Hands down one of the BEST PetSmart locations! Thank you to Ashley for being so nice and helpful to me and my family. We got two new pets. One female Guinea Pig and one male Zebra Finch. Both costed $50, so it was a bit pricy. Other than that, no issues. Highly recommended!

Had a very bad experience for our training class. We signed up for the beginner dog training class. It was 6 total sessions. One each week for one hour.The trainer spent the whole time reading out of a book. She also didn’t allow any off leash supervised playtime. There was nearly no actual training done in class. She had us practice loose leash walking in the aisle and never even came by to check the dogs were doing things correct. On the second week our trainer was 15 mins late and still ended class 15 minutes early. We essentially paid full price for a 30 minute classTo the stores credit the manager did refund us the price of the class. That is why I put 3 stars. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for training. If you do use this store for training try to avoid the trainer “Dez”

Brittany was exceptional - kind, professional, thorough, and went above and beyond. Too many beach trips had left us with mats I couldn’t manage at home. She wasn’t judgmental and listened to my concerns, went over the options and then worked HARD. At the end of a very long groom, she wasn’t rushing us and took time to make sure I was happy.

The experience i had my first time here was very unfortunate. I have taken my dog to many PetSmart hotels and have never had an issue but the moment i pointed out he is a little anxious when he gets to new places AND mentioned it in the paper work not even 10 mins after dropping him off they were calling me to pick him up.. didn’t even try to give him a treat or calm him down and as I walked in three employees were talking about another dog and the manager proceeded to say “just call the owner to pick them up” as if it’s the only option when dealing with any other type of dog except happy. I wouldn’t recommend this place if your dog may be anxious or a little scared when going to new places or even if your dog may act up because I’m certain they will call you to pick them up.. very unfortunate

Please do not order anything from Uber eats or DoorDash with Petsmart. Not once, but twice the order was wrong. The first time, the food came expired and the wrong pet food mat was chosen by the shopper. I noticed the food was expired right away, and that was resolved through DoorDash. However, for the pet food mat, I chose a pattern that matched my cat’s food bowls, but a completely different mat was chosen (color and pattern). I called petsmart to see what can be done. They basically said, “You would have to come to the store to return it.” I told them I couldn’t, and they said,” Well, you have a mat, so there’s no real solution to getting you your money back”. I ended up throwing it away and bought something from Amazon that matched my decor perfectly. The second time, I placed a same day delivery with Uber eats for my cat’s food. On about day 4 after placing the order, I opened the container and noticed MOLD. Turns out it was 8 months past the expiration date!! I immediately threw it away and checked all the other containers. ALL EXPIRED. I don’t even know if what I fed my cat days 1-3 were ok. I contemplated taking my cat to the hospital, but thankfully she never showed signs of illness. I contacted Uber eats. No returns on anything past 48 hours. I contacted Petsmart customer service through the website. They cannot look up the order number since it was not directly through them. I finally call Petsmart Secaucus. They under no circumstances cannot do a return unless you go into the store. I live about 25 minutes away, do not have a car, and would be spending money on an Uber to get to the store to get my money back. I explained this, but there was NO solution. Long story short, do not order from this Petsmart or use DoorDash or Uber eats. Not only does the food constantly come expired, but the convenience of same day delivery is not there if you have to constantly call because the order is wrong. Now due to the wrong food mat and expired food that I can’t seem to get a refund on since I can’t get to the store (and since Uber has dropped all responsibility), I am out $50.

The pet salon truly does such an amazing job ! They go out of their way to make sure that your furry companions are not only groomed but pampered. I did go on a weekend so there was a lot of foot traffic so honestly would have loved to see more cashiers aside from the 1 that was spearheading the entire line … aside from that store was stocked and had all essentials

Always a fun trip checking out all the goodies or finding all you need for your dog. Love checking out all the living pets and figuring out how get 1 or more. The friendly staff is always fast to help out and make good recommendations.

Amazing, left my dog here twice in the dog hotel. First time a six day trip to Jamaica and the second a three day trip to Baltimore. Shadow (my pup) loves this place. I fully recommend if you need a dog hotel, PetSmart meadowlands hotel is the way to go!

This is the second time that I'm having an issue with Petsmart. I always have an extremely long weight time when it comes to picking up my pet. Last time I brought her here for grooming it took about 6 hours before I was able to pick her up.I called two different times today, both after the 4 hour window that she was given, and no one picked up the phone both times. I called the general petsmart line for secaucus and the lady who picked up the phone was very rude and transferred me back to the grooming salon in the middle of my sentence inquiring about my pet. It's now been 5 hours since I've gotten an update or anything on my pet and her grooming style wasn't a difficult style chosen...

Delia was amazing! We left our dog at the PetSmart hotel for the weekend, and he loved it! He fell in love with Delia, who was sweet, and professional. She was very thorough explaining everything, even while taking care of other customers, she did not rush with anyone, and was an absolute delight. Thank you for taking care of our furry child!

The store is clean, usually very well stocked, and the staff is incredibly friendly. There is a Banfield pet hospital, as well as pet hotel for short or long stays.My only gripe is that I shop here at LEAST twice a month, and at every single visit there has only ever been ONE cashier and the check out process can take longer than anticipated.Plenty of parking but be careful in the lot as people aren’t the best at checking/double checking before they pull out of a spot, and lots of pedestrians as there are other stores in the immediate area.

Let start from the beginning. At the time we left our pet at the hotel we brought with him his dry food and some toys. I asked if I can buy some treats for him and they say yes. A total 3 different treats. Everyday we received a picture of my pet, we were thankful for it. But the day we picked him up I noticed my pre lose a few pounds and he was kind of sad, I thought it was he miss us. Before I left we asked about the treats we bought for him and 2 times they told us he ate everything which I didn’t believe. Well after we went home and talk about it we decided to go back and ask again, for our they give us back all the treats and things he didn’t finished. The second day after we picked him up the sickness started to showing up, low energy, diarrhea, no appetite… we were scared that he illness become more serious. was after a few days that we started seen him more active and healthy. I won’t recommend this place to anybody.

