They did a beautiful job of installing a runner on a very difficult staircase. Sam was very easy to work with. He quickly gave ma a quote on the work and explained the process to me. He later answered all of my texts very quickly. A big plus was how quickly they were able to do the job. The person who did the installation was very professional, and a true craftsman. I would definitely use them again.

The ultimate happy customer. I had purchased a very expensive rug from Ethan Allen only about two years ago, and all the ends were ripping at the seams, from my vacuum. I was not interested in buying a new rug since I loved this one so much so I started to do some research to see who could potentially repair it, but not many people were willing to touch this rug. I found the perfect solution by coming to Sam and he did a phenomenal job repairing my rug back to even better than new. I would recommend him for anything you need within your home when it comes to rugs.

He came right to our house same day with samples, gave us a great price, super knowledgable and transparent with all the options, delivers unbeatable customer service, and the whole experience was just so EASY. His team quickly installed the carpet just a few days later and it looks gorgeous. He even tolerated our kittens climbing all over him while we were trying to fill out paperwork lol … Don’t waste your time shopping around or going anywhere else. Sam came to our house the same day as I stopped by his business. He was on his way into the office. Within an hour he arrived and walked us through each type of carpet we picked samples of. His suggestions and reasoning as to what we should go with were spot on. We are in the process of putting our lifetime home on the market.It looks great now that it’s installed. His installers were on time and prepared. They were careful with keeping the newly painted walls and trim untouched. Great job to the two men who installed the carpet. I have used Sam for almost 20 years now. Best bang for my dollar.

I was redoing a bedroom and making it into an office and needed to dispose of the 33-year-old carpet I had. I contacted “My Way Carpet Floors & More” by phone on October 16th and they referred me to their local agent, Sam the Carpet Man, who contacted me within 90 minutes the same day. He came by the following day and showed me samples and I chose one. It needed to be ordered and on October 24th Sam called me to arrange the installation, which was done today, October 26th. Two men came, removed the old carpet and dumped it, and installed the new carpet. The process took one hour and they worked relentlessly. I tipped them and thanked them.The entire process of contacting “My Way Carpet Floors & More” and Sam the Carpet Man from start to finish was absolutely flawless and wonderful. Sam was impeccable in his professionalism and made sure that I was happy with what I wanted. If I needed to ask him a question, I was free to call Sam on his cell phone.In the future, if I need a new carpet, I will reach out to Sam the Carpet Man. We used My Way Carpet Floors for runners and a wall to wall install. The whole process was easy. We picked from a ton of samples Sam brought to the house. The install date was very flexible to accommodate our construction schedule. I wish we had more rooms to carpet! The finished product is gorgeous! As for the runners, Nick did a great job, we serged and bound some left over remnants and they are beautiful. Everything was so reasonable! Thanks!

Great experienceI needed to restore a runner which was damaged by improper care. It was very challenging to find someone who was willing to take on the challenge. My Way Carpet guys responded to my phone call right away and fixed my runner the same day. In future, when I need a rug or install carpet, I will definitely use these guys again. They also have almost every possible selection of carpet materials. Highly recommend their services.

I decided to go with My Way Carpet because they were close by and also had many good reviews. I usually go with Home Depot when it comes to flooring but there are to many parties involved. This was a great decision, not only did they come to the house with samples, but I was also able to go to the warehouse in South Plainfield to check out everything. They had exactly what I was looking for. I was given a quote and date of installation on the same day as estimate which was very convenient for me because I was having my basement finished by contractors. Sam from My Way Carpet was very professional and gave me a very fair price for everything. If you are thinking of getting your floors done, go with My Way. I am not one for leaving reviews, but when I am very happy with the work I will take the time out to do so.

Issa is a man of his word and will go above and beyond to make sure his work is perfect. He came for the initial consultation and we agreed on the carpeting for my steps, hallway and a storage room. I asked if he himself was going to do the job but he assured me his guys would handle it. His 2 guys came and did the job. I feel they could have cleaned the steps and hallway a bit better as there were a lot of carpet clippings left. After they left I called Issa and expressed a few concerns and he said he would come personally to make any fixes. The previous staples from the carpeting were off and that line was followed which caused an uneven carpet line however Issa and his Uncle came back to perfect everything and he truly is a man of his word that goes above any beyond.

