True value is a very friendly place with knowledgeable assistance who will help you with everything you need for your home or home improvement. The people were very nice and helpful there's always someone there if you need help and they are very knowledgeable. It's a great place if your kid plays street hockey also they had carry Milan and Bauer equipment, and they're very good about sizing your kid up for helmets elbow pads, knee pads, shin guards, hockey sticks, hockey balls and everything else you would need for either ice hockey or street hockey. Very nice place to shop.

Shore True Value is the best! There's always an associate handy to help you get whatever the job is done. They are knowledgeable and always pleasant. Great prices and terrific Sales. Rob in Paints is awesome! Bigger stores can be intimidating at times, that's why I love shopping at my hometown True Value. Best in the business!

Thank you to Salvatore @ True Value in Somers Point for his wonderful service. I needed some vintage roller shades that I got off eBay to be cut to fit my windows. He took the time to verify the measurements I needed & the shades turned out perfect. The cost was also very reasonable. I highly recommend both Salvatore & True Value. My grandmother always went to a True Value back in the 60’s & 70’s for household needs & it’s nice to see their tradition continues.

this store is not as big as a home Depot but let me tell you what every time I go there they seem to have everything I need. They take the time to help me walk through the store and find what I need. five stars all the way keep up the good work I will make sure I come back for all my needs.

This store had a wide selection of items. Everything crom electric, plumbing and outdoor equipment. This is definitely one stop shoping for small home repair. It is convenient to get to a d the staff was super friendly and helpful. I will definitely be a return customer.

Very helpful and friendly compared to my usual experiences, of being obviously and deliberately stalked like im stealing their stuff. As if! This time they called a gentleman from the back to help me by looking up if they could order the type of item i was looking for and even showed me some in stock items that might work for the job i wanted. Above and beyond and didnt feel like a criminal with a police escort this time. Much better shore keep it up and I'll shop more since i found other items i require for my macrame business. Thanks

My son stopped in to get a couple of nuts and bolts for a project. Employees ignored him while asking people right next to him if they could help them. Three stars because they actually had the nuts and bolts, took 2 stars away because he had to find them himself out of all the drawers with nuts and bolts in them and the employees were not friendly. We live a few blocks away but will be going to another hardware store in the future where employees actually help everyone.

The web site does not match their store hours during virus period. They are a lazy company that needs to be technically aware to serve the public and maintain safety and they obviously don't care. Making customers come out when we are supposed to be adhering to Gov Murphy orders to stay home only for essential needs is not their concern. They should have updated their web site for the publics awarenesses and safety. When we arrived a store all we found was a paper note on door with new hours. Very unacceptable in these challenging times.

There is no excuse for a company with a well established website and google review comments right FROM THE OWNER themself to NOT the have correct hours on the main Google search results. I DROVE OUT FROM GALLOWAY ON MY ONLY DAY OFF JUST TO FIND THE STORE IS COMPLETELY CLOSED ON SUNDAYS... IT SAYS RIGHT THERE ONLINE THAT THEY ARE OPEN UNTIL 4PM!! I WILL NEVER CONSIDER GOING THERE AGAIN.

New Jersey is breaking daily records with folks contracting Covid. During my visit today not one store employee was wearing either a mask or face covering, including cashier’s. Why patronize a business that fails to demonstrate proper health practices during a pandemic? I will no longer frequent this establishment.

Had an odd and complicated situation with my washer hookup. I needed a plumber and just could not find one on a Sunday noon. I called True Value and spoke to Fitz. He told me he can show me what to do if I come into True Value. Next Im in the store and Fitz is patiently, literally teaching me in detail exactly what had to be done. As I type this my washer is working and I only knew how to switch a light bulb! Thank you Fitz you went above and beyond your job!

Great place for your DIY needs. If you have a question, take a picture and they can suggest parts, tools and how to help. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Great local supporter of youth sports.
