The nice thing about Ace is it feels like a mom-and-pop hardware store. The people who work there bring their expertise, helping you find solutions to problems. 95% of the time, they have what you need, and that 5% that they don’t, it is most likely because you’re looking for a specialty item. I’ve never gotten that personable touch from anyone at one of the big box hardware stores. If you need paint, a spark plug for a generator, a key made, or plumbing, Ace IS the place.

Hard to find smaller local hardware stores...it is important to shop local when u can, chain store close our old , well known stores. So I Love ACE , employees and even management helped me on a return with no receipt. Above and beyond..If they so have they will order..why go to a chain store and see places like this close up. Ace in Somerville by 7/11. Love you guys

Great selection of grills, which is what we came there for (a Traeger specifically). They have a selection of grills you won't find in big box stores like Home Depot.It's become our go-to hardware and paint store since then. They have a great Yeti section too. Ton's of quality items packed into this store. Highly recommend for anyone in the area looking for quality appliances, paint, and hardware.

We had our first & certainly not last visit to this wonderful store. We were greeted the moment we walked by the kind & wonderful Tom. We had the good fortune of meeting Kevin who helped us with paint samples. And the lovely Karen our cashier closed out our visit. This store is immaculate & filled with people we now call friends! ACE is the best hardware store. Not too big. But has all the little things I need for my craft I can't buy anywhere else. Highly recommended and and the staff is very helpful.

This was my first time visiting this Ace Hardware location, and I was very happy with the customer associates and assistance! They helped me put together my hard hat after I bought it, and I greatly appreciated their concern and taking their time in helping me. The staff here was really nice and helpful. I appreciate the place being dog friendly as well. There was one gentleman who helped us with paint samples and gave us a lot of information we didn't even think of. I was really impressed how knowledgeable he was and how kind everyone was at this store. I didn't have to chase anyone down for help like I would at a Loews/Home Depot. I'd recommend this Ace Hardware store.

Post Ace Hardware is best hardware store ! I've never met a more friendly and helpful staff. I walked in and was greeted with so many hellos and smiles, the staff made me feel right at home. They stock everything and they get order, build and delivery any model of Weber grill that's produced. I ordered a Special edition weber that cannot be bought at the bigger chains. Dan noticed a small scratch on my grill lid and pointed it out to me immediately. He ordered a new lid and still delivered the grill because he knew I was excited to start grilling. Need a key copied? Rob at Post Ace Hardware is simply the best. He worked hard and went above and beyond to make sure our key was properly copied. I do not live in the area, but drove here bc there was no one else around who could do it. Thank you!!

What a fantastic hardware store!! they have EVERYTHING! and there are plenty of employees ready and willing to help, something that is often missing in the big box stores. This is 25 minutes from my home, but this store is well worth the trip. It's wonderful to see a non-big box hardware store doing a thriving business. I will be back!

This place is amazing! The customer service cannot be beat especially putting larger stores to shame. Bill B in hardware was sad to tell me they didn't have the right nut for the bolt I was trying to match, then after more searching he chased me down in the parking lot before I left to make sure I got it! And brought a lollipop for my daughter and a dog treat for my dog, all for a $5 sale. Customer for life!

I like it, old school hardware store feeling..there are other ones closer my house, but i like this one.Very helpful staff, and the store has lots of the necessities of any toolman, and also.carry some unique items.I had bought some paint and had the color i needed mixed for me, by a very helpful store staff.

Big fan till Saturday; not anymore - Real water is tested when you are returning the product and not buying. When I went to return the product because it caused me $500 damage, store manager questioned me even if I bought the product from the store. This was after I shared the receipt through Ace app. Post that he went looking inside the store and came back to inform that I did not buy from the store. He told me to come and meet the owner. I insisted that I bought it from the store. Manager asked me to show him the place from where I picked it. I went ahead and showed him in his own store where the product was located. Found three items - disgraceful experience which now won’t be repeated. Again real customer service is when the customer is facing an issue and not when he comes to buy.

This is the place I go first for any household project. Not only is everything easier to find than the big box stores, the staff is an amazing resource if you are not quite sure what you need. You won't find lumber or building materials here, but just about everything else. They're painting section is probably the best around. Also think of them for all your household needs - pests, cleaning, grass seed, fertilizer, faucet repair, you get the picture.

Small but well stocked, a Do-It-Yourselfer's paradise of hard to find project parts. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, as promised in the jingle! Ace has come through for me whenever the big box stores let me down on parts for home repair or fabrication projects, restorations and patio grill maintenance.

One of my cooking pans lost a screw in the dishwasher.Bob took the time to find the perfect cooking safe screw and fasteners! He fixed it in front of me and handed it over.He provided amazing customer service despite it only being a small sale.Wonderful staff and selection. A+

My family has been coming here since 1961. Never disappointed. Friendly and helpful staff. Better service than the big guys. You can get keys cut that Always work! Never had a problem with special orders. They also carry my favorite root beer, Frostop! Steve and staff, keep up the good work!!
