I love this stop and shop because they carry african groceries like Palm Oil, Titus, Ghana peanut butter and stuff from the UK, like mcvities digestive biscuits the only thing I was disappointed was when they increased the prices of my ghana groceries within the fews weeks that they introduced it on the shelf 😑

I spent years shopping at Shop Rite before I discovered how good Stop & Shop is. The things that are most important to me are:The portable scanners. When you enter the store, there is a small kiosk that has a lot of these handheld little scanner devices. You swipe your Stop & Shop card or put in your phone number and it assigns you a scanner. You keep the scanner with you and scan groceries as you put them in your cart. You can bag them and everything. When you get to the self checkout area, you just scan your scanner and your whole cart of items shows up on the screen and you can pay and leave. It’s really convenient. The scanners have touch screens. They show a bunch of info as you scan, and you can also go back to any item and remove it or check information. Great for staying on budget. I know what my total is as I go.The rewards program. I love that I can use reward points for dollars off my next order, but I really love the 10 cents off per gallon of gas. I like to save up and get 50 cents off per gallon and then let the tank run to low and fill it up. The savings there can add up quickly.The app. The Stop & Shop app lets you browse. It also lets you place a pickup or delivery order. The app is pretty easy to use and I like the way everything is organized and the overall look. It lets you make a grocery list that’s really handy too, especially to see prices and plan.Store layout and cleanliness. The stores I have been to have looked very clean. The products are really well organized. It seems like they work hard to maintain a great environment for shopping.I don’t want to shop anywhere else! Stop & Shop is my recommendation any time someone asks.

This is a very good store. It is kept clean at all times, is well stocked, and has decent coupons on their app. I especially love their scanning guns so that I can scan and bag items as I shop, then I can go to the self-checkout and scan 1 barcode and then I'm paying and leave. Absolutely the best way to shop for me.

I will never go back. This place is completely unprofessional and yesterday was one of my worst experiences. I got screamed at by the lady running self check out because of a digital coupon. I was inquiring about the deal I saw in the store & mentioned that before I paid at my checkout. The lady kept getting close & putting her hands near my face. I never felt so uncomfortable & I actually said to her that I didn’t understand why she was getting so loud yelling at me as I was backing away from her. Her response was that she’s full of energy & this is the way she is. She also didn’t really explain much just repeating louder & louder it was a digital coupon over & over again drawing more attention from near by customers. I just tried to explain to her that the advertisement in the store was deceiving because I look for deals while I shop I don’t use my phone or any device to clip coupons. She told me to leave a review for the mangers so they can have feedback for the way the store does their advertisements. The other items I bought were automatically discounted when I scanned them there was no problem & they were advertised the same way. If stop & shop cares the slightest bit for their customers experiences they should send in secret shoppers. You can see just how terrible this place is & maybe hold workers accountable for how horrible they do their jobs.

Stop and shop overall is not bad but it’s hit or miss when it comes to the seafood department. You either get the guy with the aggressive attitude or NO ONE comes to counter. For example, I came to the store today and I came early because usually they’re wild caught salmon sells out quickly. I get to the counter no one is there. Granted not a big deal because people could be doing something in the back or he had to go attend to something and then come back out. Already waited almost 20 minutes then I flagged down someone that works there and asked her can you page the seafood department I’ve been waiting and there’s no one coming out. Mind you within that 20 minutes I was waiting, I did see someone in the back kind of rummaging through things so I just assumed he would finish and then come out and he just disappeared. So she paged the seafood department and still waited. Another 15 to 20 minutes and no one came out. It was just frustrating because why do I have to wait almost 40 minutes for someone to come out just to get an order for me. My time is precious just like anyone else. If you go to ShopRite, which I ended up going to, someone came up to me within 10 to 15 seconds and I was in and out in 10 minutes. I’ve been going there for years and I see a lot of the same people that have worked there for years. It’s like if you don’t want to help anyone or partake and customer service don’t work in a place where you have to talk to people sometimes!! I see why a lot of people stick to ordering their groceries, at least they don’t have to deal with unhappy rude people!

One of the biggest Stop & Shop supermarkets I've been to in the area with a huge selection of cheeses and breads. The aisles don't feel cramped like at Shoprite. Unfortunately, this location is a bit far, so I shop here only if I'm in the area.

Why does this Stop&Shop always smell like rotten fish? It’s disgusting so please post back when the stench problem is resolved! I can’t step foot back in there knowing I’m expected to shop at a stinky store.

