Snyder’s Farm is amazing!!… Great for all ages. Lots of activities to choose from. We will definitely be back again with the family. We loved the slide and corn maze so much. Word of advice dress warm in the month of October, feels a bit nippy out in the open.

Visited for the 1st time on 5/21/2023. On entry, a nice older man directed us to the parking area at which another man assigned us a parking spot. We bought tickets for the strawberry picking and waited briefly for the tractor to pick us up to the picking fields. Pricing was great and the fruit was delicious. All the strawberries were ripe, sweet and juicy. After that, we took a ride back to the main area where we bought tickets for the kids activity area. They had a bunch of awesome attractions and fun activities for them. By the time it was closing time, the kids still didn't want to leave, so that says it all. Overall a great experience and I will definitely be going back with my family again.

Always a fun time at Snyger's Farm Fall Festival in Somerset, NJ. Snyders has so much for kids to do. A huge slide with a corn pit, a corn maze, hayrides, pumpkin picking, food trucks, and so much more.Pro tips1. Bring cash, they are cash only. $20 per person to get into the fall festival, there's usually a line because everyone wants to go, and if you forgot cash there is an ATM but the line for thr ATM seems even longer than the entrance line. Bring more than you think, it can get expensive, pumpkins are sold per pound.2. Bring an extra bag. They do not allow large bags or coolers, however, there are food trucks, and if you'd like to purchase extra to bring home, the trucks do not have bags. It was difficult to walk around with several funnel cakes, drinks, candy apples, fried oreos etc without dropping anything. An extra bag would have been helpful.3. Dress in layers. It gets cool quickly in the evening but during the day if it's sunny, it could feel comfortable or hot.

This place is amazing. Family run farm that has an awesome hayride and Halloween setup that is a must see. They set up corn kernel pits, a MASSIVE slide (see my pictures), a small beer garden, tons of food and photography props. I cannot recommend this place enough to families and anyone looking for some fall fun and beautiful farm sights.

Cash only! At least when I went on October 9th. It was 15 dollars for entrance but it includes a good amount of things to do. I added a picture that lists what all is included. When you arrive, there's a hay ride that takes you to the festival from the parking lot! Very kid friendly and lots of photo opportunities. My favorite part was the corn maze and the pumpkin patch. There are a few things that aren't included in the price. I saw a pumpkin cannon launcher that was extra and it was pretty cool to watch! The food isn't amazing and a bit pricey but it's to be expected really at something like this! They had BBQ, lemonade stand, funnel cakes and one of the food trucks had seafood. There was an ATM once inside the festival. It is right in front of the big house.

We went there for blue berry pick and meanwhile my kids went the kids play area with me, I don’t recommend because 1. They charge $8 per kid to play in the area. Price is fine as adults picking fruits meanwhile kids can play there. But we got heavy rain after two minutes after we paid the tickets. 2. They are very rude and strict on their rule: after we played two minutes then it was raining and we hided in the big barrel during the rain, then after about 10 minutes the rain stopped, and we got out and wanted to continue to play, the old lady who sold us tickets called us to leave! And she said for safety reason they can’t allow us continue to play which I understand but as we just played couple minutes so I requested they refund us at least some of refund after I paid $16 for two kids and played like two minutes but the First Lady said they have no refund rule, so I asked to talk with the manager. Then they moved us to middle of farm to meet with another woman then she said same thing as when they sold tickets, there was sunshine and after we got in it rainy so they need to stop ppl continue to play there, so I told them we only played like two minutes so it’s unfair we pay same thing as other ppl played almost all days. But the Second Lady refused our requests. So I told them if no refund and no play I would call cops, she doesn’t care. So I called local police then she called owner came as she saw me called police. The third lady (owner) listened to us what happened and I told her again what happened ( during our talk the Second Lady manager still yell I was lying) then the third lady finally gave us refund. So overall we had bad experience with the play area management. But the picking part is fine as they do have very fresh blue berry.

