Inside Dining is open even during the week! I ordered takeout not knowing. Food was excellent!Had the seafood bisque, creamy and tasty, but no chunks of seafood. Ordered there Veal Fontana which was great! We also had a side of meatballs in sauce which We Loved! Even the bread was delicious! Eating there next time.

Very good Italian food. We loved the bacon wrapped scallops and our entrees. The veal chop was cooked perfectly. The calamari was good but not great and the desserts were okay. Our server was very friendly. I would come back and probably skip dessert.

This is our go-to restaurant when we are staying in Sea isle. We have ordered takeout so many times and it's always delicious and if there's ever a mistake they fix it immediately and are truly invested in making sure their food and restaurant are perfect. We have also dined in, wish there was a bar but appreciate the BYOB option.

Best Italian restaurant at the shore. Authentic and delicious Italian food. The manager or owner was so friendly, kind and accommodating. And, our server, Bobby, was the best! He was so polite and personable and really knew the menu. He made excellent food recommendations and was genuinely appreciative of our tip. The chicken parm was one of the best I've ever had!! Highly recommend

My friends and I visited La Fontana Coast last weekend on our trip to sea isle. We were very excited for our dinner but unfortunately it turned into a nightmare visit. We had an 8pm reservation and were not actually seated until 8:40pm. Once we were finally seated we got our menus which stated “please place your order within 15 minutes”. It took our waiter Angelo 30 minutes to not only greet us but give us water/plates/glasses. The hostess was fantastic and with the busy crowd still made an effort to make sure we had water after our waiter neglected to visit our table. While we were waiting to place our order we were given snarky remarks from Angelo, to smile, calm down, and wait. After finally placing our order and being given our food, we were not visited by Angelo or any other staff and had to repeatedly ask for water which we never received. We made several efforts to speak up about our experience to Angelo but we were not taken seriously and again we were told to wait. He gave other tables who complained free menu items and drinks but for us he didn’t say a word and just gave us our check. Angelo was extremely rude and made every effort to make us feel uncomfortable the whole time we were at dinner. I wouldn’t recommend visiting this restaurant if you are under 26 because they probably won’t take you seriously. Thanks for nothing Angelo!

Food was great, service was great.Atmosphere was just a bit noisy for my liking so I only gave it four stars. But that's because there were a lot of groups there having a good time and enjoying themselves. It's not going to be a quiet dining night out, but we will definitely be back because the food and service were great! Next time we will eat outside. Check it out!!

We decided to make a last minute reservation here and it did not disappoint. Both excellent food and service that went above and beyond! The staff was very welcoming, kind, and anticipated our needs despite the high volume the staff was handling. Everyone in my part raved about their meal. I would be able to give this restaurant a 5 star review if the restrooms were handicap accessible. The restroom itself was spacious however the hallway getting back to the restrooms were crowded and blocked with high chairs, a wheelchair would not able to get through. This is something the restaurant could have a quick fix for if they stored the extra materials elsewhere. Having a handicap accessible bathroom is something that is important to me as an occupational therapist and a person who frequently dines with people in my party who require accessibility features. I hope the restaurant is able fix this so all can enjoy the wonderful restaurant!

It was our first time dining here. The food and the staff were amazing. Angelo gave us the five star treatment. It was our 3rd anniversary and they sang to us along with getting a complimentary desert. We definitely recommend this place. I didn’t give it a 5 star rating because it was very noisy.

We’ve eaten here before and the food and service was so good we ate there twice on our previous vacation. Tonight’s meals were good but not fabulous. Some dishes were flavorful others needed more. The waitress was good but the kitchen was not efficient. We had 8 ppl in our party. The appetizers came out to each of us 5-10 mins apart. Dinner was the same. This was disappointing for a family dinner.

Let me start off by saying I would give this restaurant a zero if possible. Please make note while you read this that all these issues occurred during the OFF SEASON of a beach town. We arrived at our reservation 5 mins early and were seated at 6:30. We sat there for 20 mins waiting to be waited on. No one came even though the tables around us were being assisted. The waitress made eye contact with us but avoided us. Please note that it was a group of 3 of us who are young ladies around 25. Even though we look young we have good paying jobs, all have worked in the service industry, and should not have been ignored. No one came to our table nor did we have water.We waited ten more minutes and then had to go up to the hostess and ask that someone come and wait our table. The hostess was on her phone when we went up to talk to her about the lack of service. A flustered waiter finally came over to us and we finally got water for the first time. We ordered immediately and then our wait began again. We waited another 40 minutes and our waiter nor any other waiter who was working that area came to our table during that time. By this time we are totally out of water. Someone finally noticed that we still had no food and I saw her flag down our waiter to tell him. Our waiter ran back over and told us 10 more minutes for our food and finally refilled our water. Our food finally came out and we were so hungry and excited. Unfortunately, our pastas were undercooked and hard to eat. We picked at them and moved the food around our plates for a little bit and we’re upset that the $25 pasta was unfulfilling. No one came to check in and ask how our meals were or if we needed anything. To make matters worse during our dinner a table was rearranged to accommodate a large party. When the people sat down they blocked us in and basically sat on top of us. At this point we were annoyed and we had to ask the other table to please stand up so we could go talk to someone. The one lady at the table was elderly and could not easily move so they asked us to squeeze past her and our butts had to brush against her head.We again walked up to the hostess to ask to speak to a manager. Again she was on her phone! This place is packed and crazy busy and she’s standing there on her phone. She said the manager was outside waiting tables and he would be right in. Low and behold the gentleman who comes in is our waiter. However, we don’t talk to him because he is telling the hostess that he has to run to another table. So we get to talk to the chef. We explain our situation with the bad service and undercooked pasta. The chef tells us we are wrong because he doesn’t undercook pasta. Taste preferences I understand but do not tell me I am wrong. I was very unhappy with my experience and you are clearly unconcerned. After an unhelpful chat with him we ask the hostess who at this point is kind of moving around the room awkwardly to make herself look busy if we can have the check. There is no point going back to the table because I don’t want to ask the other table to stand up or awkwardly brush my butt on them as I try to squeeze past. As we stood there at the hostess stand waiting for the check I watched another table have to flag down their waiter to ask for the bill so they could leave.I am assuming what happened is they saw that we had been there for an hour with no food and then rushed out order.Overall don’t waste your time coming here or spending $25 on bad pasta. Definitely don’t complain about it or you’ll be told you’re wrong.

We recently had dinner at La Fontana Coast and were blown away by our experience, most notably the food. My wife enjoyed a delicious seafood pasta, which was well seasoned and delicious. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara, which was outstanding - I find that carbonara can be hit-or-miss at many restaurants, and here it was arguably the best I've ever had.Beyond the food, the staff was attentive and considerate. We sat outside on a clear but somewhat chilly summer night. The restaurant keeps embroidered blankets on hand for patrons to use if they get chilly, which was an additional nice touch.This is a BYOB restaurant, and fortunately there is a liquor and wine store right down the road. Would highly recommend making a reservation if trying to visit during peak summer season.
