I made an appt for a vaccine and just waited over 20 minutes for the cashier in bedroom slippers to check me in. Despite having filled out paperwork prior online, the cashier had to re-enter all of my info, requiring me to repeat myself several times and hadn't over my insurance card 3x, then having to get the pharmacist and no less than 3 other techs involved. In the end, she called me back and said her computer had "timed out" and would have to redo the whole thing. I took back my card and said to just cancel & left without receiving the vaccine I had booked - I wasn't going to wait around for another 20 min. I will never come back to this place again, for anything. 4 people behind the counter and no one could help this poor girl, who clearly had no idea what she was doing. Train your staff properly please, or get a better system - not sure which is the issue.

I went to Walgreens for my flu shot and was greeted by the pharmacist, Howard. Howard was very welcoming and attentive. He made the flu shot quick and painless. Great experience.

I've been on the phone for an hour and 45 minutes, this pharmacy is a disgrace to customer service and patient care. Very upsetting and frustrating for those who take medications that they literally cannot wait on. This pharmacy department is a disorganized disaster and honest threat to the wellness of the community with its poor communication and service. I'm not one to ever write poor reviews, but the experiences with this pharmacy are shameful enough for me to do so.

Absolutely horrible! The lead pharmacist was very unhelpful and rude, not only was he not helpful he's was unprofessional eating a Togo container full of meatballs while the phone was ringing and blantlany talking about other coworkers so loud infront of all the people waiting for there shots and prescriptions. Never seen something like that in a pharmacy. First time there immediately switched pharmacy today!

DO NOT GO TO THIS PHARMACY!!!!!!!In case you didn’t know, the drive through is for “convenience” (per Howard the pharmacist) CONVENIENT FOR WHO HOWARD? Definitely not the customer!!!! Definitely not the customer that just got out of SURGERY!!!!!!!!!!After being ignored in the drive through, i tapped the call button multiple times thinking it didn’t work….. Christine S. RUDELY said WE ARE BUSY IN HERE and turned away NEVER ACKNOWLEDGING US AGAIN!So i went inside.I guess TWO customers are considered busy because Howard was “really busy” having a personal conversation-Not about medications- bc I COULD HEAR IT and not helping his staff. You embarrassed yourself today Howard. Your behavior was nothing less than pathetic and disgusting.THANK GOD FOR PATTY who went ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR US after Howard damn near broke the door after SLAMMING it and SCREAMING for Patty throughout the store. Christine S and Howard are UNPROFESSIONAL, CLASSLESS, INAPPROPRIATE, and RUDE!!!!!!! Corporate AND the surrounding Walgreens pharmacies are aware of the “Howard problem” (THEIR QUOTE, NOT MINE!!). I hope corporate resolves these people (i mean problems) ASAP and get more staff like Patty that go out of her way for customers. Thank you Patty for everything you did today. thank you for connecting us to another branch that understood what we just went through. We really appreciate you! YOU ARE THE REAL MVP!!!!!!!

The customer service at the Spring Lake Walgreen's pharmacy is non-existent. I had an 11:30 appointment on a Saturday for a Covid booster. I arrived on time with all paperwork completed. The counter rep updated my vaccination card indicating that I received the booster, which I had not yet received. I was told to have a seat. There were 3-4 customers ahead of me so I expected a wait. After 30 minutes, two customers had been taken care of. "Howard", the pharmacist, administering the vaccines was extremely slow, ignored the customers waiting and no one provided any updates as to the remaining wait. After 45 minutes, I asked at the counter how much longer the wait would be since I had another appointment. Howard would not respond and only did so when the other pharmacist asked him to. At first he said he didn't know how much longer the wait would be, but after I pressed him he told me 12:30 - 1:00. I told him it was ridiculous to expect me to be there for 1.5 hrs for a vaccine. I told him I had another appointment and couldn't wait and he told me I shouldn't have made a second appointment on a day I'd be receiving a vaccine! Of course I left, with no vaccine and incorrect information on my vaccination card.Walgreen's is awful, they don't care about customer service. Stay away from this location.

"The staff at Walgreens, from the pharmacy to the retail store, has consistently shown incompetence. It's disheartening to see an establishment receive negative reviews for years on end, and the lack of improvement from district and regional managers, as well as corporate, is concerning. The ongoing issues and unfavorable customer feedback seem to go unnoticed."

If I could give this Pharmacy a negative -10 stars, I would. I was picking up 2 prescriptions and had a bottle of Listerine and was told I had to take the Listerine to the front cashier as she was too busy to scan it with my order. After I refused twice, she finally waved the wand over the scan code, and I paid my bill. I changed from CVS thinking this place would be better... Customer Service has been replaced with a "Like it or get nothing attitude. I will never step foot in this Walgreens again.

Can I please give negative stars? Even that won’t reflect how terrible this pharmacy is. No matter what time you call, you are waiting at least an hour to speak to someone. Employees at the pharmacy are nasty and unhelpful. They try to excuse their behavior by saying they are “overwhelmed by Covid” but no other pharmacy is this bad (Walgreens or other). Also pretty sure most of their customers have left due to terrible service so how exactly are they overwhelmed? Where did all the good employees go when this was Rite Aide? Run far away from here and find somewhere else!

