I stopped by in this Big lots in South Plainfield it's actually not that bad it's pretty clean place workers are nice if you need to find something just ask them they'll walk you right to it and they are always stocking the shelves, I couldn't believe the variety of things they have food products all kinds of kitchen and bedding stuff they actually sell beds outdoor umbrellas gazebos all oddball things that you wouldn't even think of the cleanliness of the store surprised me I was just expecting different but it was good I'll be back and I even bought something that day so good job Big lots keep it up ☑️🤯😁😁😁🤓+++!!!🤯

It is a economical store. Quality seems to be ok. You can compare with Bob. Nothing close to Costco on quality and to Walmart for price. Location is convenient with lots of free parking.

Expensive in many ways. I used to think Big Lots was cheap like Dollar General, but no, I found things that at Target would be like $3 and there at Big Lots like $10. If you want to buy shirts and things like that maybe it would be cheap but in everyday items and food not at all

Prefer this location than the one across my house which is Woodbridge 100% !!! They always have my online order/store pick up ready in hours!! They may be smaller compare to other locations but the Associates and Manager are very willing to assist and accommodate you to their best! Shout out to associate name, Brandon and the male manager!

Big Lots is discounted and closeout store. For people on a budget there are some nice products. I would suggest that consumers know their products and prices. Although you can find some low prices, many others are equal if not more costly. The store is clean and well organized. Located within a strip mall. It has plenty of parking with good lighting.

Went unexpectedly to look for a couple of bday gifts for a 1yr old girl and a 2yr old boy. We found both really great gifts, a talking baking set for the 1yr old and a talking laptop for the 2yr old. Also bought wrapping paper and ribbon for them. I also got some great clearance items in the food section for $1 and $2 so that was a win! At the register I couldn't find my coupon so the mice cashier found one and used it for me to get the additional $10 off. Because she went the extra to do that, I will definitely be back again much sooner as I'm not a regular shopper there but def will start 👍

I have 2 Big Lots near my home. This Big Lots is much better. Clean, organized and a much better selection. Workers were very pleasant and helpful. Helped me put heavy items in my car. Best one around by far!

Good store, but one needs to be careful in that many items at this store are rejects and seconds from other stores. This is especially true of food items and refrigerated and frozen goods. Check the expiration datesThere are good deals to be had on furniture and home goods, as well as gardening supplies. Many small appliances are available here.Plenty of free parking.

This was a very nice store. There was lots of parking with buggy returns. The lot was clean and no loitering. The store was welll laid out and everything was easy to find. They even had a few cashiers on duty but the store did have alot patrons. They also offer a store card that tracks your spending and gives you rewards.

A very good place. Affordable and quality is good. Furniture is cheaper but you need to check the quality vs price. Sometimes you get an awesome piece at very good rates. Toys are very good and affordable.

Been coming to this store for years but never have I been greeted so amazingly as today. I met a lady named Rashmeen & she was terrific! She answered all of my questions and made sure I was completely satisfied with my new Sealy memory foam topper and also gave me the best deal. Friendly, knowledgeable, & professional. If your looking for help at big lots look no further then Rashmeen. 10/10 !!

I went there to purchase two things that I looked up on their web page before I went. $2 bleach, which on the web page said was in stock, and mothballs that were also supposed to be in stock. They had neither product, and I even asked an associate for help, but they could not really provide any. I don't think I'll go back to shop there.

Absolutely love this store. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. Never had any problems in this store and the furniture is great. They have amazing quality furniture for incredible prices. And the furniture manager is always so nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend buying furniture at this store and anything else you may need.

We shopped at Big Lots in Springfield years ago and were disappointed when it closed. So we made a pint to stop at this Big Lots when in the neighborhood. We used to buy tons of stuff because. They had all sorts of unusual stuff and food and other staples WERE at great bargain prices. NO MORE! The quality of the stuff was like at a dollar store but the prices were triple or quadruple.This will the last time we stop here.

We all know Big Lots. In comparison to other locations, this one is by far the worst I have visited. Though not an avid customer, I do know my shopping and have worked in the corporate aspect of retail in the past. Extremely understaffed, especially for the weekend following the 4th of July as well as promoting a 50% off purchase promo, how could they not expect a large crowd? There was a line to the literal back of the store with, yes my reader, ONE cashier open for the majority of the time I was within. There were also no sales reps on the floor itself in any department. As it was a mere 10:00AM, shelves were already barren as if not restocked for the said sale the night before. I never enjoy writing a bad review, but sadly if you are in the area and need to stop in a retail establishment such as this one, I highly recommend a different store all together.

Four stars for today service. Watch not always the case however You really never know what you're going to find can't find Hairspray or gel so I had to go to a different store. The store has become more of a discount furniture store

First, this Big Lots is a surprisingly organized discount store. Very easy to find what I was looking for, even with the few associates there were the particular morning I went. I would keep this store in mind, for as-needed runs.

What a beautiful store. They did a big makeover on this store, reminds me of Target. The layout is wonderful and prices are unbeatable. Love the new fall patina look and farmhouse chic items.

Their website does NOT correspond with what they actually have in their store so be sure to call before going through with your order. They will not send you an email saying that the item is not available either even after you give your information. So the conformation email you will be waiting for will never arrive.
