I had the best time looking at all the different species of fish and unique color variations within the species. I chose The Fish Hut because I am interested in creating a small natural habitat for my Beta. Their website specifically states that they love to teach people at any level how to properly care for your fish and tank set-up. I was outclassed in every way, but Junior made me feel comfortable asking all of my questions. Especially the questions I deemed too dumb to ask aloud! Junior answered all my questions, was very encouraging, and the health of the fish showed how cared for they are by everyone at The Fish Hut. Thank you for the gorgeous aquatic plants and heater! I can't wait to get a tiny red shrimp next!

absolutely love this place I could've stayed to look at the fish all day. All the fish are well taken care of and they have an amazing selection of freshwater fish (mainly for bigger tank size). They have many types of substrates, rock for scaping, and the plants are well priced. Pete helped us he was very kind and helpful. It's hard to find a good fish store that offers the vibe of Fish hut. This place is a gem totally worth the drive out for me. Definitely coming back for stuff to scape my 36.

This place is filled with fish of all kinds! We have been loyal customers for the past year. We started with an betta and moved up to an 10 gallon tank! Every time we go we are greeted with friendly and very educated staff. I appreciate how helpful everyone is. Thank you to Jon Jr for assisting us.

I have only been here twice and I get the best advice and hospitality while being helped. Dylan was very patient with all the questions I had and recommended helpful items that I didn’t even know existed! (And they worked!!!)Many many of my plants are from here, my favorite is the banana plant and the shrimps love it too!!The Fish hut is now my favorite aquatic store. 🐠🐡

We visited today to buy a rubber lip pleco and ended up getting that + 3 beautiful gouramis. The staff were so helpful and attentive and the store was beautiful. The fish were well cared for and thriving. Eddie helped me today and I was very happy with my visit!

Shopped at the Fish Hut for the first time last week and was blown away. A 90 minute drive for me from the Philadelphia area but we don't have too many decent aquarium shops in my area. Fish were healthy and an enormous selection, especially African Cichlids. Good selection of plecos too. I was helped by Pete and Junior who were very knowledgeable, in fact all the staff were helping customers. Picked up a nice L081 Gold Nugget and an L128 Blue Phantom along with some Tropheus cichlids. Prices were very reasonable too, I'll be back.

I have a 180 Gallon Cichlid tank and have been buying my fish and supplies from Fish Hut for many years. The selection of fish is unmatchable from any other fish store I have seen. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. Choosing another fish store would be like saying I dont want a fish tank any longer.

Looks a little questionable on the outside but the inside proves otherwise. I had the pleasure of having Pete who helped in finding the fish/plants I was in search of.Amazing selection of freshwater fish and plants.Tanks are very clean and didn’t see a single dead fish!Prices were good, had lots of bundle deals, plant prices too were more affordable than similar stores.I would definitely recommend you go and look around, never know what you’re going to find.

This place is a pretty awesome fish store for the hobbyist. Large selection of specialized fish, fish are in good shape, tanks are maintained well. I have been in the hobby for over 30 years and I have seen fish here both times I've stopped by that I've never seen before. Pete was great and will take care of you. He knows his stuff.

The crew at the Fish Hut are amazing! All throughout my decision making process on tank size, fish, equipment, accessories, etc. I was visiting them daily and Pete, Jr, Rice, Chris and Sam were always patient working together providing me with honest advice all the way to the finish line. I am very pleased with my choices and can’t thank them enough for all their help in getting me started on my aquarium. A+ highly recommend!

Went in to do some homework for a 55 gallon I’m setting up. I didn’t buy anything however the customer service was great and not overbearing. The selection and cleanliness of the store shows they care about what they’re selling. Prices were a bit over however acceptable for what they’re selling. They even asked if my dog needed water. Amazing service. I will definitely be returning.

Excellent store. Staff was super courteous and helpful. They have a very well clean store. Every tank is crystal clear. All fish look super healthy and vibrant in colors. Fully stocked on all fish supplies, gravel, driftwood, dragon stone, decor, fish food etc. Pete was very helpful towards my purchase and Fish Hut is going to be my go to spot for all my fish stock and supplies.

