Great experience. Store is amazing. Clean. Friendly staff. Great selection. I was literally blown away . Especially when the man of my dreams walked by. Everything that I'm attracted to. Huge butt. Thar took my breath away. I was amazed at a Caucasian guy with this amazing butt. Anyway yes Acme is a great place to shop!!!!!!

I get that sometimes you have to reface or change the store. But why would you choose to do it during the daytime. Half the aisles you can't get down the aisles because your workers are in the middle of them. No one is saying Excuse me to even try to get out of your way. Maybe next time you should close the store to do this or possibly better yet. Have a brilliant idea and do it at night. So disappointing as a acme customer ...complete let down as a customer

I'm from Middle township area n while up in Linwood decided to stop at the Acme there to look for an item my store no longer carrys. Anyway,while there decided to purchase some Sushi for a quick bite in my car. BIG MISTAKE, after 2 bites I could tell it wasn t fresh or made daily. It was probably 2 days old. Dry, not tasty at all. I threw the rest away n went home. The Shop Rite in Rio Grande has someone there daily during the week making it in front of you 4+ hours, daily. Nothing is left in case more than 24 hours. The owner or manager of this Acme should be ashamed selling this as fresh. Not only could I tell it was 2 days old but the green paste was hard as a rock n the sliced horseradish was dry n hard to separate. I wouldn t buy any meats, fish or cold cuts there knowing they sell old fresh food n advertise it as fresh. I know Shop Rite doesn't t do that kind of stuff.

I totally understand the times we are in and finding help especially good help is difficult.This has nothing to do with that.I run in my local Somers Point ACME to buy some Liscio's rolls which I'm very grateful they carry.Once I grabbed them I decided to stop at the deli for a pound of provolone.I get there and I take a number. I'm number 71 and 69 is up on the board.I figure with three employees behind the counter cutting I should be out of there real quick. Wishful thinking.So after the one young lady is done cutting one of the customers orders instead of calling 70 she decides to start filling the salad trays (macaroni, potato, cole slaw, etc).Ok there are only two of us waiting to be helped but I let it go.Then the two customers who placed their orders are done with in seconds of each other.The male employee calls 69 to which the customer says that person was already helped and he is 70.The employee takes his order and starts cutting his cheese.Instead of the woman employee calling 71, my number, she decides she is going to do something else with lunch meat that was on a cutting board behind her.At least a minute goes by (maybe two) another employee asks the woman doing something with the lunch meat if she was going to help the customers.She says something to the effect that the customers are being helped but she would make sure.The gentleman who is already being helped said he was good and that's when I finally spoke up "I'm not being helped".She asked what I wanted and I told her a pound of Primo provolone.She asked if I want the sharp.I said "no the regular one".After digging through the cheese, which from where I was standing didn't look labeled, I asked her if she "could just open a new package since it was taking so long and I didn't want a mistake made'.After telling me there are a lot of cheeses and they are labeled she said they didn't have the cheese I wanted.I didn't understand her answer when I was staring right at it in the display counter.I said forget about it and left.From the time I got to the deli counter to the time I finally gave up was about twenty minutes.My recommendation is for ACME to retrain this employee so no one else has to have their precious time wasted.Or you can drive a quarter of a mile down the road Santori's Produce & Deli Market (510 New Rd, Somers Point, NJ 08244).You will get better service and cheaper prices on lunch meat.By the way I did pay for my rolls.

I stopped into this store at 8 pm and attempted to get something from the deli one worker cleaning up and ignored me as though I wasn't even standing there so I didn't get anything there then I check out with the little bit that I did pick and I go to the customer service desk to purchase cigarettes and a clerk told me it was closed so I again didn't get that so I come to your grocery store and ended up having to stop somewhere else to get what I came into your grocery store for anyway...use to be a place where I could make it a one stop shop now I am lucky if I can walk out with one thing smh get it together acme

I make sure I shop the deals at acme which makes my experience good. They have a solid selection of grocery items and produce.I also use acme as my pharmacy and after every 4 prescriptions, my next grocery trip is 20% off which my wife and I use to our fullest advantage. So instead of spending 400$ between produce junction, shop rite, and acme; we build up a 500% bill at just acme and it costs the same, which is bangin.

