Store cleanliness is mediocre. Staff is horrible for help with finding items or general questions about anything. I literally live within 10 mins of Target and drive 25mins to Walmart. Only go to Target if you want to be treated horrible and rudely by staff then still not leave with items you want to purchase.Shame on you Target for horrible experience more than once by customers.... tisk....tisk..... Def need to retrain staff and care about customers. I couldn't even get a manager bc nobody that works there knows customer service is part of their job!! Ugh, horrible

If I could give a zero star I would. I placed an order for a high priced item and they claimed that they had it in stock but to call and hour later to recheck. Not even an hour later passed and the item was canceled because they didn't have it in stock. I called the store to ask why a high priced item would be out of stock if it let me place it and they just said the system was wrong. I have been working in retail for 3 years now and we have never made a mistake that big before . We always check our inventory every day especially if it's high priced items. When I told them that they did nothing to correct it and then hung up on me without asking if there was anything else they could help me with. I've never been treated so terribly at a target before. I would not spend any money here.

Maybe it's time for more Employees. I shouldn't have to wait 10 to 15 minutes to pay for the 2 things i bought. This ain't Walmart. I dont work here and don't want to. Target is Supised to be Better then Walmart.

This is one of the nicest Target stores in the tri-state area. I tried to stay away from all the stores in Philly because all the hoodlums in that area ruin it for everybody. The Somers point store is very nice the people that work in there or very professional and respectful I shop here all the time and will continue to. Keep up the good work five stars all the way.

A bunch of employees took a Starbucks cup. That was a new release out of my and what I went to grab it. They said it was not for sale yet and then proceeded to buy every single cup after protecting it for about 2 hours.I am now in touch with target corporate for the incident and am contacting Starbucks corporate as well.The cups were not supposed to be sold until today so they actually were going against Starbucks policy and are simply taking advantage of their jobs.

For the life of me I could not get through to any department. I wanted to check something was in stock so I tried calling the department and guest services and it just constantly rang then hung up. I tried 10ish times over 3 hours and just nothing.

Specifically Target of Somers Point is a dream come true. Last night I suddenly urgently needed to replace chipped Teflon pots and pans. Guess who came in clutch with a sweet deal on a Calphalon self stacking set. They had options like two great TFal starter sets that could get me cooking for $60-80 and some mid range brands with sets for $100-200 too. She's just off parkway exit 29 so convenient for Cape May and Atlantic counties. If you're a tourist in our area this is a clean and well organized, but smaller store. They have just enough space to cram in everything I need, so if you're traveling and forgot something, this is your everything spot.

I ❤️ Target! They have a wide variety of items to choose from with great prices. There's always a bargain somewhere in the store. The associates are the best. Helpful and friendly. They accept cash and cards. Plenty of on site free parking. Wheelchair accessible. Public restrooms, too. Enjoy!

I love this Target, but the elderly woman who works late nights at self checkout really needs a reality check. Long brown hair and glasses. Consistently every time me and my boyfriend are here she is hovering over our shoulders, on us about our bags, and constantly checking if we have a receipt, but yet when I’m alone, she doesn’t nag me about receipts or anything. To put into perspective and implications, my boyfriend is a darker complexion hispanic. There’s also literally a review on Yelp complaining about this same issue from what i’m sure is the same woman. You’re not asset protection, your job is to check for issues, I’m literally a cashier myself and know this. Will not be visiting this Target at night anymore as my boyfriend feels uncomfortable with her obvious discrimination. Hope everyone who relates can get this heads up before having the misfortune of interacting with this woman!

Ordered a drive up pickup order and after getting home EVERY SINGLE perishable item was completely SOURED. The milk carton had expanded so far it was bursting when I opened it. The yogurt smelled so bad and had yellow all over the top… this is disgusting and dangerous. As a pregnant woman I am worried about the safety measures and precautions these employees are taking with the items they select for you. SO DANGEROUS. Thanks you for nothing I would never shop at this target ever again- word to the wise every cleaning item I bought was cheaper at the Mays Landing target.

This was the Target for OCNJ vacations but not anymore. I've been in this store multiple times and I've felt uncomfortable every time. Mr. Smiley asset will follow you around and out of the store even if you go to a human cashier. I don't work at Target, so why would I use self checkout each time? Either offer bags of some sort or call your watch dogs off. It's awkward walking out with an armful or cart full of paid items and then being treated like a criminal. I usually bag my items at the car so I'm not walking around with bags in my cart. My record is clean, no need to start petty theft this late in life. Target used to be a place of shop and chill, but not this one.

Very small store with low inventory. Not like any Target I have been to before. Couldn't find anything that I was looking for and of course no associates in sight. Not at all appealing. Mays Landing store has issues but still better than this location.

Smaller than the one in Mays Landing and of course has smaller inventory. Some items are significantly more expensive when compared to Mays Landing, Manahawkin or some other stores. I was there today and it was decently staffed, very clean and nice and organized. No trashed isles, bathrooms were clean, shelves organized and no merchandise everywhere.

This location just celebrated its first anniversary…so a brand new location, has a Starbucks within! Not an A store (size), more of a B location crammed into a former Kmart. Supply chain issues have impacted inventory here, like everywhere else… but this store clearly delivers diversity to the area. Prior to this it was Big Lots or Amazon.

