I had an exam with Dr Bonnie Rosenberg and not only is she extremely easy on the eyes but she is very thorough with your eye exam and very gentle. The amount of patience and care she gave me made me feel relaxed and she gave plenty of feedback so I knew what was going on during the exam. They have an awesome resident pooch named Dallas which brings even a more welcome feeling to the business. For the staff, they were ok, not the most knowledge full to what my prescription lens would fit into frames and such but they made good efforts. The overall cost and selections they had was very good and located in an easy place for parking and such.

I had a great experience at EyeKrafters, from the comprehensive eye exam with Dr. Koppel and associates to working with Polina on finding just the right lightweight frames for 2 pairs of glasses. The fit and look of the frames are just what I was looking for and Polina was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. I am also loving the new prescription. It is a perfect upgrade from my previous one.

Excellent service from start to finish, check in, eye doctor and young lady behind the the counter that pulled a gazillion frames that helped me find both new glasses and prescription sunglasses. Everyone was super friendly, very professional and I could not have been happier with the experience.

This place may be tucked away in a strip mall, but you are treated like royalty when you walk in. I had an eye emergency on Xmas weekend and the entire staff went out of their way to help me. I stayed well past their closing time as Dr Koppel took his time and made sure I left with the appropriate diagnosis and medications. If you need a great eye doc for your entire family, I highly recommend!!! Amazing, patient, kind and generous staff!!!

My visit today at EyeKrafters medical was worth it with Dr. Avani Patel who learnt all my concerns and prescribed accordingly. Will recommend her for anyone looking for a good optometrist in the area. Not to forget the lady at the reception who attends everyone with a smile and guides us thru.

Dr Koppel is excellent and the clinical staff too. The staff upfront who sell the eyeglasses and lenses are very rude and make ordering extremely stressful and it’s the same experience year after year. We only go there because we love the Doctor.

Only reason I am giving any stars is because I love Dr. Rosenberg. Always so attentive & does a great exam. My eyesight is always so clear leaving. However, the staff just is horrendous. They are rude & never answer the phone. I have been waiting to get my eye prescription so I can order my contacts & I keep not getting a response. They also told me they do not accept my insurance, but they do?? Just frustrating that the doctors are great but the staff around them are not the best. And

Excellent experience at EyeKrafters on June 26, 2021, re: my husband’s eye exam and re: my eye exam on July 1, 2021, both with Dr. Bonnie Rosenberg. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient, kind and thorough. We had not had our eyes checked for about two years, due to our long-term eye doctor’s retirement just before the pandemic. We had some anxiety about slight changes in our vision - and Dr. Rosenberg gave us peace of mind with her explanation and her prescriptions during the exam. Everyone on the staff is very professional and so considerate of patients. The optical shop is immaculate and the opticians are so knowledgeable and helpful with working with you concerning insurance and eyewear selection. Impressive array of designer and standard frame styles! They also give you the option of updating your lens prescription in a pair of beloved older frames if you’re willing to sign a waiver on breakage.I chose two pairs of prescription sunglasses (see photos of 1 pair - Guess frames - love the animal print on the temples - and chose to update the prescription lenses In my favorite tortoise shell Polo Ralph Lauren frames (signed the waiver). Thank you, Dr. Koppel and Dr. Rosenberg, & EyeKrafters Staff!

I haven't been to the eye doctor in many years and I severely regret coming here. The staff were all very nice, but I had a very strange interaction with the younger doctor. I needed glasses, but ended up not getting a prescription because the prescription she ended up giving me wasn't right at all because during the selection, when I said both were clear, she thought I meant both she bad. She was impatient. She answered questions for me, and I didn't have the energy to keep correcting her, so I ended up saying "sure" to pretty much everything she said. When I had questions though, she was very defensive, and acted as if I was telling her she was wrong even though I was just asking for clarification. I tried to tell her I didn't think the prescription was right and she just said it takes time to get used to a new prescription...

They need zero stars.. I was treated very rudely today by one of the staff. Dr Koppel has been my dr since i was teenager. But he lost a patient today. I don't know what the woman's name was. But to be rude was totally uncalled for.

Excellent eye care. I had an emergency eye situation and they took me in to see the doctor immediately. Everyone I interacted with from the front desk to the medical staff was friendly, professional and compassionate. Dr Rosenberg was phenomenal! Excellent bedside manner while performing a thorough exam. My issue was resolved and at my follow up appointment, again I experienced no wait and the same kind and caring service I experienced the first time. I will be switching to this office for my annual eye exams. Highly recommend!

First and foremost, I want to give a big thank you to Marilyn. She's a sweetheart and goes above and beyond to help you and ways finds a way to make you laugh.Dr. Koppel is the gold standard of eye doctors. The equipment he used for my eye exam was modern, and it even provided us with a diagram of my eye. Dr Koppel walked me through the graphs and what it meant for me.Pro Tip: They have a large selection of frames and contacts. If you decide on contacts, make sure to ask for a few different trail ones .

Really bad customer service ,if you call and ask for a immediate appointment for any ongoing issue ,today I called them and asked for an appointment as I’m having irritation and itchiness in the eyes ,they said they can give appt after 1 week and said pick some over the counter eye drops !!! really bad experience. Never recommend to anyone.please stay away from the place.Rude behavior from all the assistants and front office staff.Doctors are ok though.

They charge contact lens fitting fees when all they did was fill out a prescription. They will keep trying to sell you stuff and literally pressurize you to get the lens and glasses from them. This is the one in South Plainfield.
