Large selection of food and beverages and lots of other department store items.Prices are a little higher than Dollar General but not by much usually.I think they maintain stock much better than Dollar General which means I can find items I bought before without too much worry about it being out of stock. Unfortunately Dollar General often runs out of stock on popular items, and they might be out for two or more weeks. I suspect that is due to not enough workers that can maintain items on the shelves, and low stock from their suppliers. I told them about it but all they said is they have to wait for the trucks to deliver.Family Dollar has more workers and you don't have to wait for a cashier to come to the register to check your items out, another issue with Dollar General. I still shop at both places though.

I think it’s more a convenient store, rather than a dollar store. Compared to other dollar stores, this one has the fewer varieties of merchandise, and the price is normal.

I got here at 7:50 and met another queen who opened the store at exactly 7:50 this morning on time thank you for everything Sandra. I found some nice wall tiles where I could cover the front face of my mother-in-law's bar and the backsplash above her stove and her sink for a dollar a tile peel and stick they are awesome can't wait to put them up. If 30 tiles it's not enough I will be back

Most of the associates are helpful and cordial. They seem to be short handed, and close many nights before the posted time by as much as 15 minutes. Should post hours of business " 9 am until right around 10pm". Aggravating when your phone says 9:48 and they already locked the doors..

If I could give 0 star I would!!!! Management sucks!! Every single time I’ve gone here I’ve had NOTHING BUT A BAD EXPERIENCE!! No one is ever at the check out. Every single employee is rude and has an attitude. There are items in the clearance section that THEY put that aren’t really on clearance. I’ve just never seen a business ran so BADLY!

I have been a customer with this location for 5 years. Since management has changed I have had the worst experience I've ever witnessed in any retail establishment. I came in to exchange a pair of pants that we're too small.I was refused the exchange because I didn't have a receipt. Although the return and exchange policy is clearly displayed on the counter with or without a receipt the store manager denied me the exchange. When I asked for a reasonable explanation as to why I'm getting denied service even with a legal policy at hand. He called the police on me. The police explained to him his error and he still refused to do the exchange. I was advised at this point I can pursue a civil complaint for his lack of compliance. This was embarrassing and unforgiving and I will be taking action.

Everything in wrong price spot this is very frustrating when you get up to the register and wonder why your total is so high. False advising totally deceiving im upset 😡 with this its annoying for the customer fix it

@Familydollar Your store manager at the store in South bound brooke on main street is verbally abusive to many customers. While in the store he argued with and refused business to two customers and refused them business. Before I arrived at register I made sure to clarify what my needs were and he said ok. Once I got to the register he became beligerant started shouting get out of my store, embarrassing me and threatening to call the police on me. I asked him to please call the police and tell them what his reasoning behind refusing me business is. I will never shop at your store again..the manager Prior to this horrible man Jogin was better Sandra was the best kept the store clean. This man is a monster.

Loaded coupons on their site for the first time and got some good deals. One of my coupons didn't go on though so check your receipt at the store. I double checked the coupon and it should have applied. Good prices.

Wonderful selection of items, particularly plastic tubs, in an always upkept and neat store. The staff is friendly and kind and they all seem to care about their customers as people! As a teacher who frequents many dollar stores, this is my go to in the area!!!

This F.D. was Totally Clean everything in its own neatly area, way better then the one on rt.27, which is always Cluttered up with this and that. I was very Pleased, Good Job F.D. of Bound Brook

The Bound Brook location is the best. Shelves are always stocked, no boxes in the isle, and the staff is helpful and friendly. Very clean location.

Almost everything at cheaper price at one place, from electronics, utensils, storage containers, towels, curtains, room fresheners, cleaning stuff, soft drinks, beauty products, shampoo, soaps, batteries, paintings, lamps, bathroom accessories, to usual dollar shop stuff. Nice place in the neighborhood.

Staff is never at the counter.. The store is always a mess and it takes forever to check out even if you are the only one in the store. I no longer shop here.