Cancelled my appointment with no notice and made no attempt to help me find another location or alternative site. I needed to get my toddler tested so we could attend an event in NYC this weekend. I got a reminder email at 8 am confirming the appointment. On arrival, the drive-up window was closed and no one was answering the phone. Eventually an employee came out, walked right past me and put a notice on the drive-up window. I told her I was there for a Covid test and she said "All appointments today are cancelled." I told her I needed to get the test done today and she just repeated that the pharmacy was closed. Very abrupt and very dismissive. No offer to help me find another location or any attempt to correct the situation, completely unsympathetic. At a minimum I feel the store should have made an effort to get a testing slot at another nearby store. Even if other stores are not showing any available appointments, they could have gotten another location to fit us in between appointments. It only takes a few minutes and the appointments are spaced 30 minutes apart. Also, the employee said they were calling people "now" to let them know their appointments were cancelled but I never received any notice. I understand they may have been forced to close for reasons beyond their control but then they should have made an effort to assist customers who were impacted by this. I will be switching pharmacies.

Past 3 times I've tried dropping off a FedEx package I am told they are "Too full" and "Try coming back after 3". If it only happened once in a while I would understand... but literally THE PAST 3 TIMES I could not drop my package off. Why even offer FedEx services here if you can't complete them??

Is understaffed really an issue they can control? Be serious people these are trying times for pharmacies literally everywhere. I waited a while for my prescription, not because they were simply not working on it, no because I could physically see they were busy. Bare with them. I appreciate what they do . Grateful for all the services they struggle to juggle along side with filling prescriptions.

Been already! & about 8hrs on hold and can not connect with pharmacy, totally regretting using walgreens part d now. Impossible to get through. Unlike cvs will not give tentative filling of script, they leave you in the dark, bad service. I have to say, cvs makes them look really bad. Fix your freakin system already!

Best customer service I have ever received thanks to nurse Nick. I was petrified to get my vaccine. Nick calmed me down for 20 minutes and talked me through the process, offered me water, and with open arms accepted me back from the waiting room after I walked out crying. He was so patient and nurturing and made my vaccine phobia so much smoother. He deserves a trophy. And now I am finally vaccinated!

It pains me to hear my girlfriend talk about her consistent horrible experiences every time she goes to get here prescription filled at this pharmacy. Judging from other reviews I have just read, I can see that she is not alone in her experiences.It's unbelievable that Walgreens is proud to have such a horrible pharmacy department with such disappointing service both inside and the drive-through. My girlfriend was actually cursed at by a driver behind her because she was waiting for minutes on end at the drive-thru without a tech coming to the window to serve her.While standing on line, my girlfriend has heard a pharmacy tech complain about his job. When she couldn't get her medicine in a timely manner another tech complained that the medication she was taking was too expensive for them to obtain. I mean, this pharmacy completely lacks professionalism and care for its customers.Fortunately, my girlfriend finally got wise and signed up with another local pharmacy which she has been immensely enjoying.

This is a completely dysfunctional pharmacy department. Not only is the pharmacy understaffed it is managed by rotating incompetent personnel. As a physician who values pharmacy services, I am appalled by the wait time for phone calls and the wait time when live at the pharmacy. I have been with Walgreens for more than 20 years mainly because my Walgreens at East Brunswick is well managed, but now that I am down the shore this is impossible to tolerate. I will be moving to CVS down the street.

The pharmacists here are rude and unprofessional. I called today to ask a simple question and a man answered with a rude, snarky attitude. It's no wonder this place has such a terrible reputation in the community. It's genuinely sad how miserable these people must be to talk to people the way they do. Unsurprisingly, their miserable attitudes have compromised their ability to do their jobs. Go to this place if you enjoy incompetent service and being mistreated!

All I can say is 3 hours on hold and THEN it was 9 pm and the pharmacy was closed. And this was my second attempt in the last 10 days to find out about my script which will run out in two days!Walgreens (132 billion in profits) shame on you! Knock this store down and put up more disgusting condos to ruin the shore. The community will be better served.

At this particular pharmacy, a college kid will administer your covid vaccine. He will not ask you a single question, nor will he provide you any verbal information. He will not instruct you to remain on site for 15 minutes following your vaccination. For me personally, I'm not concerned with who sticks the needle in my arm because I am in charge of my own healthcare decisions, and don't need a kid telling me what to do. Not trying to dissuade anyone from getting the vaccine by any means -- that's a matter of personal choice. Just saying if you're a bit anxious and anticipating a certain level of consideration and comfort with the process, this store may not be the vaccine site for you.

The worst pharmacy. Ridiculous waits in line. Scripts aren't ready. They don't answer phones ever. The people who work their are trying but doesn't make up for the mess. I'm going to take my business elsewhere.

Do yourself a favor and do not give this Walgreens your business. Worst pharmacy EVER. Dont bother calling either - they will make you hold for 30 mins then pick up only to hang up on you. Their pharmacist is a danger to society.

This is the WORST Walgreens pharmacy I ever experienced. The systems or either down or they just close unexpectedly. I totally understand there is a pandemic but you need to notify customers that are expected prescriptions to be filled.

Sick with Covid waiting on hold for 90 minutes waiting to see why my script still isnt ready...or if it is because they dont have it. Tried calling all day and gave up after 1 hr each time. Obviously if I could go in person I would . But this is crazy. I'm switching after this