Stop and Shop seem to be the grocery store I always go to. The Somerset store has the nicest flower arrangements at times better flowers than the veronica ave location.

The worst customer service in the town , one of the cashier attendant was extra ordinary rude and worthless to have for stop n shop . Will never go again to such racist store and would not recommend anybody to go there . Go to trade joes much cleaner amazing staff

We love this store and visit often to buy household items..They offer groceries, including fresh produce, meat, dairy products, bakery items, and packaged goods. They also carry household items, cleaning supplies, health and beauty products, pet supplies, and sometimes even have a pharmacy within their stores. Additionally, they have a floral department, and a selection of prepared foods.

Marica in the florist department is a true artist! She did a fantastic job arranging 2 dozen roses for Valentine's Day. Thanks Marica!! Note the picture - vase was not included, but the arrangement is exactly how she did it. My wife was thrilled!!

I usually have a nice shopping experience when I come to this store however, your associates easing up on me and standing behind me at the self checkout is very uncomfortable. If I need help, I'll ask for it, but that kind of behavior feels like something else. Not necessary.

As a former East-Coaster who lived in the surrounding state of Delaware for 4.5 years, I occasionally went to either Giant or Stop and Shop Stores for my grocery needs.Recently, I returned to the Eastern United States Region and paid a visit to this very Stop and Shop location looking for some Utz Pretzels. I was able to find the Pretzels I was looking for with no problem, something that has not happened to me since the persistent supply chain issues began.The store itself is an amazing store that itself is in a vein of that of a Kroger in terms of its sold product, and I, for certain did indeed miss this store brand whilst in Colorado prior to this visit.

Management will have workers follow you around the store, especially if you’re black. They don’t mind making you feel extremely uncomfortable and breathing down your neck while you’re just trying to shop.

2 days ago, I went to the Stop and Shop Easton Ave in Somerset and bought this cheese. At home, I noticed that it was totally moldy. Strangely enough, the date hasn't even expired. It must have been lying around somewhere. That shouldn't really happen.

It's market, lucky uf you get what your shopping for. They were always know for great produce, sea food & cold cuts. Unfortunately not at this store, don't know how the people of BR put up with this.

High prices and the WORST SELF CHECKOUT system I've ever seen. Had to manually override via an employee several times while bagging. It's happened to me every time I've been here and I follow the prompts and select "use my own bags". Literally no other grocery store I've experienced has this issue. Combine this with having just one cashier open, it's a big time waste. It's a convenient location but I'll gladly drive a few minutes down the road.

I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of this Stop & Shop location versus other locations. This location reminded me of a Wegman's supermarket, especially the bakery and meats areas. The household section seemed a little neglected but had everything I needed.

This market prices are high. I would love if they just took an inventory and look at the other market prices. Their self-checkout is slow and the womens bathroom is in need of a upgrade it's old and dirty. The health department need to visit the seafood department cause there seafood is bad. I do like they have an organic isle.

This is the store where I do most of my shopping. Close to the house, the staff is friendly, regularly answer questions, helps finds stuff, all with a good attitude. The place is clean, and spills are taken care of quickly, the Robot roaming the isle can be a nuisance and a pest from getting in the way, but it's a little thing.the pharmacy & staff are top notch. Answers all my questions are professional and courteous with a great attitude. Any time I need help or returned something customer service was experience.

It's not a huge Stop & Shop but I've always been able to find everything I've needed. Their fried chicken is amazing as long as you get there earlier than dinner time because then it'll be under a heat lamp that destroys it.The produce, meat, bakery, deli all seem very clean by appearance. The store is maintained nicely as well. Great workers!!! The only thing it doesn't have is a donation area for animals and strays in our area. I literally live 2 minutes away so it's super convenient for us too. But we do have a shelter nearby that does take donations.

It is a convenient location. However, I noticed that many of their items are expired and still on the shelves. Their blackberries and raspberries are always old and have molds. The same is true for their strawberries on occasions. I wished that they would not sell expired products.

I was pleasantly surprised to see lots of sales. I'm staying with my mother while she recovers from knee replacement. I stopped in the store to get a few items. I was about to get food for visitors without breaking the bank. To make it even nicer there was an assortment of beautiful roses, 6 for $5. That really made the table special.Beside the great prices, the shelves were well stocked and I found everything I wanted. The store was neat and the aisles clear. The checkout experience was a good one. I'll go to Stop & Shop more often.
