If I could give this place more stars, I would! Katarina is always an absolute pleasure! She is very kind, knowledgeable, honest, and overall just a wonderful person to speak to. I tell all my friends and family who are looking for birds to go to her! Not to mention they also have the fairest prices around. The store is always very clean and well kept. What a great experience buying my son his Christmas gift. The place is easy to find and has parking. It's extremely clean and the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend going there to purchase your birds and to buy things for them.

Katarina was an absolute delight to work with! She went above and beyond to find a great price for our yellow naped parrot. Not only did she provide excellent customer service, but she also took the time to share valuable insights on the parrot's dietary needs, including helpful do's and don'ts. While the price may be steep, it's understandable given the rarity of these beautiful birds. We're Happy with our purchase and highly recommend Katarina.

I highly reccommend Birds By Joe 2!! Just look at how sweet this baby is! From his first day home! Katarina hand raises the most friendly birds. You can tell she is a TRUE bird lover. I can't say a bad thing about the owner, the store or the birds. Always a great experience.

I bought my bird here. I love this bird. She is so friendly. She picked me. Afterwards my daughter suspected she had Avain Bornavirus and had her tested. She tested positive. The store owner said if we wanted our money back we could return her. How could we do that after we bonded with her. They made us sign papers that said most bird have virus's but that's not really true. Anyway she's doing fine so far and is very happy despite her positive test. Just be cautious when buying your bird here or anywhere for that matter.

I love this place! I think my biggest gripe with other local bird stores is that they smell. Aren't very clean. (I won't mention names. But I am sure locals know. 🤣) I feel like my allergies act up when I walk inside. This place is such a pleasant surprise! When you walk in, you can see how meticulous everything is kept. The birds look healthy and well cared for. Birds are messy. This store is not. I stop by once a week to get some treats and toys for my conure, and I am constantly tempted to check out some of the parrots to get yet another bird.I believe in supporting local shops as opposed to larger chains. They are always kind when I stop in and seem to care a great deal about their birds. I'll keep going back for all my bird essentials!

Bought a chick here mid pandemic. Owner and staff were generous and kind, and the bird has grown up to be very healthy. The place is as clean as a hospital! I don't know how that's even possible!

Great place to get your birds. The worker was very knowledgeable and helpful when I was deciding on a bird. I was going back and forth between different birds and she was very patient and helpful along the way. Highly recommend this store. Very friendly people and birds.

I'm so happy they opened the second location by me. I always come here for my girl's food and occasionally get everybody some toys. It's always super clean and all the birds are very well taken care of. The lady who runs it is super sweet and knowledgeable. Highly recommend

We love this bird store!! We got our cockatiel last year and he is one of the best additions to our family. He is super healthy and acclimated to all of us quite quickly. We continue to bring him for maintenance (nails & beak trim) regularly. They are always very friendly and we leave our bird for boarding and they care for him like their own. Thank you!

My kids love this place! The lady that cares for the birds, Anastasia I believe, is so nice and very knowledgeable about the birds and how to care for them. If and when we every decide to bring a bird into our family, it will be from Joe's.

So clean and well taken care of store. The owners and workers are so polite and when they board birds they take care of them like they are there own. The birds they sell are very healthy and they stand behind that which is very comforting. Great people and awesome family business definitely stop by to see what they have

They have good customer service, but the will sell the birds way overpriced, I bought two canaries form them the where trying to give to me for 200$ each the final price I took them for was 150$ each without no cage or anything and I ended finding out the another store sells the same type even more beautiful than the ones I have for 75$ sometimes 65$ . Therefore I don’t recommend anyone to go to this store specially if you don’t know what prices are look around before you buy anything from them.

I have been looking at birds shops all over North and South jersey and this bird shop has some of the best SOCIALIZED birds ive come across. Im well aware each bird has its own personality but I do think the staff here does their best to get the creme of the crop in terms of friendliness. We were very happy to take home a green cheek conure that weve named chicken nugget. Day 2 and hes been friendly to everyone in the fam. Very happy with our new friend. 🐦Also the staff is very friendly as well in terms of service. I was so excited to see a Gala cockatoo for the first time i asked them if i could hold it and they happily obliged. 💛

What an absolutely wonderful place! I came to purchase some new items for my sun conures cage, and was so impressed with the selection, the cleanliness, and how well their birds are taken care of! 10/10 recommend coming here!
