This review is about how this location is managed and not about the product that I bought. Stopped in here today hoping to find a fantastic but expensive winter coat which was exactly what got. A great North Face Coat that will work for the winter. However, though buying the coat was an absolute mess. The Cash Register area of the store was very understaffed with only three registers opened and a bunch of people on line waiting to buy items. When we got to the register this woman gave us a very rude attitude and said: "sorry most of our staff is on lunch break and we are short staff". Even on Election Day, it does not matter who is what or where if you see a lot of customers online then you need to make sure that your resister area is properly staffed so that those customers can buy the merchandise quickly and get out. Whoever the manager is of this TJMaxx is you need to fix this problem quickly so that you can be prepared for the holiday rush of shoppers. Finally, The hand sanitizer that was given to us at the front of the store smelt like it had gone bad which was interesting considering this store sold a lot of better smelling and good-looking ones. Again I only made a purchase here because the coat is exactly what I was looking for. Would not go back and would recommend instead visiting Marshall's in Garfield, East Rutherford, and Secaucus, or the TJMaxx's in Lyndhurst, Paramus, and Secaucus.

This store has a large selection of men and womens clothing as well as a whole array of jewelry, luggage, footwear, toys and more. Prices are very reasonable. I bought a piece of Calvin Kline luggage at approximately half of what it would be at Macy's. There's not a whole lot of floor help though.

Great and cost saving Marketplace; catering to customers and shoppers from adjoining Communities. They merchandise all kinds of clothing and accessories, household products and other merchandise. It's a lovely place to shop, as shoppers find the products they need there at reasonable cost.

Today I visited this store, I went to the Jewelry Store and I bought three Accessories and three earrings and the total of everything made me 522.60 dollars and when I left I forgot the bag on top of the cart, and I left in my car after a minute I realized that I forgot my buy and call the store and I explain that I forgot my purchase in the cart and they transferred the call to several people and they told me let's see and it took so long for someone to give me an answer that 23 minutes passed and in the end he told me no There is nothing forgotten in the cart, but of course it took so long that it was gone and I told him I'm coming, I want you to check the camera to see if they took it or what happened and he told me no, here we don't check the camera, it's your responsibility and I told him if I agree it is my responsibility, but I just want to know what happened to my purchase if someone took it or someone returned it when they saw it and he told me I have nothing to do for you, and the truth is that this TJmax store is Route 46 made me feel like the most important person, because they didn't even say sorry to me 😞 and since I often go there so much, it was so sad for me 😢

I’m giving this store 5 stars as a customer I see how hard the ladies and men work in this store.I don’t blame the front end for talking or doing their thing because they have COUNTLESS customers all throughout the shift. Some Nasty. Some Wonderful! I love this store for what it is. They work hard and are fantastic. Some people just want attention so badly. Be humble. Be gracious. It’s a store, remember, get in, get out. Simple.

Wasn't really a fan of this location. The one in Paramus is so much better. The jewelry department has like nothing and the smallest selection of earrings I've ever seen at any location, even other states. Seasonal decor selection wasn't good either and not much of it. The line was huge and wrapped around three times. I'd rather wait on a long line in Paramus where they actually have good products for sale. Not coming back here.

Rude staff and messy store. Last time I was here the girl checking me out didn’t even say hello or make eye contact, just continued her convo. This time, two cashiers talked about me, in front of my face, as if I weren’t standing there. They need to stop gossiping and go tidy up the aisles, because this is the worst TJMaxx in the area.

I'm really upset about my last experience in this location. The Indian coordinator (supervisor) there was very very rude and he refused to honor my return with a recipt. He was not following the company's policy and was very aggressive telling not to waste my time! I ended up leaving whithout purchasing the stuff I already had in my cart. Employees like that are really pushing long term customers such as myself. Please take necessary actions because this person is clearly abusing his position. This person is a bad example for the company and he obviously doesn't care about losing customers. I'm really surprised the company is allowing such mean person to work there, let alone be the manager! Don't recommend going to that location.

It has been a while since I shopped at T.J. Maxx. This time I actually liked the clothing they had for children. They had a nice variety to pick from. My husband actually had to make a last minute trip and was able to find exactly what he was looking for. It’s worth a trip to see if you find something you may like or need. They literally have everything.

Great, on Rt 46 the young man at the door last night was the kindest. Young, tall, dark curly hair. I should have gotten is name. I plan to go back, he was not just nice only to me but everyone coming and going. You could hear how he spoke all over the store. He made you feel special coming through the door. He asked if you needed help. Would you like sanitizer for your hands, wiped door the carts. You felt safe. It was a pleasure shopping in that store. Thank you, he will be going places!This was my second experience with him, he never changed and I will approach the manager coming back to your store. Next week.He watches everyone with a smile, he is pleasant, just a happy soul. So yes, I give this young guy a number (10) for being so good with your customers in these time.Thank you. T.J. MAXX. A store similar to Marshals but smaller, a bunch of clothes, perfumes and stuff for women. Prices are not bad at all but a little short when men's stuff speaking. I didn't drive crazy but it's a good option if you are in a a rush for casual clothes. The bad thing is, you can't find an assortment of sizes in anything.

People in the store were nice. Long lines for checkout but it’s been a long time since I’ve ever been to a tj maxx without long lines. A bit less availability on items than the lyndhurst location but I’d go back off in the area.
