I offer nothing but the highest recommendation for Cozy Dog. Caroline, the sales manager, was extremely helpful, showing me the different options available for my new fireplace. Even when what we chose didn't fit in the furniture I was about to have installed, Caroline quickly helped me with a great alternative with the same smile she greeted me with on day one. Lisa, the owner, was great to work with as well. Her son did a great job on my installation. This is a great company to work with from start to finish of your project. Highest recommendation! Granite is not installed in my picture posted, but I will update it when completed.

The staff at Cozy Dog Fireplace couldn't be more helpful or friendly. I could of sat there and just chatted for the day. Selection was alot to choose from. We found the perfect fireplace and with their help organizing size, style and when I needed it. We were having a custom built frame at home so picking the right fireplace was important. I GIVE THEM 2 THUMBS UP for all their help. Now I can enjoy a quiet evening with a glass of wine and my cozy fireplace.

BUYER BEWARE: The staff and the owner, Lisa were not knowledgeable or willing to help after they sold us a burner for our fire pit through them that they recommended. They were difficult to get in touch with after they sold us the unit and wouldn't return our phone calls, even though we were professional and just asking for help. We wasted $800 and 2 years later, we never got it to work. The flame only came up 1/4 an inch. They finally came back and verified that it was installed correctly and wanted to charge us $150 when they didn't do anything and the unit still wasn't working. They offered no additional support, option for return, or any help. ThisWe have had the burner that they recommended for 2 years now and as a result haven't been able to use it at all. While I understand that things happen, they couldn't have handled it worse.In response to the owner's reply- your installer confirmed that it was installed correctly. Cozy Dog was not helpful or responsive, so I stopped going to them for help a long time ago. I'm posting the review now because it has NEVER worked & after trying for 2 years, I have no other option but buying a new burner,

We were looking for a gas fireplace insert and decided to take a ride from Carroll Gardens Brooklyn to see what this place had to offer. Glad we did as this is such a quaint store with a nice selection. Lisa was a gem to work with we told her what our current fireplace dimensions were with pics and what type of look we were going for and she set us up with a Kozy Heat Chaska 29 gas insert along with a beautify beach setting display. Lisa was very helpful as setting us up with all the right equipment especially being, I was doing the install myself. Her pricing was very competitive with what we researched and purchased the same day. We took home the venting kit that day and our order was ready for pick up in 2 days. That’s quick! Upon pick up her staff was very helpful checking and loading the equipment into my vehicle. Install was a breeze and fit beautiful. I recommend you give the Cozy Dog a visit as Lisa and her team are wonderful.

I just have to say, I used to work for Cozy Dog, and let me tell you Lisa was not only a wonderful boss but her passion for her craft was evident each and every day. I felt prompted to write this because of a gentleman named Greg who left a negative review who worked there. His experience is just that, his own experience. When I worked there, I learned so much from Lisa, and working for her was a JOY. It's not fair to her or her business to be slandered over a review from someone who didn't like the work. I can tell you from first hand experience that the customer has always been her and her teams first priority. If someone needed an adjustment she did her very best to send one of us from the installation team to handle the issue, and there wasn't a time we left the customer unhappy. I have no reason to leave this review, it's literally because I worked for her and that I know for a fact that review was false that I felt promoted to speak up on her behalf. I can promise that when I get a home, I'm reaching out to Lisa to get my own fireplace, and thanks to her, I can install it myself. Choose cozy dog, you won't regret it and you'll definitely be treated with respect and leave with genuine satisfaction.

She came to our home and designed for us a fireplace wall ( matching shelves to come ) when it was installed we realized the depth of the viewing are was too thin to fit the logs we wanted . She tried to exchange to a wider model . The delivery was a long wait …so Lisa being the best, actually gave us her Showroom model with all the whistles on it and never asked for an increase in price !!! Why buy an electric fireplace on line when you can get for the same price an in person experience from an expert !!!

I had a highly unsatisfactory experience with this company. They installed fireplace doors that turned out to be wobbly and unsafe. Their explanation? "We said it would be mounted; we didn't specify it would be only to the floor." Misleading and unprofessional. I strongly suggest seeking services elsewhere to know precisely what you're getting.We should have read the yelp reviews before working with them.

This is a follow up to my last review of Cozy Dog Fireplace. Never, ever deal with this unprofessional company. Even after full upfront payment, this company's owner Lisa refuses to provide the missing remote and ensuring the fireplaces work with the remote. Myself and my contractor (who she mentions is wonderful) have tried to reach her on numerous occasions and she just ignores all requests. So now i have 2 very expensive fireplaces I can't even turn on. Horrible horrible customer service. Lisa states customer service is everything, but she doesn't even return emails or calls from anyone!

Purchased three fireplaces from them and only one works..I feel upset after spending $20k with this Cozy Dog Fireplace and start playing phone gamesCalled and emailed them numerous times to come and repair them never showed up.Don’t waste your time with them or you will be faced with no answer as i.was.As much as they brag about their customer service not matched by actual promises and guarantee of their work done. After they get paid they’ve gone and you’re on your own..In sum up , horrible customer service , unprofessional and unreliable.Don’t waste your money there.!!

This couldn't have been an easier process. We went to the showroom and he (I'm so sorry I can't remember his name) guided us through the options. We waited about a month for it to be made and shipped. Today he came and installed it. He took off his shoes, and cleaned up everything. I do not recommend using this company. I purchased 2 large and expensive fireplaces from them. Prices were increased during the project. Their installation failed town inspection, and the owner lectured me stating the town has no idea what they are talking about. But turns out their company had no idea what they were doing, so they had to redo their work to pass inspection. The customer service is horrible, they are late in providing any services, with no follow up. They could not even complete a simple request where I asked them to swap the color of the crystals when they did the final installation. Avoid, not worth your time and aggravation.
