If you’re ever in the Sea Isle City area of the Jersey Shore this place is a must. The food was very good. The service was very good and the views are awesome. We came before sunset and we’re able to witness the beauty of the sun going down slowly as we ate. We sat outside (highly recommended). Go early because seating is limited. Don’t know if they take reservations, we just popped in and got lucky.

Awesome for breakfast! Great service and fast! We loved being able to dine outdoors with our dog. The breakfast burrito was delicious! Especially the spicy sausage! The waffle was light and fluffy and the strawberries on top tasted very fresh. We will definitely be back! Fyi, it is cash only.

This was my first time to Sea Isle City. I was staying in Cape May and meeting up with friends who were staying in Ocean City. We chose this restaurant mostly due to being dog friendly. There were 5 of usSitting on the outside deck, next to the bay and the docked boats was wonderful! Definitely the highlight of our visit. Also the staff was very friendly and attentive.The food we got was good but I was very disappointed when told they haven't had whole grain pancakes all season even though it is still on the menu and still listed on the website.This place has a tiny little parking lot and you will wait for a table.Overall, I'd say it was good considering this is a tourist area.

The Italian sausage breakfast grinder was delicious everyone seated was happy with their choices, grilled mahi sandwich blackened grouper sandwich and a veggie caprese sandwich all very tasty!. I'm not a coffee drinker but my brother said they had very good coffee and my dad bragged about his espresso. They offer fried breakfast potatoes and battered fries with there lunch entree both very good. I can not wait to come back, a fantastic BYOB we brought Moscato with us. Great views great service even better food make a really Great time! Cant wait to come back and try server Nicole's suggestion of chocolate banana pancakes..Wow...mouth watering😋

Great place tucked away on the pier at the end of 86th street. My husband and I went for breakfast - we had a wonderful waitress named Joy , who was cheerful and accommodating. The food was fantastic, and the servings were huge. Neither of us were able to finish our meals , the French Toast was great not soggy and the scrapple was cooked perfectly. My husband had the fresh squeezed OJ and said he would go back just for that -10 out of 10 recommend!

Nice setting on the bay in Townsend's Inlet. Good choice of food. The most reasonably priced food in Townsend Inlet section of Sea Isle City. With terrific views.

Very rude about my physical service dog. We wanted to sit on the deck, not inside. Tried to get us to go elsewhere. We finally told him he couldn't kick us out, just wanted food. My dog is silent in a restaurant and very well trained. Food was so-so, we think intentionally. Much to their delight, we won't be back. We go to Rick's now. Great food, very friendly.

Spectacular views and real fresh crab cakes and delicious scallops. Good variety on menu, including vegetarian options.Went with 4 kids and three adults. Server Grace is an experienced pro - attentive, efficient and authentically kind. Kids love strolling the deck (supervised!) and looking at the boats after dinner.

Service was good and view was amazing. Food was absolutely HORRIBLE. There was zero flavor in anything that my party ordered. The stuffed flounder was bland including the crab filling. The chicken was dry. The fried seafood tasted like oil and the fra Diablo sauce was reminiscent of the cardboard pizzas we got at the pool snack bar when we were kids. Best part was the baked potato and that’s only because I piled sour cream on it. Save your money- go somewhere else and then go watch the sundown.

Friendly service, great outdoor view but scrambled eggs were terrible - like the scrapings of the pain were given to me. Kids pancakes were fine but the belgian waffle was overcooked & hard. Cash only also stinks.

Went there for the first time the other day for breakfast. I had the breakfast special which included 2 pancakes, 2 eggs and 2 of your choice of meat. I upgraded my pancakes to blueberry. Everything was excellent. My wife had he same and my daughter had an omelette with fried potatoes. Theirs was excellent as well. The View of the back bay was a bonus. They close at 3PM or else this would be a great sunset spot. We will be going back to try breakfast again or their lunch menu.

Nice settings and pleasant waitress. Not much else good to say about our breakfast. The service was slow and our food was barely warm on arrival. The eggs they use didn't taste fresh or high quality. My fried eggs were cooked okay, but my wife's poached eggs medium came out solid all the way through. The second try yielded medium poached, but the cook then tried to mansplain to my wife the proper way to order eggs. Really?

My husband and I had breakfast here which was very good. The service was good and our waitress did check on us. It was very busy which is a good sign and it was a relaxing atmosphere. We did find that 2.50 for a cup of coffee was pretty steep. We'll be back again..

Hours are incorrect, closed at 1:30pm on Thursdays. Called ahead for reservations and drove almost an hour to figure out that they're closed at 5:30pm even though they said they're open until then. Unhelpful staff and did not even know that it closed at 1:30pm on Thursdays. If the staff don't even know the hours, the bad food reviews must be on to something. Two 1-star reviews were not enough for the lack of respect towards staff and customers. Very unprofessional individual who replied since they lied about the alerts. No online posts or notifications about closure. Staff on the phone said that they were understaffed due to neglect of staff and under payment. If staff needs are such a concern, maybe it should have been their top priority instead of wasting time looking over their Google Reviews.Carmen's Seafood is a much better venue, has more respectful staff and delicious food.

We tried Sunset Pier Restaurant on a whim. Best whim we've had in a long time. The staff was friendly, the food was so delicious and as busy as they were, we were seated pretty quickly. We enjoyed eating outdoors but there was ample seating indoors, too. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal and we can't wait to go back again.
