This place may look ordinary from the outside, but the care they provide to your pet is outstanding. The staff is loving to your pet and knowledgeable with experience. The doctors go the extra mile to thoroughly examine and explain. The Docs have taken great care of my English Bulldog - who is a basket of maladies - and made the quality of her life vastly better. I highly recommend them.

I've been going to homecare for much of my senior cats retired life. I can't say enough how amazing, compassionate, and willing to give the time their staff are. I started with Dr. Patti the OG cat whisperer, haha. As her practice grew, I was afraid it'd lose the personal feel, but Dr. Schepp really lived up to Dr. Patti's reputation and became my main vet.My cat Bandit passed at 20 years, and I'm so thankful for the 3+ extra years we got together despite the kidney disease. Dr. Schepp did an amazing job getting Bandit the most advanced medical treatment a pet could ask for, with the latest in appetite stimulantion and special diets.I hope to one day bring a new cat to their cute vet house and reconnect. Thanks for everything :).

We've been coming here since our puppy was 8 weeks old. When we got her, she had diarrhea, so we rushed her to the animal hospital. After the emergency visit, we returned to this office, where the doctor assured us we wouldn't always need the animal hospital. They promised to take care of us even outside regular hours for emergencies, which is why we chose this office.Recently, our dog developed an ear infection on weekend. We cleaned it, but by Wednesday, it wasn't improving. I called the office, and Sharon informed me there were no appointments available for Wednesday and Thursday but offered to keep an eye out for cancellations if I called again on Friday morning before 9.I made that call on Friday morning before 9, but Jenny regretfully informed me that no appointments were available that day and suggested finding another vet. I'm willing to seek another vet, but I believe this office should have informed me three days in advance if they couldn't accommodate my dog. That way, I wouldn't have lost three days trying to secure an appointment elsewhere. If they truly value dogs and their owners, they should treat us with more consideration.

Dr. Maslanka was the only vet who would come to my house to help with end of life care with my 200 lb. Great Dane/mastiff. After that experience, I switched to her veterinary care after over 30 years of going to a different vet. Homecare Vet is now caring for my new Great Dane puppy, and they just handled a gastro issue with her with great results. Every doctor and technician at the clinic is compassionate and caring. I highly recommend this vet.

My dogs have been patients of this wonderful clinic for several years now.Beyond their superb level of expertise and professionalism, I’m astounded by the compassionate culture of this clinic.From routine checkups and health maintenance to urgent and chronic issues, the doctors and the staff are always attentive, focused, empathetic, and they clearly explain the situation and solution options.Recently had to face the inevitable – saying goodbye to my 15+ year old lab.I could not have asked for a more gentle, loving, and dignified exit for my dog, Luke, in his favorite space at our home.You really see who people are in such a compelling moment.Thank you, Dr. Patti and crew.

Dr. Patti and her staff are phenomenal! We had two instances with swallowed bones and Dr Patti had the right recommendations in both instances. We could come in at short notice, she examined our dog thoroughly (even offered x-ray when necessary) and explained the recommended treatment very well. In addition she and her staff genuinely care for her pet patients. No wonder she is referred to as the „pet whisperer“. Best vet ever.

I wish that I would have written this review after all of the many happy visits we have had over the years, but I think that the true character of a vet clinic is displayed during end of life care. If this is the case, then HomeCare is the most attentive, caring and compassionate clinic around.  Dr. Patti Maslanka and the entire HomeCare Team are literal angels.  Dr. Patti cared for our ailing senior cat during the last weeks of her life and supported us when we finally made the decision to end her suffering.  I will be forever grateful for the reverence and respect that Dr. Patti displayed during our cat's last moments.

Dr. Patti Maslanka is wonderful and truly cares about your pets. I've brought both of my dogs to her since they were puppies and have recommended her to dozens of friends. Not only is she patient with the pets she also give advice on how to train and deal with all kind of issues or recommend to reputable professionals. Every time I go there she would give me samples of things to take home and truly make it a wonderful experience for my dogs.

BEST vet ever.. I have had pets for 50 years and many vets. Dr. Patti Maslanka is the most loving knowledgeable vet I have ever known. Patti is by far the most reachable (up to 9 at night) Her staff is fabulous. Pricesare reasonable. I have been through all phases of my dog and cats life with Patti. The toughest being sickness and the final decision to put them to sleep. I couldn't have gone through with it without her loving gentle compassion . Dr Collins is equally outstanding.Leslie Neumeyer

Dr. Patti has been my vet for about 20 years. During that time she has looked after my cats. I can't praise her and her team more highly. Recently, my 15 year old cat, Tango, developed an aggressive cancer in the mouth - despite 2 successful surgeries performed by her colleague Dr. Collins to remove it. As with my previous cat, Dr. Patti shared my concern for what was best for Tango. With the tumor no longer operable, she prescribed weekly hospice sessions performed by her excellent staff that helped my cat manage better the illness through a surprisingly several good weeks. At the end, Dr. Patti could not have been more gentle, sympathetic, available, concerned and helpful - both to my cat and me. I could not have scripted a better way to handle a difficult period. Dr. Collins is professional, compassionate, very open with information, and always on top of things. Everyone we work with in the office cares about Wanda, and I am never nervous about leaving her when she needs a procedure, etc.

We had a very traumatic time when one of our dogs attacked the other, totally unprovoked and unexpected.The staff of Home Care Veterinary went above and beyond to assist us with a very poorly, much loved older dog. Their nursing care and thoughtfulness was a balm and resulted in a full recovery over several months.I would not hesitate to recommend this practice and all of their staff.

My cats and I have been clients at Home Care Veterinary Clinic , under the excellent care of Dr Patti Maslanka.Both cats were geriatric and my angel Baby Girl had many afflictions. However, I noticed after each of Dr Patti’s treatments,consisting of fluids, vitamins and antibiotics, that she rejuvenated and even started walking around at night. I also noticed how Dr Patti prescribed transdermal med for appetite support. These treatments were never used by any of the Vets in this area. Home Care is Fear Free Certified and uses Feliway also to relax the pets.The latest FDA approved technology for severe arthritis -the Assisi Loop, was prescribed by Dr Patti and my Baby was one of the first to benefit.Dr Patti is the Cat Whisperer -she is not afraid and has an uncanny way with cats!She is very kind and compassionate and highly skilled. She is an astute diagnostician. She is becoming certified in hospice care.Her last act of devotion to my Baby Girl and me was to visit our home. Baby crawled back into her bed, not afraid nor upset at all, while Dr Patti assisted her to heaven. Then, the Doctor spent time with me and my other cat.All this after her hours were finished at her clinic. She is totally unselfish and devoted to the pets and owners.
