One of the worst Acme stores I've ever been to. Moved to the area a few years ago. Acme has always been my favorite place to shop my whole life (49yrs old). This place is absolutely terrible compared to other Acme stores. Prices are 20% higher than any other local store. The people that work there are so ignorant it's not even funny. There is a bunch of straight weirdos in there. At least a DOZEN PEOPLE THAT WORK THERE STILL WEAR MASKS if that tells you what kind of clowns you are dealing with. People that work in the deli are incompetent and ignorant. Just for example a pound of Dietz & Watson turkey breast is $14.99 there and the store right down the street it is $7.99. Acme has always been pretty famous for its Lancaster brand meets and a pretty good selection overall of meat products. Not this place. I would say it has about 1/4 the amount of a meat selection as every other Acme and other supermarkets in the area, and it's about 20% higher in price. I don't think I've ever met one friendly employee there. Seriously! Every single person that works there has a bad attitude.

It was my first time at an Acme. I went specifically for yellow fin tuna. They had multiple flavors, but none in just water. I also decided to buy some broccoli crunch salad. I asked the man behind the counter if the salad had any meat in it since I couldn't tell. He stated it did not, and so I ordered some. I get home, take my first bite, and it tastes like bacon is in there, and I spit it out as I do not eat pork. I picked through the salad, and sure, enough fine pieces of pork bacon was in there. I promptly threw my waste of money away. I am disappointed that people behind the counter serving customers food do not know the ingredients to inform customers.

I love the Runnemede Acme! They always have on the app good coupons and reward points off of your order. The meats and seafood are fresh, and they have fresh bagels daily! The store is clean and the employees are nice. I really find the pricing to be similar to Shoprite, Wal-Mart, Aldi.

I am a frequent customer, so I needed a cake so of course I went to my local bakery. I placed the order a week and half before I needed the cake. The cake was for a shower at a local school. I asked for a pick up time of 7 AM, so they said I could pick it up either the night before or when the bakery opened at 7 am.I was there at about 7:10 as I asked, the baker took cake out and it was not done, half of it was decorated. I asked for a Christmas theme cake as it was for a baby and bridal shower during Christmas season. It was quite an inconvenience that I had to make plans come back during school hours, as it’s hard for me to do, but didn’t complain and said, ok, it happens, I’ll plan to come back. I was VERY pressed on time picking it up so didn’t even have time to look at it, since even though it may have been wrong was what I was gonna get. As I got back to school, noticed 1) there was a misspelling on the cake 2) it was horribly decorated. I asked for Christmas colors and it was red and mint green, the reds didn’t even match and was thrown together with a bow in middle. Picture provided. Will certainly never order a cake from Acme again. I was beyond disappointed

I love the place. It's convenient, they usually have what I'm looking for, the people are friendly, knowledgeable, and will go out of their way to help you if you need.Their prices are a bit expensive, and that's why they get four stars instead of five. But other than the prices, the place is great. Keep up the good work.

Great location with great selection of food from fresh to frozen. Meats, dairy, juices, fruits and vegetables. All items are reasonably priced. And can't forget the staff. Friendly and helpful. Store is well lite and always clean.

Was buying lottery tickets at the customer service, provided wrong tickets, when complained, staff very rude, requested the manager Ryan to review the video recording, never returned his findings on his investigation. Went to the store about two weeks later, completely ignored by customer service staff. Spoke to store manager Ryan today, very argumentative, made false accusations against me I threatened an employee. Why was I not arrested when the police was called. I have the police report, no such accusation was made against me. This store is very discriminatory, Prejudice. Lots of expired products. I do a lot of charitable donations, now I make sure the dates are current. Customer service, most of the staff do not know how to operate the lottery machines, rude and disrespectful and demeaning to customers. Seafood, meat, pharmacy and floral department very helpful when making choices. Extremely over priced. Lately minority employees limited minority customers. Very poor customer service, see poor review on customer service. Not senior friendly!! Never willing to assist when asked. I have been shopping here for over thirty five years for convenience even though I succumb to their prejudices behaviors. it is less than a mile to my home. I mostly shop there for lottery because I can use my bank card which they screw up mostly and would pay for their mistakes and sale merchandise because I donate to different organizations. I shop at other area stores, and supermarkets very friendly, helpful and applaud me for my charitable work. Also i do not take threats in any form lightly, staff should be informed on the magnitude of such.

