Had a problem with my VHF radio, spoke with Gary at the store. He told me a few things to try before I bought a new radio. Sure enough one of the things he suggested was the problem. Saved me from buying a new radio. Can't ask for better customer service!!

My husband was there today and was treated very rudely by the two salesmen in the store. When asked about using his store credit which they couldn’t acces my husband became upset . The man told him if he didn’t like lt here to shop somewhere else. No respect! Poor customer service!! We already spent over $1,000 atWest Marina Sommers Point when we purchased our new boat.We will NEVER shop there again!Disrespected!!

Pricing is ridiculously expensive; I was told they would price match Bass Pro but, when I brought the item to the register, even though it was IDENTICAL, right down to manufacture and size, I was told it was a different color and as a result they could not price match. Additionally, fender whips were $15.99 and the identical item at Bass Pro was $5.99!Suffice it to say that I post this review while waiting at the checkout at Bass Pro. You just lost a huge sale and a future customer.

Sadly all boating stuff is expensive. There is a reason BOAT means "break out another thousand" when it comes to parts or repairs. While you can get parts cheaper online, West Marine comes into it's own when it comes to convenience and knowledge.If I need something today, I can go right there and get it. If I have a question, they have VERY knowledgeable staff on duty who know more about boats than anybody else. The people who work there are not just sales people and clerks, they live and breath boats.
