Even though locals summer is just about to start….I decided to order an “end of the season” feast tonight and it was amazing as always. Many thanks to Mike’s and the friendly staff. They’re so nice every single time even though they deal with hangry tourists. The flounder with crab meat is perfect if you’re in the keto lifestyle of eating! Really great value and portions. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

We just finished takeout from Mike’s. It was our first time in Sea Isle City, and after being on the beach, we were craving some legit seafood. After a few, not great experiences with seafood in the past few weeks, I was leery, but this place changed my mind. Everything we ordered was fresh, hot when it was supposed to be hot, and cold when it was supposed to be cold. And most importantly, it all tasted great. My husband got the lobster roll which was outstanding, I got corn on the cob, which was perfect, and shrimp cocktail, which was awesome. And my daughter got old bay fries with cheese. It’s so nice when you find an authentic seafood place that makes great food and has great service.

Our first time here and we were very impressed. Lots of options and we're already planning our next trip back. Definitely try a combo platter if you want to get a variety of seafood. The fries were also perfectly cooked. The chowder was awesome and the soft shell crab sandwich was very tasty. The mussels were so delicious as was the crab and lobster. Staff was super friendly. Byob wine, beer, and seltzers. We had covered tent seating but make sure you call ahead to see if they're open for dining in. Order at the counter and servers bring you your food. Also comes with bread and butter. We really enjoyed our time here.

The best thing about this place, other than the food, is the vibe. We arrived at 4 just as they were switching between the lunch and dinner menu so they gave us both. The woman who greeted as at the door was very friendly and we chit chatted about the restaurant who's shirt I was wearing. They weren't very busy so she offered us our pick of any seat but recommend one that she liked near the water. The seating is on picnic tables that were very nice, we'll maintained and clean. Food was excellent and priced reasonably. Limited parking but there is public parking about a block away. Overall excellent experience, we'll be back!

Apparently this is THE place to be! Mussels were delicious and the fried seafood was light and airy surprisingly. The staff is super welcoming and friendly and the place oozes family-centric style. BYOB is interesting, not familiar with this as an out of towner. Cool concept though.

Awesome place! We visit Mike’s at least once a year. It runs like a well oiled machine. The staff is very friendly & gets you in the door fast, even on a packed Saturday night with a line.It’s BYOB & they’ll give you buckets of ice for any wine you want chilled. Their seafood is excellent - and we’ve always enjoyed the dishes we’ve gotten!

Since I am not a seafood eater, I will have to defer to my 8 other dining companions who had nothing but praise for the seafood at Mike’s. I was simply along for the ride. The service was friendly and accommodating and the ambiance is authentic Jersey Shore. The seating area is quasi-indoor with seemingly infinite rows of picnic tables for dining. The atmosphere is very casual so leave the fancy clothes at home. Shorts, sandals, and a t-shirt will do just fine.

We ordered a lot of food here - but the only things I would recommend are the white clam chowder, the lobster bisque, and king crab legs. Everything else wasn’t bad - just super SUPER bland. Kind of like eating white rice without anything else. I can’t speak to their fried foods - just their steamed. And from what I can tell, their meals are prepped ahead of time and steamed en masse. Looks like they steam each meal in the same container they give it to you in, so everything is still sitting in water when you open it. I mean, it’s okay: but I would not recommend this place to a friend.

Highly recommend!Visited 6/28 and we were very, very impressed with the service. The staff is very attentive and we felt genuinely welcomed. They seemed to really care about our business and that we enjoyed our visit and our food.The food was excellent. Huge portions and amazing flavor that made it definitely worth the price. We are moving out of the area or we would otherwise definitely be back. Great experience!We started eating a little before the pics - sorry!!

Amazing, excellent! Great food. Great atmosphere. Kid friendly! I'm here at least once everytime I'm in town. Take out food is just as good as eat in! Gotta get the crab balls and if they have it, the lobster Mac and cheese dish!

We ordered the crab leg platter, crab cake sandwich and onion rings.Crab legs were big and had a lot of meat. The texture was good.Crab cake sandwich - was tasty, didn't skimp out on the crab meat, and came with a side of chips.Onion rings - probably the best onion rings I've had. It was big, crispy, didn't fall apart when eating it. Would definitely order this again.Would I come back? Yeah...I would order the onion rings again. A lot of people seemed to have ordered the fried platter, which I would order next time around.Service - was pretty good

Food was great we ordered clam chowder and crab chowder, soft shell crab and mussels with butter and garlic. Loved it.Serving time is ok, not too long, but maybe because it wasn't so full/busy.The toilet is clean. We seated near window where we can see the docks and ships. Lots of family eat here.I can see this place can be very crowded in summer.

A local sea town eatery ! I ordered the U pick shrimp $19 delicious ! The sauce was tasty !! I would come back here. They seat you at a table give you the menu and when your ready, you go order at the register. ( not my favorite service) Lady in front was sooooo sweet ! All of the staff were helpful ! Food came right away. Fingers smelled like shrimp a few hours after hahah but worth it ! Bring sunglasses, open restaurant concept. Right on the water. Super casual. I think it’s BYOB. Bottles of soda available. They give a pitcher of water right away ! Sea Isle City such a vacation sea town.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly - kid menu too.

It was 10 of us here and we all ordered different things - everyone was very happy with their food. The food was good, just like high end sea food restaurant. The place was very clean and staff was friendly. FYI the prices were low (for a sea food restaurant). The location is beautiful right in the water...

First time there and it was as I expected. The Dock has a beer hall vibe to it. This is a BYOB. The seating is all picnic tables, and its on the water. We were seated right away at about 5pm. Had Mike's crab soup and fried flounder with ff's and cole slaw. Service and atmosphere were great. Parking is on the street.

I don't know where to begin, this place has some of the best seafood on the Jersey Shore. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. The food was amazing, the service was great, I can't say enough good things about this place. If you travel to Sea Isle City, be sure to stop in, you will surely not be disappointed.

Landmark establishment. Mike leads a fantastic organization. Wether you want fresh local fish to go, great seafood takeout, or a fun evening on the laid back dock restaurant on the water, you can't go wrong here. My choice is to keep it super local and get the flounder but everybody has their own favorite.Kid-friendliness: Totally cool to take kids of any age. Dining area is very casual.

I came here last night for dinner, and I was pleasantly surprised. I was a bit nervous after my experience with the Mike’s in Ocean City, but the Mike’s in Sea Isle is fantastic. All of the food my party ordered was delicious. Staff was very friendly and attentive. I loved the crab cakes that I ordered. You definitely get your money’s worth of seafood from this location. We had a great time at Mike’s last night and I will definitely be returning!

We had the Shore Feast for Two. It was amazing. There were 2 Lobsters, 12 clams, 12 shrimp, pound of mussels, 2 ears of corn and baby red potatoes. We have to take some home. What a great place with very helpful staff

You pay a bit of a premium for Mike's, but everyone knows it's worth it. My family's been "loyal" "local" customers for at least the last 7 years, but Mike's nailed their menu, recipes and customer service long before that. These days, understandably more strict health and safety guidelines are in place, like mask wearing and appropriate social distancing, but also things like no more coleslaw in order to minimize food handling. I see that as a comfort, however, as it seems they're going "above and beyond" to ensure the safety of their guests. The seafood's still top notch, my wife still nags me about consuming it like a barbarian, and it seems everyone else is just as satisfied eating there now as they were when I first experienced Mike's several years ago.
