This has been our go to Shoprite for years. Today it was really off. The store didn't close for another hour and a half. The deli guy acted like it was too much trouble to slice my stuff, and the check out guy seemed like he was giving us the silent treatment. We were pleasant and friendly. Every one was having a bad day? Please put some adults on the late day shift.

This is my go to grocery. It is clean, well lit, easy to navigate, the employees are always friendly and it feels alive. I never have problems getting what I need and they have a pretty decent overall selection of items. Nice selection of organic products, of healthier products like veggie alternatives (meat free products). They need to be a little more environmental friendly and stop pulling those paid stickers on items while going through the check out line. Also they shouldn’t be as free with the plastic bags. They will double bag the dumbest stuff

I went to Shoprite at the Sewell, NJ location, looking for roast pork sandwiches which they usually have a person standing at a table and slicing the meat. However, according to management they were short staffed and unable to provide the service. To that end, I went to the hot bar and ordered 1 lb of roast pork. it appeared as though a member of management ask if I need help and began weighing the roast pork. It weighed out to be 1.44 lbs, to which I ok'd unknowing it was $11.99 per pound as there was no signage to that affect. So, I bought some rolls and provolone cheese and left the store happy as I aways enjoyed their roast pork sandwiches. When I get home and start my own task of making the sandwiches, I noticed a large clump of fat in the meat, to which I understand it's not super lean, however this clump must have weighed about .75 lb or half of the weight. As I called and talked to a manger to complain, his remedy was to go and check the pan for any more large deposits of fat, NOT come back and we will make it right and that's it! I will no longer shop there, a customer for more that 30 years even before the current location. It's ACME for me, from now on! Keep up the poor quality of work, because the customer is NOT he focus.

I normally shop at the Glassboro Shoprite but over the past few months, I got tired of being overcharged for items and continued poor service so I decided to shop at the Washington Township location and my order was perfect! It was delivered on time, the driver kept me apprised of the delivery and I was charged correctly for all of my items. Beware of the Glassboro location and check your receipts.

After 22 years in WT, today is my independence from this store. I have routinely spent almost $1,00000 a month of the years. Never truly happy, but dealt with it as ACME is not any better.If you are going to open more self serve and fewer humans, why is the savings of no payroll on cashiers, not passed on to the customer. If your prices are going to be more expensive then Zallues in Glassboro, the very least you can do is have working scanning guns for heavier items, but no, most are broken. As well you can insist your monitor oflver the self serves can assist us with these items. They stand there with a lost look on their face. Not there fault if there not trained. If you had a modicum of respect for your customers you would teach your staff how to provide customer service.I will gladly go out of my way to spend my hard earned money at a competitor that cares about their clients. Obviously, you feel no need. Be careful of who you step on when climbing the ladder, they may catch up and surpass you.Hello, Zallies, and Aldi, happy to shop with you.

One of the nicest Shoprites in the area. The staff is friendly and helpful. The checkout is very fast. The prices are good and even better with a Shoprite card. Also check out their wonderful cheese bar. The cheese bar has many delicious cheeses you have never seen before.

Normally I write positive reviews but Ive had enough of this shoprite. They are always out of products, last summer a lot of the veggies were bad, Im tired of some of the employees having bad attitudes, and when you work in the deli, don't ignore customers standing there for over 15 min while you talk to your co-workers about your personal life. The only positive of this store is the pharmacy...(they are wonderful).

I really love the new self check out lanes. The store is so clean and I love the layout. This is my favorite Shoprite location. The staff are polite and consistently willing to help.

I used to love this store but today one of the front end employees put his hand in and looked inside my personal bag. He could have simply asked me to look and I would have been more than happy to show him. Once he seen that the one item I scanned was in there alone he just walked away without saying anything! He walked up way too close to me and I had my small child in my hand ( on the side he walked up on) Very disturbing! I won’t be shopping here anymore.

The self check out workers in Sewell NJ were incredibly rude. We found out from a fellow customer half way through are purchase that was very stressful do to the new weight that is put in the bagging area. The system wasn’t allowing me to scan two items it would say I removed it or didn’t put it in the bagging area and at first I tried being responsible with the self checkout employee but they were being like “I don’t know I guess you should just keep scanning” then after a while I got fed up because the employee still was unable to help me with this issue so I went to the service desk and the employee up there went to check it out and being in the service part of the store you should know what your doing. But clearly not so just wanted to say I really surprised these people would work here.