Came here in June for strawberry picking. The farm was large and well organized. Strawberry price was steep $9 per lb and not supple like ones from supermarkets but you pay for the experience. Flavor was good, making nice jam. Price was posted on their media some people just didn't check before coming in. Also it was to support them since they were hit by storm a few days before my visit.

The farm is big and their current fall festival during the weekends is great. They have lots of activities for kids, corn maze, and pumpkin patch with a variety of food trucks. A must visit for the season

This was a great experience a nice time to spend family time with your kids I just didn’t like the lines for some of the activities. The lines at the food trucks were also super long and I think that could’ve been avoided by just adding a few more new vendors besides that it was super fit for kids and overall great experience

12$ seemed pricey until I entered the farm in a hay truck and looked around at the no. of activities for kids and adults! Then I slowly lost track of time...had lots of fun with my niece & nephew! The slide seemed simple but is lil scary! Pumpkin blasting is fun. I didn’t like the maze! Overall When compared to the other farms I visited this is definitely the best when you go with kids!

Nice place to spend the weekend. Tasty strawberries and well maintained farm. On paying 5$ entry fee l, a tractor with hay stack seats will take you to the farm. Strawberries are bit expensive. My son had lots of fun at kid’s activity zone( you need to buy a separate ticket for this). Overall we had nice time.

I went to this farm after reading the reviews and thought I would have the same experience but it was so bad! The staff was good but when we started eating some berries, they said that we were not allowed to eat the berries and will have to pay extra. They also said that they "filmed" us. Like, how? It was on an open field. Isn't the entire point of pick your own farms and entry fees so that we pick and eat too? You are a farm owner who is getting free labor while also charging a premium for the product. And then you do this stuff. Will not be going back here.P.S: Berries were great and plenty.

I came here to go strawberry picking and I wouldn’t recommend. The moment we got off the tractor to enter the field, we started getting scolded for other guests eating strawberries in the field. I had my baby with me on a warm day and they wouldn’t allow me to bring water for her to drink and I had to leave my purse unattended at the tent, which wasn’t mentioned ahead of time. They also overcharged for the strawberries, including the weight of the boxes in the final price.I added an additional star because the kids activity section looked promising and because the strawberries were tasty. However, there are other u-pick farms to go to in the area and I won’t come back here.

Nice Place But Not So Nice Berries10 of us visited Snyder’s Farm for Blueberry and Raspberry picking. They charge $3 per person for just entry for Blueberry picking and $5 for Blueberry and Raspberry combined. They charge additional $5 per pound for Blueberry and $4 for 4 Oz box of raspberry. The farm and the staff and facilities are all very nice. There were plenty of blueberries to pick but they were not the biggest or the best tasting blueberries! Picking raspberries was one of the worst experiences! In my opinion, the farm should not even open this area. The raspberries were tiny and sour and either too soft or too hard to pick! It took two people over an hour to pick 4 Oz raspberry! In my opinion, it’s ok to go here for some fun and experience picking fruit but don’t go with a high expectations of picking a good quality fruit! I highly recommend and request the farm to not even keep raspberry picking area open! It left a bad experience/ taste about the reputation of this farm!

Smaller scale family farms are becoming more rare in the US, and especially in NJ with SO many people moving into the state from other states and other countries, residential and commercial development has consumed a good deal of those farms. This farm is a gem!I'm confused by the negative U-pick reviews, it sounds like it was the first time any of those people had done it - you do NOT get to graze while you are picking, ANYWHERE. Farming is hard work, growing and maintaining fruits and vegetables *costs farmers money* and is hard work. Period. AND, you are not "free labor", there IS no such thing in farming!! What naive, entitled attitudes.Support your local farms and farmers! No Farms No Food!

Hands on! Kids loved it. Choose from a sunflower maze, flower picking, or blueberry picking. Or choose all three

It was great !!! We went as a family and everyone had a great time. We paid $54 for 3 to get in. They have some free activities, and 3 paid ones $5 each. BRING CASH they only accept cash. They have decent amount of food truck selection. Brewery too but wasn't a fan of the 2 beers I purchased. Do NOT expect a whole lot of activities. In 1h 1h30 TOP you've done it all