This is just for the fish section of this store because that's what I only care about. The fish section of this store is the worst of all the PetSmart stores I've visited. There are always some dead fish in the tank. The collection is poor. You can not find half of the fish that on the labels. The staff who works there always looks like that they don't want your business. So if you want to buy some fish, go to some place else.

Stephanie groomed my cat. (Jazmine) first time I have ever been to this PetSmart and Stephanie was amazing!! We had a bad morning getting to PetSmart and Jazmine had a little accident in her carry bag. (She peed) and we were late for our appointment. But Stephanie was so understanding. Took Jazmine and the bag, cleaned the bag for me, took very good care of Ms.Jazmine. and even gave us two towels to go home with because the bag was still wet. I highly recommend this PetSmart if you have an animal you need to get groomed especially a cat. Stephanie gets 1000 stars from me And Jazmine. Thank you for everything today!! 🙃🙃

First off, let me begin by saying PetSmart may be one of the best Pet Store Chains in the country! I love everything about PetSmart. Adrian, one of the groomers, is absolutely amazing when it comes to pet grooming and customer service. He has groomed my puppy Marley multiple times and each time she comes back to me as happy as can be & looks beautiful and is pampered which I love. They pay extra close attention to the details and that's what matters most to me. They make you & your pet feel special and always ask exactly what you want when getting your pet groomed. You can't ask for more than that. And to top it off, no matter how busy they are, they always maintain a smile on their faces even though they may be having a rough day. PetSmart deserves 5⭐'s all day and it's not even a question. Whoever is in charge at this location in Secaucus and also the one in Teterboro needs to give Adrian a raise because he is remarkable at what he does. He is fantastic with all dogs and does a splendid job grooming my baby! I'll make sure to add before and after pictures of Marley to show you why this is where you need to bring your pet. Whether you need grooming, medical attention, or if you need any accessories for your pet, they employ the finest employees to tend to all your pet needs and have the best products at great pricing. This was my first time using Petsmart grooming. And I was pleasantly surprised, I got an immediate appointment. The groomer Christine understood my requests and was very professional. My golden-doodle Judah arrived home looking like a show dog. Christine did a terrific job! And didn’t mistreat or mishandle my dog in the process. (Yes, I stayed & peeked) Very happy with their service and will definitely return!

My puppy stayed at the Secaucus location for 5 days. He was completely healthy before dropping him off at the location. When I went to pick up my puppy, I noticed a slight choking sound. My partner and I did not think anything of it. By Saturday, my puppy was making a choking suffocating sound and I immediately contacted the Assistant Manager at the location. I asked him if there were any cases of kennel cough or any sick dogs in the space and I was informed that there weren't any cases and that all dogs were healthy. On Sunday, I almost couldn't sleep because it had gotten worse and was so afraid that my puppy's condition may have escalated. I took him to the vet, and he was diagnosed with Canine Respiratory Disease Complex and a fever of 103.7F. I immediately panicked because if I would have waited another day, my puppy would have been at a 24 hour emergency facility. I contacted the PetHotel, was told by the Manager that there was nothing they can do to prevent this from happening. I just hope that they can do a better job at cleaning this place up because there must be a ton of germs and bacteria laying around. I am not sure if the cleaning solutions they use are enough to disinfect the place. This ended up being expensive because not only did I had to pay my pet hotel bill, but I also had to pay a vet bill. My puppy looks like he is recovering but he is only on his first day of recovery taking 3 different forms of medications. Hoping my puppy feels better by the end of this week.

This is my go to store for my fur babies needs .. I just got a puppy so I've been a bit scatterbrained and all over the place.... I had placed 2 ordered for pickup unfortunately I placed my orders at separate times so one was ready and the other was still in the process... and I also had to scoop up some crickets for my roommates bearded dragon ... Was able to do both at the checkout counter.. Friendly , polite and efficient!! Ace loves his new stuffy! Thank you guys 💙

First time here and last time. Thought of bringing our pets here. Will never do that. Associates at cashier are not professional, agressive and impolite. Lost our business. Cannot rate zero star unfortunately. Bad employees making bad image and making business loose clients. Cashier with headphones and busy on the phone had a bad attitude. Never said thank you for shopping with the store. A look away and dissing attitude. A customer should be thanked for buying at your store. Total disappointment to come here. I’ll never come back here again.

I commend Adrian T for all his help today with the grooming of my cats. I am a first-time cat owner, and I have two cats one is 7 months, and the other one is 9 months, and this was my first time booking a grooming appointment at the Secaucus store in NJ. My appointment was for 8 am, and as soon as I walked into the grooming salon, Adrian greeted us immediately and started the check-in process. He was very friendly and knowledgeable he explained everything about the grooming process, and I was so grateful he was patient and took his time to make sure I understood everything that would happen with my cats. He was super gentle with my cats and told me he would call me when its time to pick them up. Adrian called me to update me that my female cat was not happy, and he didn't want to force her or hurt her, so after speaking with him, we both decided not to groom her, but he was able to groom my male cat, and he came back to me so happy and so soft. Adrian did a great job and was very patient and welcoming. The store was very busy today, and he still gave excellent customer service! Thanks to him, I will definitely return with my cats for grooming service. Thank you, Adrian, for making this experience a great one!

Really nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. Clean inside and out and the young lady who clips my cat's nails is absolutely wonderful. My cat Friday can be a handful but she does an amazingly nice and quick job with him. She's definitely 5 stars .
