was very thorough with covering all options I had for my pup and was very kind and gentle with her. The facility was spot less and the waiting area didn't feel like a vet at all which is fantastic for a nervous dog. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating toward my fear aggressive pooch. I tend to be very picky with where I have brought my pit bull Nala in the past and having just moved to the area I was concerned with finding a vet I was comfortable bringing her to. I could not have had a better experience working with SVH and will be bringing Nala there from now on. Thank you Dr. Julia!

My female French Bulldog has received exceptional care and attention from Dr. Charlie, whose expertise and consultation have been invaluable. Dr. Charlie has gone above and beyond in providing both in-person and remote telemedicine care, and her advice has been spot-on every time. She is incredibly knowledgeable and has a remarkable ability to communicate effectively. I cannot recommend Stockton Vet Hospital and Dr. Charlie enough!

I was extremely disappointed with the service received from Stockton Veterinary Hospital this past year, and have since moved my dogs to a different practice.  One of the vets at Stockton Veterinary Hospital unilaterally changed one of my dogs’ pre-existing prescriptions without informing me, with serious adverse consequences for my dog.   Another of my dogs developed an eye problem which was treated casually by the on-call vet at Stockton Veterinary Hospital, which resulted in an emergency care visit to a different vet the next day that ended with the surgical removal of my dog’s ruptured eyeball and a $4,000 bill.   The emergency care vet scolded me for having waited 24 hours to bring my dog’s eye problem to the emergency room, but that wait had come at the explicit instructions of Stockton Veterinary Hospital.  There were other issues as well – poor responsiveness and communication, and lack of cooperation in transitioning out of the practice, among others.  I have given this practice a “1-star” rating, and based on my experiences this past year, that rating is very well-deserved.

I absolutely LOVE this office! Dr. Charlie is absolutely amazing at what she does and you can tell she is a vet for the love of animals not in it for the money like so many other vets. I have been through so many vets over the years, had horrible experiences, and spent thousands of dollars with them and never felt confident in their work or that my pets were in their best interest until I found Dr. Charlie! She has the BEST bedside manner’s and my dogs absolutely love her. I feel 100% confident that when my pets need anything that they are in the best hands here. The entire staff is such a pleasure to deal with..they always respond quickly and try to accommodate us in any way they can. The prices here are also not outrageous like many other vet offices. I drive a little over an hour to bring my pets here and I would drive even longer if I had too that’s how amazing this office and it’s Dr’s are. I recommend them to anyone who needs a vet!

Dr. Charlie and Dr. Julia, Angus and all of the staff are fantastic. They clearly love what they do and love your pets like they are their own. My pup Nala loves going to see them, can't wait to get in the door in fact. They are knowledgeable and give you as many options as possible to choose from to solve whatever issue your pet is having, or for just everyday health and care of your pet. The facility is warm, welcoming and spotless, doesn't even feel like a vets office which will help your pet feel comfortable and just focus on all the attention they will get from the staff. This is the best vet we've ever been to. We were recommended Dr. Charlie by many people who want a vet with bulldog experience, and she does not disappoint. On top of that, the entire staff is friendly and professional. They are quick to return phone calls and help in any way possible. This is not a place that is out to get every penny off you, which unfortunately is an experience everyone has had at many other vet offices. I would highly recommend this office to anyone needing veterinary care.

I wouldn't even give a one star rating yet I did so I can comment on how rude and dishonest this place with their fake love of all pets and their supposedly long waiting list for our very sick dog who's eye is getting worse by the day and night and as this is the closest to our house and no luck with any other veterinary services as they all have been through their training of heart wrenching things that they do to the pets. I couldn't even be satisfied with myself if I have not posted this on the review part. Also I would like to further add about this, is the reception desk also feels like there is no compassion for pets and people, and they only care about the money they get for the pets. It's all a front and show for them to make money and they're not about the pets.i was rudely interrupted with my concern about our dog and she was not helpful whatsoever as I do not like to be interrupted when I am telling the story of my dog and they can't help anyone for six months! What type of veterinarian says that and has no compassion to hear the entire story, no reference given and the service on the phone is horrible.

During a recent trip from AZ to KS, we decided to have a mass removed from our dog's eye & his teeth cleaned. 2 years previously, we had teeth cleaning and boarding at this facility and were very pleased with the care our kids received. This trip when we arrived to drop off, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, answered our questions. We were called when surgery was completed. Our boy was ready when they said he could go home. We got before and after pictures of his teeth. We were pleased with the care given.

I’ve only had very positive experiences bringing my cats to Stockton Vet Practice. I needed to have one cat euthanized and the staff were compassionate and supportive. The equipment and facilities are state of the art and the staff are welcoming and friendly. They really know what they’re doing.I’ve read all the wonderful reviews. They accurately describe the practice....not the very few negative ones. Some people just aren't happy wherever they go. See for yourself. It’s an amazing place with top-notch staff and facilities. Keep up the good work!