So our daughter recommended that we check this place out to buy new fish for our tank and we did!!! Our sales guy Eddie was awesome!!! He helped recommend which fish we should go with and what fish don’t get along. So nice to have someone so knowledgeable to help us! And when we checked out, the guy behind the register, and sorry I didn’t catch his name, was kind enough to give us a styrofoam box to put the bags of fish in so that they got home safely!!!

This will be our fifth time visiting the store. Junior along with Pete never let us down! They are so knowledgeable and helpful it makes your experience so easy going and enjoyable! We always leave with 5 African cichlids or more! We even buy for our community tanks each time we visit as well! We’re over an hour away and still choose Fish Hut every time!

I've been coming here for years to take care of all my aquarium needs. The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable about everything freshwater fish, plants, and accessories. All their livestock is healthy and active, and food selection is top-notch. Whenever I have a question of what's available, they are quick to answer the phone and fill you in on what's available so you don't waste a trip,(though it's always a good trip to the fish hut just to browse around). I highly recommend stopping by not only for the novice fish keeper but the seasoned ones as well

They truly deserve these 5 stars! All of the fish tanks are crystal clear, tanks have no deceased fish in them floating around, great prices for the high quality fish you get, plants look amazing, and they are always doing water changes to maintain the tanks and keep the fish looking great! I don’t regret making the 45min drive to get my fish and you won’t either! I always look for Jon jr he is always the one that helps me and answers all of my questions, has never steered me in the wrong direction when it comes which fish can go together.

Visited The Fish Hut for the first time and got a lot of great info from Peter. Being new to the hobby I had a number of questions and left feeling like I was much better informed. Overall, i had a great experience here and enjoyed perusing the many fish and many tank adornments on sale. Awesome place.

Love this store! Everyone is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. There are half a dozen aquarium shops closer to me but I'll gladly drive the extra distance for a superior experience. Eddie was particularly helpful.

Been to a ton of fish stores from MD, DC, VA and NY. This by far even being 4 hours from me - I was in shock. The variety of African Cichlids, cleanliness, and service by JON JR was absolutely the best fish store I’ve been to so far. They packed up my purchase professionally and not one single issue when I brought them home.We will definitely make the 4 hour drive again soon.

[Wish I'd taken pictures, sorry].We love this place. It's worth the trip out the city.Staff are all very friendly and eager to offer assistance and advice. We're beginners, in the process of populating tanks in our daughter's room, and Pete was able to guide us in terms of matching plants to fish we have at home, as well as how to improve conditions for our Pictus Catfish.They have MANY tanks to look at, and they're all maintained beautifully. We're eager to make stops here whenever we can.

Fish Hut is an awesome place. We came here last year when we thought we were serious to start a tank. Then when we weren't, we returned back yesterday. Both experiences the staff were friendly, very knowledgeable, and helps beginners like us at ease.We had purchased a 10 gallon Fluval brand tank from here. There is a showroom in Fish Hut for customers to check out their different varieties of tanks. There are also plenty of examples around the store too when you browse.Chris was a great help to us. He presented us facts about different live plants we wanted in our tank, answered our questions or comments we had. Any pH testing kits and starting our tanks he double checked with us too if we had it done to be sure all proper procedures was completed. Chris advised us if we ever needed to bring a water sample from our tank if we're ever unsure, they can help us understand it too.As you browse around each aisle, it's amazing to see all the time and work the Fish Hut staff took to write information on the outside tanks in neon markers, each aisle is grouped accordingly, and fun to walk around to see your options.As of now, we are happy with our live plants and blue and orange shrimp. Next will be snails and we'll see where it goes from there. Thank you Fish Hut staff for being terrific.All payment methods are accepted, small parking lot shared with a shopping center (just becareful when you drive in the area).

So happy I found this store! The reviews were stellar and I was wowed by the experience. Lots and lots of fish, felt like 500+ tanks. But what was so great were the guys helping us. So patient and knowledgeable. We worked mostly with Pete who had endless patience for our many questions as we upgraded from a 20 gallon to a 45 gallon. Spent last Saturday and Sunday there and excited about our new set up. Now just need to bring in the old fish and add new ones.
