Nicely laid out and brightly lit farmers market store with a large selection of produce, dairy, deli, baked goods, grocery items, fresh floral arrangements and indoor plants as well as garden plants outside near the entrance. Prices are very reasonable and there are several check out counters. Restrooms are provided too. Large parking lot and entrance/store aisles are handicap accessible. They are open 7 days a week.

This was my first time at the this store and I was picking some cilantro and parsley and I came across this baby animal fetus. I thought it was dirt at first but then I looked closer and took this picture. This is truly disturbing. Be careful picking fruits and vegetables. Clean your fruits and vegetables with baking soda!!!

They are open a couple weeks.It looks like Lidl and Aldis (The German company that owns Trader Joe's) , has some competition.Mums outside (pictured) comparable to Home Depot's $19.95 offering were 2 for $10. This may be a "Get you in the door" thing, but enticing.Everything looked fresh and equal or lower priced than Lidl's or Aldi's.No customer service or anything like that.I think it's worth a visitJohn NUnion, NJ

We visited LEAFY BASKET on Route 22, Springfield, NJ and we were very happy with the selection of Produce.Tomatoes, apples zucchini, eggplant, potatoes, grapes, cauliflower, berries and more.They have a very nice bread and cookie selection to choose from. And Leafy Basket also sells Milk and some other dairy products.Their prices are very reasonable too. Much better quality and prices than the BIG GROCERY STORES. Worth the trip!

Very good prices on produce. Sometimes you have to search for the good apples, plums, grapefruits, etc. Much better prices than anywhere in Union. Also have a deli counter, fresh rolls, pasta, Italian cookies, and other odds and ends. Definitely worth a try to check it out!

Decent sized place with fruits, vegetables, breads, deli section, floral, dairy and more. Got a pint of strawberries today for $2, a big bag of spinach for $2. Some of the canned and packaged goods are pricier than a typical supermarket.

Love having access to bargain priced fruit and veg that's conveniently situated on route 22. The produce has been fresh and much of it lasts more than a week. Highly recommend.

I visited this store for the 1st time and I’m impressed.. very very clean.. Fruits and vegetables were just fresh and the lowest price comparing to other stores with no quality compromise- is the cherry on top of the cake..😊 happy to visit again.

Wow, runs rings around Shoprite's produce prices. Lemons .20ea, Cauliflower .99 each, sweet onions .79lb, blueberries 1.99 container, strawberries (Driscoll) .99 container, scallions .25 big bunch, honeydew melon $2.99......and I'm very particular about quality and everything here looks top quality. Prices on most everything in the store are great.

Amazing prices......I am hopeful it is not just to get new customers. I will no longer shop for cold cuts or produse @ my regular grocery store. I will be here spending $100 a week if the prices remain. Seriously a pint of fresh strawberries $.99. Boars Head cornedbeef $7.99 a pound on sale. Thats insane. I dont normally buy it, way to expensive but now I am hooked. The fresh bread is amazing, beware it has no shelf life. Why? Because there are no preservatives. Place is amazing so far.