As far as grocery stores, it is a little pricey. The fried chicken is excellent, just order ahead so it's fresh, and not drying out under the heat lamps. Also, their baked goods are top notch for a chain grocery store.

I go to Acme preferentially because it’s never busy and the prices are fine. They have what I need and fresh fried chicken is a bonus. One star off because they started locking the exit door by produce as soon as it gets dark. Don’t know why but I assume it’s theft related.

Usually has what I'm looking for. Prices used to be significantly higher than other grocery stores in the area, but now I find myself here more often as other grocery stores have raised their prices more. Some items are now less expensive here than other stores in the area. I also like the app quite a bit as it helps me save quite a bit of money as well.

ACME is synonymous with expensive. I know about inflation, so there's no bearing on why I feel they are expensive. I'm comparing them to their competitor, ShopRite. There's no comparison when it comes to sales and savings, with ShopRite taking the lead. That being said, I have to admit it is a nice environment in which to shop. The aisles are clearly labeled, and spacious. Checking out is a bit of a nightmare, bc they never have enough checkers on duty. The self checkout is not efficient, and is jammed packed with people trying to get out of there quickly, and are just making it the opposite.Rant. Over

This Acme is the nicest and biggest in the area. It is clean and bright with a large array of foods and merchandise. Their produce always seems fresh, and their meats are top notch. The staff that work here are mostly friendly and helpful. Their parking lot actually makes sense and is well maintained. Shopping at this Acme is a pleasant experience!

The self checkout was the only one open I'm assuming because it was around 11:30pm closing time. Anyway the young lady who was working helped me out with extreme patience and knowledge because I sure as heck didn't know what I was doing. I was trying to ring in codes my coupons and other little things. I wanted you to have a good review because I'm sure they're mostly complaints. Somers Point Acme NJ GREAT JOB!!!!

ACME is always very busy. That causes the aisles to get a bit congested, but other than that it is a fine place to grocery shop. The aisles are labeled in large enough print so you can see them easily. Their meat, deli, and bakery sections are usually well stocked. The dairy products are also well stocked, except for the yogurt. They have a decent beauty/ hygiene aisle. Their cold medicines, and pain relief aisle has all the basics you need, including band aids, incontinence products, feminine needs, etc.I would recommend the store to someone. Although, I feel ShopRite, in SP, is the better store for bargains. It also is larger than ACME. Therefore, the store holds more items throughout each aisle.

I travel here because it is by far the best Acme around. The produce is fresh the people are nice and the shelves are always stocked with what you need. I highly recommend this Acme keep up the good work.

They usually have pretty good deals on every day thingsThey could be making more Boston crème doughnuts tho, they're being stingy and holding out on that good stuff in the bakery. They have a lot of bakery itemsI sometime leave feeling a little empty inside, until I get home and I eat my snacks in which then I feel full again.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Shelves were fully stocked in all departments. Only drawback is prices are a little higher, unless you utilize double coupons.

The pharmacy there and there staff is first class and top notch. From what I have observed they get some really difficult customers from time to time and I really admire how professional they ALL remain during those times. As for me they have always been so kind and helpful when I call and talk to someone as well as for when I patronage their store... Can't thank you enough !! Photo I took outside in the parking lotof the acme lol ..there was a hawk who used to hang out around there ..I havent seen in a while

Acme has always been a great food mart.Been living in Florida for 25 years.... It was a pleasure to use a normal food store here in ocean City NJ this week. Helpful employees that were surprisingly pleasant.Thank you to all there who helped this out of Towner. Jeff sw.Fl.

I was looking for citric acid. I wasn't sure if a supermarket would carry this product, but I figured I would try since I was already in the area. I asked a couple of employees and they didn't know what it was. I saw another employee (I'm sorry that I forgot your name. blond hair female afternoon) was either restocking shelves or getting items for pickup decided to take it upon herself to help me find it. We went through the shelves and aisles a few times trying to see if they had it. They ended up not having it, but I really appreciated an employee going completely out of her way to help me find it. Some other employees were quick to just dismiss it and I can understand. That is what I expected since I wasn't sure if Acme would even stock this product. Whoever you were, thank you very much for trying to help me find citric acid.

Really went down hill no employees. They let shoplifters just walk out. no concern for their employees safety. I hope the Kroger merger never goes though. You think they are expensive now just wait.
