Great place to get food. Nice and amazing staff.However when you order from them on delivery. They give you almost nothing you ordered and replace it with other items. Also the stock is almost empty of anything. Like c'mon your supposed to be a dollar general. Even the one in pennsville is better. Please manager fix the stock issueOtherwise a great store to shop at

Staff is usually pretty nice, the store's not dirty but it's not necessarily the cleanest store I've been in. The aisles can sometimes be cluttered with stock. Prices seem about normal for any Dollar general. But all in all it's pretty decent, grab something quick and be out pretty fast. My time in the store is usually about 5-10min depending on what I need.

Love the friendly greetings. Checkout lines are almost always very quick. Very convenient from my home for last minute items and quick shopping trips. Love having the store close to my house, since I live in the country. The store is also very clean and the aisles are tidy. Shopping there is so easy!

I went into my first Dollar General about this time last year and found out rather quickly that although I thought they were a store that would sell any item in the floor for $1.00 or less that they do have several prices for a lot more than $1.00. You might be thinking that's not a good thing but fact of the matter is that it is a good thing since they will not have to stick with a bunch of worthless junk in the store and can carry a better selection of products. With there being no regular grocery stores in Salem now the Dollar General has helped to make purchases of some things although not alleviating the draught of food supply to the area. Unfortunately though because of that the last couple times I have noticed an almost full parking lot and lots of kids running around the store. I will still go as the checkout line moves quickly but I am also only stopping in to grab a couple things they carry that I haven't seen elsewhere.

I like the Customer Service and how the store looks. For this town it is a great place to get everything you need. Its a miniature grocery store. If there is something you cant find, the associate will be happy to assist you!

Never have stock. Empty shelves and dangerous aisles blocked with unpacked inventory crates, cannisters, etc..No room for carts to fit down rows to shop. Customer service is unwelcoming, non helpful and obvious dislike their jobs.

I liked it better near bank it had stuff outside before walking in and was brighter inside store new one just not as easy access it's on broad and getting in out hard to do in heavy traffic so dont go as much but the merchandise when available is original and good priced

All of the items on sale was not on the shelves. Sale signs didnt come up, for explain a case of water sale sig said $3.95 but it rang up $5.00 & there was such a long line behind me I could not go back & show the cashier the sign. I also left a dozen eggs in the store, instead of bringing them out to me the cashier just put them back on shelf. When I brought my cart inside & asked was told I didnt leave any bags... so the next day I had to come back & bring my receipt, it was a problem that could have been easily resolved by a worker bringing them to me outside...

Worst company to work for. They don't care about their employees. When you have a problem and try to call corporate the just keep transferring you. Then your told when you quit that you went about it the wrong way. I will tell everyone I meet never shop a a Dollar General it's just a every day money hungry corporation who don't care about their employees.

New management or employees since been in here last and they were VERY friendly and kind. They were funny too kidding around with one another which was enjoyable especially during a pandemic...you need to laugh. Will be back.

This store is loaded with products. Very nice people run it. They had everything I was looking for. They have a big wheel chair ramp outsideThe place is very clean.

Only place in town for people to buy food, no fresh produce or anything healthy since the grocery store closed down. They have an opportunity to make things right but it is a chain company so I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Poor people who work in Salem dollar stores... Salem is a food desert so these stores are not always stocked, the lines are long and the staff is so busy checking people out that they can't help as much as they'd like..

It's a Dollar General. About what one would expect. Most of the coolers are missing handles but otherwise, it's a reasonably well-upkept store.