Went for the Chicken on Monday deal, there was about 10 people in line waiting on said chicken, i kid you not they were " saving" bags of 8 piece chicken for people who were shopping around! We were all infuriated! We were ready to buy what the had, we were told itll be another 15 minute wait meanwhile bags of chicken just sat there that could have been sold! There was nobody but 1 person working incredibly slow might i add, then 2 or 3 people came to help and made it much worse. 35 minute wait for horrible soggy chicken, wont make that mistake again!

I love this location on Evesham Rd in Runnemede. Everyone is very nice and professional. The meat is always good and fresh. The vegetables are very good. This is my go-to store. Keep doing what you are doing and keep the discounts coming. Thank you for being there for me. I went in to get a few items and did not get a cart, but you know how that goes, I had more than I could carry, and one of the sales representatives brought me a basket. Love it 😀.

We placed an order to be delivered between 3 and 7 as of 800pm we still did not receive the order. We called the store and spoke to Jen who claimed she was a supervisor she said no one was in the delivery department and we would need to call back in the morning she was very rude and ended hanging up on us. We are seniors and to not receive the order and it being billed on our credit card is very upsetting. In the future I will no longer shop at acme and will do my shopping at ShopRite at least I know they will delivery my groceries when they promise and we will not have to deal with unprofessional staff

Short guy with the beard in seafood needs a couple lessons in customer service. I wanted my crab legs to be steamed he told me 40 minutes I tried working with him and I asked him how about first thing in the morning he could not give me a straight answer. I thought about it why am I making this a convenient for him I forgot I was the customer. When I did not get any satisfaction out of him I did not bother to go to see a manager. I just left my shopping cart and went to ShopRite .

Normally I have no problem at your store BUT today I left very upset.It’s pouring rain & I pulled up to the ramp to pick up my 86 year old handicap mother.The cart boy (who did have a few carts to push up) told me I HAD to move.I said I’ll be one minute to get my mother in the car. He proceeded to tell me, I’m not allowed to park there!!I got in my car & backed up. He pushed his carts up.I had to pulled back up to load our 1 bag & my mother in the car.He actually had room in front of my car, as I didn’t block the whole ramp area.I really believe this kid needs to be talked to by management.I asked him his name & he wouldn’t give it to me.This happened Sunday afternoon 7-15 around 1:30.I will be back, I will continue to drop & pickup my mother at the ramp. There isn’t a designated area for handicap other than there.Please let this very rude young man know he needs to be more considerate to elderly people.By the way, I got soaked do to the having to get in & out with my umbrella.Very disrespectfulSusan Dudo

I placed an order for chicken and when my husband went to pick up it wasn’t started. The manager went out of her way to deliver it to my house free of charge to make up for it. She went above and beyond and we really appreciated it. I’m not 100% positive but believe her name was Ms Brown. She deserves praise and acknowledgment.

I've been going to this location since my childhood. Even though there are supermarkets closer, I've remained loyal to my acme. Over 40 years my family and I have shopped there. But now I am being made to feel unwelcome. A cashier named Dana actually goes out of her way and puts in a lot of effort to make me feel unwelcome. Today I waited at the deli over 20 minutes to get service. They weren't busy, I was the only customer there. They ignored me because they thought it was funny. Time for my family and I to find another supermarket. One that appreciates their customers

I actually went to the bank in there. The service was great!! The one Acme person that I dealt with whom I asked a question was absolutely great!!! When I have to go back there, I will definitely do a little shopping and check out the store.

We don't live far from the Acme So we are always in there anyway But we get our prescriptions from there as well. Mike the head pharmacist As well as the other tects That work there are very very nice. Mike helps you out anyway he can. They Are very friendly. Then you can shop while you wait for your RX. The checkers are all very friendly and and help youAs best as they can. The store is Usually Stocked well and you can find what you're looking for.It is a good place to shop

Very clean, organized store. Found good sale prices on various items. Loved their bags if ice! Very friendly and helpful associates during check out at register. Both my cashier and my bagger were very socialable, efficient, offered me some helpful advice on savings.

Was shopping last night and went to the deli at 7:05 pm. The deli clerk told me the deli closes at 7. Asked again and he told me they clean from 7 till 8 . I am really upset that after spending 160.00 weekly i now have to go to shop rite for my deli items. My next move will be shopping at shop rite.

Acme is never crowded, it's nice and clean and has friendly service. The thing I do not like is the prices. The prices are very high, at times doubled from prices at other super markets. With that being said, if you are in a rush and only need a few things. It's a great place to shop. Acme can also be a good place for sales, certain sales depending on what it is are worth it!!

I bought a few buttercream cakes from Acme and each time I got them they taste like plastic or a chemical I cannot explain.