Really appreciated the level or professionalism, customer services and responsiveness of Sam, and his team. I reached out to him for an estimate for basement carpeting, and after discussing options with him, determined the current carpet was in good enough shape and could just be cleaned. Edit: My Way Carpet is claiming they have no records of our business transaction with Issa. Issa (the owner) has threatened to sue us because we rated and shared our poor experience publicly; our experience is based on facts. Issa co-owns My Way Carpet and owns Flooring Today LLC. Google will not allow me to post photos of our texts or Issa's photoshopped invoice. But other popular review websites have my full review. They are now trying to get my review censored by Google, but I will continue to share my experience to help others.We hired Issa last Sept. 2022 for a large flooring project - part of the project was to rip out carpet, sand, and finish the existing hardwood in the master bedroom. Work started on 9/10/22, and Issa assured me all would be finished by 9/30.For context, I gave birth on 9/10/22, and Issa contacted me that same day to share that there was cement where a wall used to exist (former owners had knocked down walls and filled in with cement). I asked if new wood could be laced in to match the existing wood; Issa was adamant that everything had to be replaced. He insisted that my way would be ugly and it was impossible to work around the existing wood. I requested that the new wood match the wood original to the house (oak Select). I was physically and mentally taxed to get a few other quotes, and I had no reason to distrust Issa at that time. Once installed, I noticed that the new wood looked different from the rest of the house. Issa assured me it was the same wood, oak. While technically true, Issa was not entirely honest because he had used the lowest quality oak, common#2.On 2/20/23, we noticed white lines on the polyurethane finish. While we cannot establish the precise moment the issues started because of the distractions of caring for a newborn and the holidays, the defects were clearly visible. We contacted Issa and he stopped by on 2/27. Mo, Issa’s subcontractor who installed the wood never came by to examine the floor. Issa did not know what was causing the white lines, but he was quick to point fingers that it was the cleaning crew’s fault for using Murphy’s Soap based on slap-dash Google research; however, he could not confirm it was the cause for the white lines. 3 different flooring contractors, NWFA certified, examined the floors, and they all confirmed that the white lines were caused by poor application of the polyurethane. The strange and unprofessional situation only escalated: Issa continued to only refer to his photos of the project to deflect possible responsibility, and he failed to engage with us in a rational manner when we sought clarification and information.The final bizarre turn in this saga came about when 2 NWFA certified contractors noted that the wood was not oak Select. When we asked Issa what he had ordered, he stated “Select”. To confirm, we asked for the invoice of what Issa ordered. When Issa shared the Hurst Hardwood invoice, we called Hurst and the rep confirmed that Issa had not purchased oak Select, nor did the code “21/41 SEL” exist in their system, and that he in fact had purchased Red Oak Common #2. When we confronted Issa about switching out the materials and photoshopping the invoice, Issa claimed he never said “Select” in his invoice for us, so, why photoshop the Hurst invoice?The Summative Facts:1. Issa lied to us about the quality of hardwood he bought; he said he bought Oak Select2. A rep at Hurst Hardwood Floors confirmed that Issa purchased Red Oak #2 Common and that the code on Issa’s invoice shared with us, 21/41 SEL, does not exist in their company’s system.3. Issa photoshopped the Hurst invoice4. Even if Issa had used oak Select, he overcharged us; to add insult to injury, it was the cheapest wood on the market5. The subcontractor, Mo, never returned to the house to examine the white lines on the polyurethane.6. Three independent NWFA flooring contractors all confirmed the white lines in our floors was due to poor polyurethane application.7. Poor workmanship—the custom steps are now cracking as seen in photos.

The resulting new carpets in nearly every room in our house are BEAUTIFUL. We can't even find any seams! This was a great experience. We highly recommend My Way Carpet & Floors.