This is a nice little supermarket. It has everything I'm looking for. Their produce is fresh. They even carry some international food. They have wine and spirits department. For a tiny supermarket, it is well stocked. It's not usually over crowded. The price on most of their items is fair. They also have house plants

Our ShopRite is in need of a face lift and expansion. I have yet to determine how the new space will be utilize, maybe a sushi bar and more. It does stock basics however there is room for improvement to compete with Whole Foods, Wegman's, ACME.. Slightly off subject, but this is the first time I've seen anybody doing anything and it's raining 🤔

Continuously out of staple items. Rude staff at checkout. Deli staff is nearly obsolete. Seafood department smells like a dolphin died there. High prices, broken deli doors, filthy restroom. The closing announcement starts before 8pm when the store closes at 9. Many items out if date or expire in the same day you are shopping. Dairy shelves push cartons of milk and OJ to the front, where they are squished and spill like Niagra Falls. They even have signs telling customers not the touch the produce. Update: Girl with serial killer eyebrows working the front needs to be retrained or replaced. I think she was accusing me of theft when I clearly had 2 separate orders. Maybe if they hired cashiers they could keep an eye on loss prevention? NO LIGHTS IN THE PARKING LOT FOR A MONTH.

Market is clean and easy to quickly navigate. It would be great if they would replenish their organic produce- sometimes it’s really old and still available for sale. Also, the Ripple non dairy milk should be moved to the healthy non dairy cooler.

There was mold on the yellow onions as well as flies around the vegetables. When we went to get horizon milk there was no stock and a sign that blamed it on the government. If I wanted politics I would watch the news.

I had hopes for the store, but after going here for the last couple of months it's disappointing. A lot of items are out of stock. I just bought baby back ribs that expired lhe next day. That is partly my fault for not checking but I wouldn't have assumed they wouldn't have a markdown on meat that expired the next day. Regardless, the fact that this store seems to be out of stock of a lot of items just makes it disappointing and poorly run. That they had meat that expired the next day with the regular stock was the last straw.

I really like the hot foods section where you can grab something to eat. I come here when I'm in the area. It's clean and has a lot of options. When I was checking out yesterday the cashier and another employee were on their cell phones instead of checking me out. I was struggling to bag struggling everything and they just kind of ignored me. But other than that, it was good.

I have shopped here for years and the stor is generally well run. However, today was a joke as far as the front of store employees. Everyone seems to have just stepped out of school and the customers seem to be interfering with their socializing on their phones and with other other employees... no help from anyone and i had to wait severaltimes for the employees to finish their conversation or text before addressingme when they clearly saw thatIwaswaiting for them to address me. Horribleexperience.... i guess this is the new customerserviceat this store......

Make sure you check your deli order or anything you buy from the presliced deli section at this Shoprite. For the 4th time now, I’ve brought home what I thought was Land oLakes American only to find out it’s some cheap garbage they keep trying to pass off to you.At this point, being that it’s now the 4th time I bought LOLs labeled cheese with shoprite cheese in it, it’s clearly on purpose and them just trying to rip you off. You’re paying for $8/lb for $5 plastic cheese. Wouldn’t be surprised if mgmt in the deli is doing this with anything else.I’m officially done with this place. I rather drive 15 minutes further to not be ripped off every single time.

I enjoy shopping here and at Mullica Hill ShopRite. Clearly, much better customer service and cleaner than Glassboro ShopRite. Shelves are always stocked and I like their Boar’s Head selections.

Very nice ShopRite with a great selection of meats, produce, and specialty foods (organic, gluten free, etc.). I personally enjoy all of the specialty cheeses and deli options. The numerous self-check outs are great, though I wish they were a little more spread out. Maybe they'll consider that if they do a remodel in the future.

I’ve always enjoyed shopping here, until today. I was approached by you’re wanna be “cop” in the parking lot and accused of stealing a bottle of detergent that I forgot was under my cart. $10 bottle, after i just spent $150. I was escorted to his office where he told me I could pay for it. Apparently this was not the intention. I was lectured by this man who is at least 30 years younger than me with two black eyes, on where to place my groceries in the future so that the bottle can fit in the top of the cart. Then I was escorted once again to the courtesy counter to pay for this bottle of detergent we’re all the employees were looking at me like I was some criminal while this wanna be cop stood next to me. I am outraged and embarrassed. Shame on you ShopRite. Maybe you should train your cashiers to ask the customers if there is anything under the cart that needs to be paid for.instead of trying to trap them. I completely understand that theft is an issue, however this was certainly not to case.