If I could give zero starts I could. When I first heard of the Target opening in my town I was excited, just to be let down tremendously. They are ALWAYS extremely under staffed yet never hiring. The clothes section is a JOKE. Especially the women’s section. The clothing is trying to be trendy but only applies to middle aged white women who wear Little House on the Prairie clothes. I can never find a dress or shirt that isn’t atrocious. I’m baffled at how pathetic this Target is. DO BETTER,I know you guys have the money hire more people and a new stylist. Also who puts out St.Patrick’s day stuff but no Valentine’s day?

Store has been open for over a year now and the clothes for women are horrible and expensive. Socks and stocking rows are nearly empty. Plenty of storage containers. Just an overall bad selection of products and they can’t keep blaming supply chains. I can get what I need on line just fine so why can’t they? This is why brick and motor stores are failing. For years now women’s clothing has been laughable and the buyers continue to ignore reviews.

Refused to sell me 3 items because they would not ring up and they didn’t show up on the target app. The lady at customer service told me I would have to wait until the vendor came back to pick them up and then bring them back with a new barcode.

Love that there’s a new Target in SP! Mays Landingbus my normal go to, but I can stop on my way home if necessary, just a jump off the parkway and right back on. Very convenient! It takes time to fully stock and supply a new store so some of the products were initially not there. Was there a couple of days ago, found everything I wanted.Great job, Target!

Part 1Last year I loved Target (2021) I did just about all my Xmas shopping and signed up for the delivery service. It was $100 for the whole year! The reason I first decided to go even though i am aware they are a little pricey these days, is because they were open til midnight during the 2021 Xmas season.Well, its changed. My opinion has done a complete 180. The Somers Point location of Target has the absolute worst customer service. Worst I have ever experienced, Comcast phone service is stellar compared to the employees I delt with.1st, I have worked in retail for over 15 years And the general rule is that customers are allowed to shop until close. 2nd,.you never turn off lights, or turn off the music while consumers are present. The people.who shop essentially pay you. Basically, I pay those employees, and if i had it my way, they would have to go thru a rigorous customer service lesson. And basic education on treating a human being.There is a correct was to escort paying customers out. You walk up to them, and ask if they need help. Not one single person asked me if I needed helo the entire. Time.Not. Once.Now, It was xmas eve. I was there about 2 hrs before close. To which they were already asking people to come.up.with purchases because they are "closing in 2 hrs."I was the last customer, and i had a few things that were not priced. Which brings me to num three3. If you do not want to price check, make sure the stuff is priced. Or, if you do not want to work, dont. I am pretty sure that you are gettinf paid to answer questions and ring peoooe uo. You are NOT getting paid to talk.I had 2 carts and there was anice toung lady that started to ring me. She was perfectly fine. She checked prices and rang what i wanted.All of a sudden a Hispanic man came and interrupted and took over. He was not a bit rude, and did his best. But a tall, young guy, with dirty brown/blondish came up and started interrupting and asking if i was getting this and if i was getting that, and taking away the things. I think the man cashier got stressed and felt like he had to agree with the white boy, who was pushy and took over.I ended up getting double charged for things, and charged for things i did not get at all, totaling almost $200 dollars over.I knew it was not correct, but i was getting pushed out of the store.

I have never witnessed such a scarce inventory in my life. I blamed it on them being newly opened during a pandemic, but it’s now been open for a year and it hasn’t changed. Grocery section is great; but if you’re looking for clothes, don’t come here. Their maternity section is ONE 2 foot rack of odds and ends clothing. What a disgrace.

Bought a Baby Breeza in January, the machine only lasted 5 months before breaking, took back and the rude manageress said there was a 90 day return policy, absolutely pathetic place, will NEVER step foot in again! It’s all cheap Chinese rubbish anyway!

Would rate this store 0 stars if I could. Sent my boyfriend over with my debit card to buy a fire stick he didn’t realize that the cashier never gave it back till he was on the way back from the store. I have called Target multiple times and not one department answered the phone

This store doesnt have a large selection of items, almost like it's a Target Lite. It's also more expensive than the May's Landing store, significantly more expensive on some items. The probiotic I buy is $5.50 more expensive at this store! I regularly buy 3 items at Target that come out to $46 total at the May's Landing store, but come out to $53 at the Somers Point store. Some cashiers will price match it, some claim they can't price match another Target store. It costs me less than $7 in gas to go to the other store which has a larger selection of items and the plaza has a larger selection of stores as well.

PLEASE either shut off the sound system or fix it. The Christmas music cut off every 15-20 seconds so it was like a form of torture, when was the music going to cut off next. Are they using the old K-Mart system? The women's t-shirts on the table were either XS or S, does the supply chain only release small size garments. This Target did not have my size furnace filters so I drove 12+ miles to the Mays Landing store to buy them - this is not a supply chain issue. Other than this, I'm glad to have a Target in this convenient location, I hope they get their inventory in order.

A new Target is definitely something to be geeked about 🤓 for sure; however I need whoever is in charge of inventory to like, up the ante. I swear the shelves are as sparse as the day they opened. It was expected for the first couple of months but now, I’d love to actually be able to buy what I need.
