We took our dogs, Max and Tate for their shots through their clinic and had no problems. Everything went smoothly. Also, I have had my dogs groomed there. They do a good job! The bandana was a cute touch!

Just had an amazing experience at PetCo. Jackson and I had a rough morning at the vet. It was discovered that he has cancer, and unsure as yet how extensive. I brought him to PetCo after the vet to pick out a toy, and there was nothing that interested him. Too distracted by all the dog and pet sniffs to be had, and hasn’t really had much of his usual “puppy energy” lately (probably due to the cancer). I was cashing out a small biscuit and mentioned that I had wanted to get him something to make the day a little better. The cashier pointed out a flyer from Blue Buffalo that helps pay for canine cancer treatments, then suggested that I talk to his manager. The store manager was very nice and took the time out of her busyness to talk with me, spend time with Jackson, give us some ideas on treatment, and something to keep him active/engaged.This journey might not end the way we want it to, but thanks to PetCo the first day of the journey is a lot better than it could have been.

this location has improved a lot over the last year. they made changes in staff and now everyone is friendly, positive, and upbeat for the most part. grooming is reliable for nail trims but you need to book ahead or they might turn you away because they are usually busy.

I am honestly disappointed in their grooming services. I have taken my cat there a few times before with no issues. But the groomer Sarah returned my cat to me and let me know she couldn’t finish the service due to his “behavior”. If you have a cat, I’m sure you know there are few cats on this earth that are ok with letting you cut their nails or touch their paws. I let it go, gave her a generous cash tip and left. Once I got home I noticed 3 of his plastic nail caps had already fallen off. Due to the fact that I already paid for a full service that she didn’t finish, I called and she continued to make me feel bad about the fact that my cat wasn’t happy about the service and basically told me not to bring him back because of it. I don’t feel as though he acting more erratic than any normal cat. They aren’t dogs. They usually hate grooming services. If your staff isn’t trained to handle a cat and their behavior during such a service then DONT OFFER IT. And it certainly not the pet owners fault. I am more upset that she made it seem like it was my fault

Cashier was super nice!Manager however was very rude and condescending. I had a price match for an item and explained that I had one for petco to the cashier and I didnt know if petco also price matched chewy and if they did it was a bit cheaper on there but if not, not to worry. Cashier had to call management over to do price adjustment on items, and she was just very rude to me about the price match and I was explaining how i didnt mind that it wasnt the chewy one and that the petco one was just fine. She stated “well we dont take chewy” in an snappish tone to me when I had already been told the first time by her and was okay with doing the petco one and that it wasnt a problem. Just kept being very aggressive during the whole interaction and acted like I was causing a problem over a price match.

This location is great! I brought my dog in for the Vetco vaccine clinic and it was a great experience. The vet staff were so friendly and they are very good with the animals! The prices were great too! I saved so much money by getting the vaccine, heartworm test and heartworm preventative for my pup through Vetco!

Experience at the store was fine.However, the toys I purchased for my canine are of terrible quality and 2 out of 3 of them ripped within an hour of light use. After spending that kind of money on supposed high quality products I am very disappointed.

I had another disappointing experience at Petco in Turnersville. Despite discussing my preferences for my Goldendoodle's grooming, they once again failed to cut his hair as requested. Despite taking responsibility for some matting under my dog's mouth, I was assured by Bri that we could still achieve the rounded Golden Doodle look I wanted. However, upon picking up my dog, his face was completely shaved like a poodle's, despite our prior discussion. When I brought this up, the groomer was dismissive and annoyed. After the disappointing grooming experience, I visited the Petco website to review their full-service options, as my dog's nails didn't appear to be trimmed either. However, I was surprised to find that I couldn't book a future appointment, presumably because I had voiced my dissatisfaction with the service. This lack of transparency and accountability only adds to my frustration with Petco's grooming services.

Petco seriously needs to be better at interviewing. The store manager Jolene does not know how to do anything . I had trouble with a transaction yesterday and she basically left the cashier to figure it out by herself when she asked for help . She was more worried about chit chatting on the clock than helping a customer . She was also very rude and made me feel like I was at fault for the problem with THEIR register .

I just walked in here with my family to buy a dog bed and it has the most awful stench all throughout the store. You can barely even breathe in there. We wanted to buy the dog bed and get out of there but fortunately there were no clerks around to help us reach on the top shelf. That gave me enough time to realize the beds probably smelled like the store and sure enough they did. I would not come to this Petco for any reason.

The gentleman (light red head w earlobe rings) at the Turnersville Perco helped me get fish that would be correct for our large fish tank. He was professional, knowledgeable, and humourous. I will always look for him for future choices. We plan to get more fish soon. He's truly an asset to Petco.Keep up the great job.👍🏼👍🏼🐠🐠

So I took my 22 lb Yorkshire terrier mix there this past Saturday. We had a 2 PM appointment. They called and asked if I could bring her in early. So I brought her in at 12:30. They called me at 4 to tell me she was done. Why did I bring her in early then? By looking at her you wouldn’t even be able to tell she was there for 3 1/2 hours. Her hair looks so choppy. She smells the same as she did before being groomed. They didn’t even trim her nails that much. The only reason I’m giving them two stars is that the girls who work there were very nice. But lesson learned… I will never take my dog back there. Why did Halo House have to close!!!!! Ughh

We came in today with a very excited eight-year-old to get her hamster that’s she had been begging for all year, Previously at a completely different store, we had a bad experience and walked into Petco Right after a little bit upset, Amber took care of us and went above, and beyond to make this extremely special special for my daughter, she went over care for our new hammy, she was extremely knowledgeable, and also extremely good with kids, we could not have had a better experience, and we will absolutely be back for anything we may need!

My first visit to Petco I was in need of something to use on my dog who was sprayed by a skunk the staff showed me what they had to offer and the product helped however only time truly takes away the smell of a skunk. My second visit the same week I was looking for a harness for my dog the small was too small medium and large also did not fit I talked with a staff member and she listened to me and my situation she was very kind and she directed me and helped me pick out a different type A of harness that my dog does not mind wearing however the quality part of the product lasted for 2 weeks and it broke I will be returning it and getting the same product it may have just been a malfunction in production.

Very nice associate helped me in the store to get litter that was out in shelf. While shopping seen this little guy, soon to be a big guy; it was very well taken care. I still do not advise anyone purchasing unless they do their research..speaking from past experience!

Came in to do a return and rather than the guy at the cashier ask me how can he help me, he commenced into checking me out with the same item I was doing a return for. I looked at the guy he, What the hell is he doing. Until he saw the look in my eyes and realized I was doing a return not a repurchase 🙄🤪Ask before you assume next time!
